I was accommodated in the new "Crown Select" and I was impressed. Fine and tasty food. Modern, airy, spotless rooms. At the basement a bowling area, an elegant pub and an asian restaurant. Outdoor a large swimming pool where an atmosphere of carefree relaxation overwhelms you. But a hotel is not just a building, of course, it takes a great team as well. Congratulation to the management and to the staff who welcome everybody with genuine hospitality.
I want to mention Ersin from the lobby bar. Nice, polite, discreet.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent.

I spent in this hotel 2 wonderful weeks. I came back to Poland this Friday. Everything was veeeeeeery good :) I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The hotel is located about 50 – 60 minutes from the airport. The hotel consists of two parts: Crown Palace and Crown Select. In the hotel were mainly German, Polish, Russian and Turkish people. Both parts of the hotel are connected together via an underground hallway. In Crown Palace there are shops with souvenirs, on level -1 you can find shop of the shoe, optician, a spa and a main restaurant for both parts. In addition, in the Crown Palace are three a la carte restaurants: Turkish, Italian and Mediterranean. In front of the hotel there are souvenir shops, small supermarkets, pharmacies, money exchange. A few meters away (starting on the right from the hotel) is a bus stop, were you can find dolmush to Kumkoy and Side. They run approximately every 10 minutes and the cost to the Side is 1.5 euro.

There are 4 swimming pools, two swimming pools with slides for children and adults and two trays. Free internet in the whole hotel. The beach is wide, sandy and clean. On the beach and pools there are showers and toilets. The beach is just 10 minutes away on foot from the hotel, but there is a beach bus, which shuttle from 8 to 18 (very often). On the beach is snack bar (open from 10 to 18).

The animations (on the beach: boccia, volley, water gym) are in the Crown Select Amphitheater. Some are worth to watch. They start at 20.30 Mini Disco for children, at 21.30 shows.

The best thing in the hotel is food. It is totally delicious! There is a very rich variety to choose from and anything you chose tasted good. Fresh fruits and salads, nice decorated deserts, grilled meat, pizza, rice and many other things were every day.

The room is very spacious, comfortable beds, very nice and clean bathroom, free safe, free mini bar (filled every day) and a lot of wardrobes, small balcony with table and seats. The only down side was the air condition. It wasn’t work properly. Once it was cold, another time - very hot. The air condition was turning off during day and night although the card to the electricity was in.

Finally I want to thank: Sait (for friendly service at meals and nice last dinner with flowers, “OF COURSE”), Aysegul and Erdem (for short talk polish - turkish at reception), doctor Hassan (for good advice) Semra (and other waiters and bartenders), Fatma (for fine decorations on beds) and many, many other people, who makes my holidays wonderful. THANK U GUYS!!!

If anyone has questions about this hotel please contact me: fun_of_travel@yahoo.com.

Room Tip: 1. Pay attention to the temperature difference (outdoor and indoor air-conditioned), you can easily catch a cold. 2. You have to visit the Side by night to make beautiful pictures of the ruins of temples of Apollo and Athena. 3. I recommend shopping in a sports shop called Ullared (ground floor and level -1) to the right of exit from the hotel. Prices on tags and not have to haggle.

We stayed in this new hotel in June 2011, only 4 weeks after it was opened. The hotel itself was lovely, luxurious lobby area, nice spacious rooms, clean bathrooms, delicious food and drinks, friendly staff, large pool, perfect service - everything free... but lack of space, and mouldy walls in spa center.

After arrival we got a welcome drink and a flower for the ladies (although it was midnight). The bellboy took us to our room, and when we said we didn't like the view (main road), immediately fixed a different one on the quieter side, as we had a five-month baby with us. I don't recommend rooms with pool view, as they are too noisy with the animation in the evening. The room was very nice, comfortable beds - although we had a double room, there were three beds, very nice bathroom, free safe, free mini bar - filled every day with 2 cans on coke, sprite, fanta and bottles of water and mineral water... and a lot of wardrobes, small balcony. Cleaned every day, towels changed if you left them on the
floor.

The best thing in the hotel was food. There was a very very rich variety to choose from and anything you chose tasted delicious. A lot of fresh vegetables, salads fresh or already mixed with dressing, fruit (including watermelon and cherries at all meals), two large desks with desserts, various dishes of meat (chicken, turkey, fish, beef) usually at least one dish from each meat... At breakfast time there was fresh orange juice - FREE (you only had to squeeze it yourself). The only down side was that there were only two hours for lunch and dinner, which we found insufficient. If you weren't hungry and wanted to eat later, you had to hurry with your meal then to manage before everything was cleared away. But there was a perfect confectionery, open all day with desserts, coffee and delicious ice cream (Carte D'Or). In the evening there were three ala carte restaurants - italian, turkish and fish (at the beach outside). There was only one open every day, and you have to book 1 day in advance, so we got to eat in only two of them - food nice, but service extremely slow. The quality of food was perfect, we didn't have any health problems the whole 10 days of our stay - and we drank our drinks with ice all the time.

The hotel beach was about 400 m away from the hotel, there was a free hotel shuttle all day. Quite a lot of sun beds, all with shade, beach bar with snacks, but we didn't eat there (everything free), but there were only soft drinks and beer, I am not sure about wine, but when we wanted coctails we were told that they were served only in the hotel bars.

The hotel had four pools (sweet water), the main one - very large (about 50 m long), one for babies, one with slides and one indoor. It wasn't crowded there, but I am not sure if the hotel was fully occupied then. What we didn't like was, that apart from the pool areas there was no space inside the complex to go for a walk to, no grass to lie on, no trees to sit under... We had the feeling a little like "sardines in a tin".

There was a spa center in the hotel, after arrival everyone got a voucher for one free 15 min back massage, which was nice. The spa centre was at the basement of the hotel, next to the large swimming pool and its toilets were used by everyone during the day. What was terrible was the state of the toilets there - the cleanliness was ok, but the walls were very wet, so wet, that there was mold all over the walls - just 4 weeks after opening the hotel! I wouldn't like to see it now.

There were some good points and some bad points, as everywhere, but all in all the good points outweight the bad ones and we enjoyed our holiday very much. I recommend the hotel to everybody.

We travelled with 2 small kids (3 yrs and 6 yrs) to Turkey for a relaxing holiday of 1 week and it was really satisfying.

We were welcomed as kings with all the hotel's staff lined up all happy and smiling and with food and drinks.

The room was spacy (even with 4 people), very nice shower and clean bathroom. The hotels' accomodation is not huge, but enough (positive point is that you always see where your kids are). The hotel has 3 ouside pools (1 big, 1 small and 1 baby pool). The middle pool has 2 slides, the only downside here is that the slides aren't working all day long, but I guess that was to save water or something. The hotel also has an incide pool but we didn't use that.

The hotel also has a paying wellness area, we used this 1 time (price was OK) to get a scrubbing and a massage and that was nice too. Animation was OK, good kid entertainment and nice sports activities for adults, very friendly animation staff.

We stayed in an all inclusive regime and the food was excellent, a lot of variation and choice all day long. Excellent ice (Carte d'or) all day long.

Minor negative point was the lack of Wifi in the whole hotel (but they were working on it and it avoided me reading my work emails all day long ;-)).
If you travel with small children, you should ask for a room as far as possible from the stage since the animation shows are a bit noisy and tend to last until max. 22h30.

Although I was worried to travel to a new hotel were nobody had been before, I was very happy having stayed there and I would recommend it to other people.

Room Tip: Room with pool view on on the 2nd floor or higher
