Having read many reviews I was dubious of this hotel. Many reviews are correct the staff are very friendly and helpful and work very hard.
More focussed on Germans and Russians than English but I did not find that a problem nor did I feel concerned by this. We tipped well and it was appreciated.

The moxy bar far better than Bacchus and served more branded spirits at no extra charge. The main restaurant was average to say the least. Boring and very canteen style with a lot of soggy everything! I don’t gonin holiday tona ‘5 star’ Hotel thinking I could cook better than that and so could my local pub! It’s not special it dull, repetitive and often not hit or sometimes so hot you scald yourself when opening to kid of the tureen!
Fresh fish was ok as was chicken but what to go with it depended on what time you arrived! Arrive after 8.30 and it’s slops and the dregs.
Steak restaurant and Chinese at a €15 Euro supplement were well worth the change and the service great. Fish restaurant also very good although that didn’t have any supplements.
Spa/Turkish bath looked promising until a free 15 min ‘trial’ turned into a 45 min hard sell you are so I’ll you need at least 4 treatments this week to survive the journey home!!! Suggest €250! I am 10 stone? Very active very healthy 53 year old I think!!
I declined all and didn’t bother with the one Haman and massage I wanted.

Disappointing to say least although there were good points the rooms clean, the towel artistry creative. Could have done without the 8am wake up on departure day asking for a tip amen we had consistently left tips each day! They are obviously paid so little it’s relied upon but that’s wrong in a ‘5 star ‘ hotel.

If you want 3 star all inclusive go for it but at £800 per person for a week Thomas Cook you should be ashamed.

Sorry to say I wouldn’t go back although maybe planned refurbishment will help but I suggest a kitchen menus revamp more important. Why have a dress code for men of no shorts in the evening when a) it’s not enforced and b) you wouldn’t wear smart casual long trousers to a Butlins level canteen.

We had fun because we made our own fun and enjoyment buy wouldn’t go back or recommend.

Arrived 7th Oct in the early morning due to another Thomas Cook mess up delayed almost 3 hours as they over booked the plane.
1 rooms
When we arrived it was a quick check in showed to our room paid for larger Seaview room Unfortunately we were on a corner next to a wall blocking most of the views and large trees blocked the rest of the views although you could see a bit of the sea. The rooms were large a bit tired but clean and comfortable everything you need in there fridge stocked daily and coffee restocked. Cleaned daily some beautiful towel displays by Selvi the lady attending our room.
2. Food
As it was after 1am we arrived we were told we could get something to eat in the dining room. Although a limited choice at that time we were happy to get
something to eat we had a drink in the Bacchus bar the staff in there always attentive in this bar fabulous team. The food did get boring after 2 weeks there and some nights I stuggled with the food choices. Some of the staff in here were rude and spent more time on their phone which is not good when there were tables with no cuttlery and people were still coming into the dining room. Alâ carte we tried the Turkish Italian and steak restaurants and the food was lovely. You do pay for the steak restaurant but worth it.Very German orientated hotel.
3. Animation team and management absolutely fantastic they always put on a great show.
4. Beach
The beach is lovely unfortunately no toppers for the lougers I've stayed in 3 and 4 star that always had these for all the sunbeds. If you have health problems its not comfortable we paid to go on the cabanas comfortable to lie on although they are not cleaned well after use we noticed the cupboards still had other peoples creams in the draws and drinks spilled over the side of the cupboards not wiped. A lovely day to spend on them in comfort. The pier is nice and relaxing although other hotel users go on the pier and use the sunbeds even though the life guard tells them to leave they don't listen. They move till the lifeguard moves and then jump back on. Maybe a way of stopping this a barrier that only guest of the hotel could use.
Over all we had a lovely holiday and most of the staff were great. I would not return to this hotel only as a preference to a more peaceful setting it was too busy for me. But certainly a good hotel not a 5* the hotel is due a refurbishment next month good luck with the improvements the new design looks fantastic.

Very mixed feelings about hotel, first the bad points.
Arrived early hours of the morning, not even offered a drink, dispatched to our room to find key card not activated. Managed to find our way back to reception which involved several lifts, stairs and walking. A map would have been a good idea. Room dirty, floor had loads dust, breadcrumbs and tea/ coffee stains. This was reported to reception who supposedly had a word with cleaner but this did not result in it being cleaned the next day.
The room was tucked around side of hotel overlooking kids slide and overgrown foliage from next door hotel with the smell of bonfires. We were told we could move rooms the next day.
Second room was clean and well decorated apart from bathroom which was in definite need of a refurb. Reported shower head which would not stay in place, this was fixed until cleaner came in and we were back to square one. We were sick of going up and down to reception by this point with various issues that we showered with one hand holding shower up for rest of stay. Saying we had a sea view was a term I would use loosely due to massive tree in front of balcony, we were offered a better sea view/ room change but didn’t intend spending anymore time packing and unpacking.
Sun beds were plentiful but lacked any cushions on them.
Some complaints we had are very petty but add them all up and they don’t give 5* luxury impression. No spoons in rooms just wooden stirrers, mini bar not refilled for 2 days, when it was refilled was hit and miss.
We never saw any premium brand spirits in any of the bars or offered any. Service when sitting outside varied from excellent to wondering if there was anyone actually on duty. When we got service the ladies were run off their feet and very friendly.
The usual ladies in patisserie weren’t on duty one morning and were replaced with a male member of staff who did not understand what a latte was.
Had a burger at beach restaurant one lunchtime which was black on outside and raw inside, yes we sent it back but did not get any feedback on this.
Had late breakfast at patisserie most mornings, scrambled eggs were cold, took food back on one occasion so they reheated the whole lot.
The good points were : pools were great, beach area very good and food in main restaurant was ok.
We have stayed in other 5* hotels in Turkey and this one nowhere near measures up to the standard we have had before. We would rate it 4*.
The Thomas Cook rep managed to get our check out time extended with no extra cost to us as we weren’t happy with sea view so thank you Paige.
On reflection we made the best of our holiday whilst we were there but would not go back to this hotel as we found it lacking in many areas.
Most replies from hotels are standard,eg we are sorry, please come back and we will try to improve things and you should have brought it to our attention etc etc. Well we did bring things to your attention but feel it fell on deaf ears at times and who wants to spend their holiday based in reception. Perhaps we are fussy but it’s supposed to be a 5 * hotel and having a clean room is a basic expectation.

Just recently returned from Sentido, having spent a week here.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Really couldn't fault it.
All staff were friendly and professional at all times. All clearly identifiable as they wear a uniform.
The hotel was immaculate and rooms cleaned every day.
A special thank you to the hotel staff & guest relations for making such a fuss of us on our birthdays!Everything that you did was so sweet and much appreciated!
We enjoyed the large swimming pool pretty much to ourselves all week. No problems with getting sunbeds etc
I'd disagree with other reviews I have read about the staff not speaking English and catering more for the German/Russians guests. The staff there are incredibly talented and speak English too! We did not find communication a problem!
Yes, the large majority of the guests were not English but isn't that what you expect when you go abroad?!
Food choice is limited but I assumed it was because its not peak season. We didn't struggle to find something to eat and it was delicious. I'd rather a smaller selection of quality food than a big selection of not very nice food!
Location is perfect, a 10 minute bus (dolmus) ride into Side and 30 mins into Manavgat.
Would recommend going to see the Manavgat waterfall but only if you do the trip yourself, it's not worth paying for a tour operator to take you from the hotel.
Overall, a wonderful hotel and would definately go back!

Stayed here for a week beginning of October. Hotel is a bit tired in places but is closing in a few weeks for a refurb. It is a very German biased hotel in that all the staff speak German rather than English, and continue to speak in German even when they know you are English. This translates into the food as well as it is mainly aimed at a German diet. The food can also be repetitive. It can be a struggle to get drinks from the staff so we would go to the bar and take drinks in to the restaurant with us. As vegetarians, we struggled to get any kind of variety to the meals and ended up going into Side a couple of times for evening meals. (note: allow an hour plus for the walk along the front not 30-45 mins!) The a la carte restaurants were mainly meat based although we did venture into The Grappa restaurant. It felt a bit like Butlins with everyone being served starter together, main together and so on. Not been to an a la carte like that before!

Our room was spacious with a French balcony. We were a bit put off by this to begin with but it was fine and in fact most of the rooms have a French balcony. The room and hotel in general were very clean and the staff (despite the language barrier) very friendly.

Lots of sunbeds available. We normally sit by the pool but the beach was so good we ended up there most days. Lots of water sports available.

Evening entertainment was varied and a bit hit and miss, catered again more for Germans.

Overall a nice hotel, very clean, food could be better but would recommend for a week in the sun.
