This is the fourth time we've holidayed at Club Med Palmiye and all our group of family & friends can't wait to go back again! When we first went in 2001 there were very few English-speakers which made it a bit difficult for our children to mix in, but by our second visit in 2008 the Brits had discovered the place and provided critical mass without by any means dominating the place. We've been to three other Club Meds and Palmiye is the best. You can see from their trident scoring system that it ticks all the boxes, and especially by having on-site disco/dancing thus avoiding the risk of teenagers having to take dodgy taxis to and from a nearby village to have after-dinner fun. On this occasion we went in September, the first time we've been able to go outside school holidays, and the temperature was much kinder - sometimes it's been in the mid 40s when we've been there in July/August which is just too much. We chose to be in the Villagio whose rooms are rather more basic than those in the hotel, but have a bit more character and walking through the lovely gardens to your room is a daily treat. As always the food is sensational - this time I counted and at each meal there are ten chefs cooking a speciality at their respective stations and two supervising. All the sports are well-run and this year event the waterfront was a bit more helpful (they tend to be much lazier and poutier than at Mark Warner). Tennis was fun especially as two of our boys won the men's doubles, and even beginners are encouraged to join in - some people go there for the tennis alone. The value-for-money is unbeatable and my strong advice is to book before the venture capitalists, who are in negotiations currently, buy Club Med and put all the prices up!

Room Tip: See the map I've attached to help you choose your room. It really depends on what activities you want to participate in. For example if you're into tennis, then choose Villagio Bungalows 108-113. For water sports fans select ones nearer the beach such as 400-406. If you're early to be then be further away from the Theater and the Villagio bar area etc. etc. The hotel is more corporate and quieter, so book in there if that's your styel and you can be near the adults only pool area (not marked on map). The only watch-out for the hotel is there's a very big tree with bougainvillea climbing it beside the doors to the garden/pool area which obscures the view of some rooms in the centre section. I would suggest floor 4 to the right of the hotel as you look at it and these rooms are 415 upwards from memory. Don't be too near or too far from the lift...

food is amazing, activities in hotel is amazing. sea and pool are perfect. you have to option for room. 1 is in hotel and 1 in village. village rooms are nice and confortable. but there is no seaview. in hotel rooms yo have chance to have a balcony with seaview. its your choise. it is an expensive hotel but worths every penny.

I wasn't sure if the Club mad concept still works . But now, it seems that my kids will never want a different holiday, the trapez, sailing , tennis, we did them all. The stuff are always kind and smiling, they work around the clock and it show.
Rooms are simple but clean, but as they promise - you don't spend time in the room at all.
The place is green and spotless, the view amazing

Club Med Palmiye is located on the beautiful Mediterranean sea of Antalya where no one can ever get sick of this place. We have been to a handful of Club Med in Asia, but this resort is huge with plenty of open space, abundance of land/sea activities and interesting people. The entire place is very well maintained, almost as good as new. No bugs found outside or inside of rooms. Rooms are well lighted and clean. Being the only Singaporeans, we did not feel strange or mistreated in any way. Everyone was very friendly. There is no language problem even though French may be widely used but most people speak English. It’s a safe haven for all ages.

The good work of a successful resort comes from efforts of the team who keep things going. The chef of village, Raphy has never been missed out on any actions. He is seen everywhere (day/night – at activities/shows/ bars), actively keeping everyone going (even making initiatives to speak to everyone). Along with him is a great team of enthusiastic and sporting GOs who keep things going smooth. Special thanks to Raphy (CDV), David (Thanks for asking me here), Katherine, Yorsa, Laurent and many more..who made our vacation pleasant. We had a great time and will definitely be coming back in future.

To the GO team, as usual we shall meet again somewhere soon. =)

Room Tip: If you prefer activities and want to be part of the action, choose to stay at the Villagio instead of hotel.

Returned yesterday from my second trip to Palmiye. We went as a group of 8 and stayed in the Hotel. The quality and comfort of the rooms is superb, the beds were comfortable and the bath robes a nice touch. The grounds are immaculate this is a big Village but it all looks spotless. You could be anywhere in the world and get these things but the one thing Palmiye has done so brilliantly is deliver the Club Med Experience with a fantastic team Chief of the Village Raphy has achieved this the best I've encountered so far. He is an enthusiastic, ever present leader not afraid to join in with his Team. A special mention to the fabulous Thieury not only for his entertainment skills but also his people skills.. We were made to feel like friends he obviously loves his job... Definitely a Chief in the making. Delicious food of the highest quality provided throughout the day we ate mostly at the Hotel. Sailing was excellent and a special mention to Fitness Instructor Lou who allowed me to share teaching her Zumba classes. One more mention to Hasan at the Hotel Pool bar for his good conversation and excellent service. My second Club Med this year I am hooked... People of the UK do not be afraid of this French company... Just have a go I bet you get hooked too... Hopefully see you there!!!!
