We arrived at this hotel at 6am in the morning after travelling for 8 hours and asked if we could have a drink of water only to be told breakfast doesn't start until 7am!! and all inclusive doesn't start until 10.30am. We should of know then that this was not going to be a pleasant experience.
The hotel itself appeared to be fairly clean although it became obvious that this was surface cleaning. The rooms were small and compact with a tiny bathroom that was not very clean. The shower curtain was all discoloured at the bottom and had black mould growing along it's length. On the plus side the airconditioning was excellent and totally controlled from inside the room so could be set to our comfort. There was however no airconditioning in the main entrance or resturant areas of the hotel so this was quite hot and stuffy.
The food is ok if you like bread, soup, salad and melon. Meat dishes were few and far between or looked so un appetising that we didn't want to try them. Breakfast was probably the worst meal of the day. Every couple of days we ate out in local resturants just so that we could have a decent meal. It was quite cheap to eat out but we felt cheated as we had paid for an all inclusive deal at the hotel.
The hotel manager was a very stern man, who frowned upon his staff being friendly to the visitors. He shouted at the staff constantly even in front of hotel guests. There was very little laughter from any of the guests and the atmosphere was not a happy one. In fact one set of guests were told to keep the noise down or go to their rooms at one point. The rest of the staff were not at all friendly towards us and kept taking our plates and glasses away before we had finished what were eating or drinking.
When we arrived there were quite a lot of English tourists but as the fortnight progressed more and more Russian and French arrived. The hotel manager appeared to favour these guests and was more friendly towards then than the English.
The all inclusive menu was available 10.30am to 10.30pm but alcohol consisted of beer, wine, vodka, gin and raki. On 7 occassions during our 13 night stay the hotel ran out of vodka before 10.30pm but after the all inclusive deal was finished we were allowed to buy it, not sure where this supply came from but it certainly wasn't available before 10.30pm. There were also occassions when the beer ran out and also the soft drinks. Of course we could buy them in cans from the bar at an extra charge.
There was no daytime entertainment in the hotel and over the 13 nights we stayed there was 1 night when there was a very poor show of turkish and folk dancing.
The area immediately around the hotel is just being developed now so looks very much like a building site. There were skips of rubbish strewn across the area and this was a little ofputting when we first arrived at the hotel. Our room was at the back of the hotel and was described as having a mountain view but that's not how I would of described the view from my window.
The nearby town of Kemer was very quiet with a nice area of resturants and shops. The harbour/marina area of the town is picturesque and the people in the town are very friendly. Going to this area each day made our stay more enjoyable. It took between 15 and 20 minutes of walking to reach the town. There was a shuttle service to and from the beach but only twice a day and once the bus was full it didn't return to pick up more passengers. Once at the beach ti cost around 2YTL to hire a sunbed and mattress.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any of my friends as it was not a pleasant experience. Maybe if you are russian or french you may get a better reception than we did, but i will certainly not be returning. The hotel is not family friendly at all and if we had had small children they would of been extremely bored as there was no entertainment and no children's club at all.

When we first arrived at the hotel first impression was that it was very clean. The night receptionist was helpful and probably the most friendliest of the staff there. (Give all your tips to him)
When we entered the rooms we thought they were decent for a four star hotel, the family room we had was quite spacious, clean and the air conditioning was great.
Food is the big problem. Catered for Germans and Russians, the only food for the English was chips and boiled/fried egg for breakfast throughout the whole two weeks of the holiday.
For a snack its burgers, chips and hot dogs and leftover food was used later on in the evening meal. The food would be brought out about 45 minutes before being served and would be luke warm before you were allowed to enter the restaurant.
And as for it being a buffet there was hardly any choice or variety in hot meals, however, there was plenty of salad and pasta.
Also the water that is freely available is simply tap water not bottled which you are led to believe as the units are not sealed and was confirmed by one of the waiters.
Due to complaints by guests while we were staying there, the food improved on the second week although still cold when served.
The pool was decent , not as big as you could hope for but still ok.
As we paid all inclusive, the bar didnt prove to be all it was cracked up to be. Only being allowed to get 2 drinks at a time, you got sick and tired of spending half the night waiting for another drink due to the main barman being a completely arrogant jekyll and hyde character who could switch his mood like the weather. He would deliberatly find reasons not to serve you and make you wait 10 to 15 minutes whilst he emptied ash trays or rearranged the bottles of shorts on the shelves. Even if the queue had more than 10 people waiting. At 10.20 pm he would only allow 1 drink per person and don't think you can out smart him by doubling up with drinks because he walks around the tables and checks what drinks you have. At 10.30 all inclusive stops even if you have been waiting in the queue for the last 10 to 15 minutes. Also you don't get full measures of drinks and you recieve half cups of alcohol/pop or whatever your drinking. Don't be fooled at the beggining of the holiday as he will appear friendly and welcomling to newcomers as he enjoys watching you get annoyed while waiting and trying to out smart you. (BARMAN FROM HELL)The complaints about him are endless and nothing is done about it.
Then we come to the "Big Boss". Even more arrogant than the barman, refuses to speak to the guests of the hotel and parolls around day and night trying to catch people having fun. His waiters/staff have to run around fullfilling his commands while he sits back and eats his dinner with his family. Beware of the few prostitutes that accomidate him. They are seen regularly around the hotel ang go into his room most nights.(On second floor right by our room)
All the staff are terrified of him as he will sack people by the click of his fingers. For example one waiter accidently dropped an ash tray which smashed and a piece fell into the pool. The next day we saw him not in uniform signing a piece of paper. We didnt see him after that.
The restaurant manager was just as arrogant and also does not appear to be what he seems.
There is absoloutley no entertainment whatsoever. The only music you get is the same few songs replayed everyday a few hundred times throughout the whole of the two weeks. If you are looking for fun, avoid this place at all costs!!!!
On the whole, the hotel is very clean but the majority of the staff are unwelcoming and lack courtesy except for the few who are willing to help.
Prepare to get your walking shoes on as the nearest super market is about 15 minutes away except for a little shop in the hotel next door. Do not be fooled by the false advertising of the free pool, launderette and the supermarket there. The gym is pointless too. And the leaflets of the surrounding grounds outside is down to fabulous computer imaging.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS WILL NOT LAST THROUGHOUT YOUR HOLIDAY.

All in all, a no-go.
Appearance 4 star. Facilities and courtesy of staff a 2 star.

After reading reviews before i went i was worried what i was going to find in this hotel. When i arrived i was pleasantly surprised with what i seen. Checking in was quick and simple. The porter took us to our air conditioned room which was quite small but very comfortable. The down side off this hotel was the staff were very misrable(except jimmy from the sauna). The food became repetative after day 3(but there was always chips and bread). Eating out is cheap enough if you ask jimmy from the sauna to recommend his cousins restaurant were you will be made a fuss off by sol the waiter who speaks perfect english and also free taxi ride to and from the restaurant. The hotel bar staff serve small measures on the drinks so you will be up and down every few minutes. All in all we had a really good holiday.Kemer is a lovely place if you get out and about,

When we booked the holiday online I checked the reviews and began to panic as they were not the best.
My mum (45) , sister (8), and I (23) had booked the 4* hotel for a week. The holiday was only around £300 per person All Inclusive and I found this a bit hard to believe.
When we arrived at the hotel they asked to photocopy all our passports (which I thought was odd) and then we were shown to our room which was slightly small but perfect for what we needed - clean tidy, bathroom was lovely and airconditioning was fab!
The pool was very big and there was a small paddling pool that we used to cool off if no kids were about. This is not a good kids pool - it's a shallow rectangle of water.

The staff were ok. One or two were really nice and they were very friendly with all the childern (all the locals were). The majority however worked all day in the blistering heat and as a result were at times rude.

I was also told off as I spilt a cup of orange juice on the pavement by the pool - that made me angry!

The food was served regularly as they state buffet style, it just isn't my thing at all. Brocilli, cold with sour cream over it. Everything is in a tomato and herb sauce (including the hot dogs).
My mum is a really fussy eater so we would eat cereal in the morning then chips for lunch (if we could stand the smell and go in the dining hall) and then we would go out for our Evening Meal to La Luna (Go, it's ace, cheap and the owner is lovely and gives you a free taxi after you've eaten with a 20% discount cos your from the hotel).

The Manager is torn faced and not customer friendly, he pretends not to speak english when anything bad happens.
Also I know of people who were asked not to leave the lobby (even for water) after they checked out so they wouldn't get anything else All Inclusive.

In conclusion the hotel would have been ideal self catering and Kemer is great! We had a good time and paid very little considering it was all inlcusive. If you book the hotel you will have a good time just eat out and if you want to be up past 12.30am stay out as they shut the bar at 12 and usher you up to your room!

This hotel is extremely clean - the maid service is first class; the pool is good and there are enough loungers and parasols for everybody; the staff are generally friendly and helpful; the position is out of town but only a 2 or 3 pound taxi ride; the shuttle to the pleasant pebble beach is free and punctual, if limited; the clientele is varied with a minority of Brits, which we enjoy, (but a preponderance of Russians which apparently leads to lower standards, according to the locals). Given the extremely low price of the holiday these are impressive pluses. As an older (early 50s) couple we could chill out and enjoy the wonderful weather and spectacular scenery. Fellow guests (mainly Brits but Belgians and Dutch as well) were also very friendly. Air-conditioning in the rooms was excellent but, in common with the entire area, air-conditioned dining was unavailable which was a trial when the temperature was unusually hot.

The major criticism, leading some to write the place off completely, is that the food is not kept and presented according to Britsh/European Health and Safety standards. Meat is often luke-warm and re-served and salads often contain the previous meal's left-overs. (This changed noticeably in the last couple of days of our stay when the whole catering team was replaced.) Actually, we found more than enough to eat and the food was tasty and relatively varied; all-inclusive at the less expensive end is bound to be limited and we weren't unhappy with the options - just the way the food was kept and served. Gloves were used, hands-on cleanliness was oberved, but bain maries weren't used properly, for example, and too much food was around for too long at too warm (or too cool!) a temperature.

Other criticisms would be that the owner is a rather stern and unwelcoming presence, although I suspect his attention is more on the staff; the attitude towards "all-inclusive" is mean, with glasses half-filled and the 12:00 cut-off on the day of departure being applied with no common-sense or helpfulness at all; the range of locally produced alcoholic drinks is minute and, finally, the absence of a single English speaker on the Hotel staff is a problem when anything goes even slightly wrong. There is vitually no entertainment on site (thank the Lord!) but the occasional Turkish nights were impressive.

Additional pluses are the immediate availability of a doctor (ten minutes from call to visit, typically), the excellent quality of the massage and Hamman team on site and the overall cheapness of the entire holiday.
