amazing country and town fo Kemer!!!!! I went to this Hotel alone, in the begining i felt so lonely specially the weather was so cloudy, but quickly i had good contact with the staff working there, from the receptionsites to the waiters to each person works there , they are so friendly, lovely and nice, very good quality of food, my room was so confortable. The entertainment team is the most what i liked in this hotel they are so friendly and try always to make people there happy, they are so funny as they have a different activities from the shows to the karaoké to the swiming pool entertainment.
thank you Viking star staff for making my holidays fabulous, i will definitely come back to this nice hotel, and i highly recommande it to anyone wants to have a special experience

We arrived 1 week ago to a hotel which looks the part untill u want to eat, sleep get a drink of juice before 10am, or expect any one to have manners in here!

The hotel is nice to look at, rooms are nice and pool area but that is as far as it goes for the 5*

If ur room faces the road, expect to be woken up all night by the tragic (there is also a mosque but this didn't bother us as we knew about it going off as early as 4.40am)

The food is disgusting and I'm not a fussy eater. It all taste the same, very bland and even when it comes straight out, it's not warm! We have ended up eating out 4 nights out of 7! If u don't want continental breakfast u won't be eating.

If u also want a drink of juice or alcohol before 10am you are on to plumbs. None of the bars will serve u before then but u can however drink the "fresh" juice which tastes like undiluted diluting juice. Even the shop they have in hotel doesn't sell juice!!

All inclusive finishes at 11pm which for a 5* I think is terrible!

Very few of the workers in here have any manners apart from entertainment team, room cleaners and one bar man.

Very few Brits go here aswell and there really Is not much to do or walk about near here. This was our first and last time here.

Stayed for one week and cannot fault the staff especially the cleaners. The hotel was spotless and the spa was excellent. The food at the beginning of the week was slightly limited but as the hotel filled up the choice became wider. The salad and fruit selection was very diverse and always fresh. This hotel is geared up for people with more adventurous tastes ie no chips or pizza which suited us fine. The Italian al a carte was fantastic only downside drinks are extra. We found the location ok and enjoyed a little walk to the beach but the shops are on your doorstep. Be careful of spice market as they do try to rip you off and then get abusive if you refuse!! In saying that we found the area to be very laid back and not pushy in comparison to other parts of Turkey. This is a great location for people with walking difficulties as there are no hills at all.
Only downside is the proximity to the mosque as the call to prayer is at 4.30 am. This resulted in not one unbroken nights sleep. I understand this is the culture but by day 7 we were both very tired!!! In saying that It did not spoil our holiday but we would be reluctant to return for that reason only. This is a shame as for the price we paid I cannot fault the hotel or it's staff in any way. Be careful not to lose your towels or towel cards as they understandably have a strict policy. Please talk to lady on guest relations as she is very knowledgeable and helpful.
Also red and white wine is ok but limited spirits.

Thank you for your good review!
I am happy to hear that I could help you with all your concerns. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel and I will share your review with the staff. Unfortunately I cannot change the volume down at the mosque and eighter their times, as you already mentioned it belongs to the Turkish culture, but I really hope this will not discourage you from a second stay with us.

As Viking Star Hotel team we will be looking forward for your next arrival.

We arrived at around 2300 only to be told the room plumbing was broken and as it was Saturday it could not be fixed until Monday. We were put in a taxi and sent to the Vikings sister hotel a three star (as rated by trip advisor) and told it had the same facilities and so not to be concerned.

We arrived to a small family room with dangerous electric connection in the bathroom and poorly repaired fixtures and fittings. We woke the next day to find the hotel had virtutually none of the facilities we had paid for and the only solution was to continually take taxi rides between the hotels if we wanted to use all the additions we had paid for.

After two days we demanded early access to our originally booked room and were given transport to the hotel. On arrival we were met by the receptionist who offered us our some what disappointing compensation. We were offered a bottle of wine (we were given a half bottle, it was undrinkable) a second night in the a Le carte restaurant (The food was an attempt at Italian but was very poor, all the alcohol was chargeable (we couldn't bring our gift bottle with us) and was £25 for a half bottle of revolting wine), a free safe key and a fruit selection for the room (an apple an orange three sour fruits and a peach; all available in the restaurant at all times and the next door market had some of the best fruit I've ever eaten for very little money).

We suggested that this wasn't adequate and so negotiated a massage and were asked to sign to say that we were happy and basically wouldn't be able to complain to the travel agent. Obviously if we knew about the bracketed problems above we would have never agreed or signed.

The rest of the stay was good and I have no other issues but as stated in the title, after staying in many five star hotels across the world this hotel just did not match up to its 5 star claim. Just to reiterate this we asked for lunch to be provided on our departure (as stated in the hotel literature) as we were offered a late check out but could not take up the offer as we were departing early and were told 'The restaurant is open for breakfast we don't offer lunch'. That in my opinion is not five star service!

Other than the above problems the hotel was well equiped, the food in the main restaurant was good, the entertainment was well arranged and the staff were happy and helpful. But don't expect 5 or possibly even 4 star service.

Room Tip: End of the u shape looking at the mountains.

Excellent Choice of food. 5 mins walk from all the shops and Bazaars. nice pool, excellent staff.

AI Drinks a bit limited, no cocktails only soft drinks, beer and wine.
The Mosque is very close to the hotel and can wake you with a startle at 5am every morning.
30 mins walk to the beach but there is a free shuttle.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the pool are the best with an excellent sunset view every evening.
