I thoroughly reserached this hotel on Trip Advisor before booking, so im pleased to say the hotel was exactly as i expected and this led to a good time being had by my family.

The resort is 45 km from the Airport. Kemer is an excellent resort that caters for the more discerning clientelle, no club 18/30 lager louts here. A bonus was it was not like a home from home, no sky sports, english breakfast, sunday roasts etc. This is Turkey, if you want all that home spun stuff, holiday at home!

The hotel itself is def not 5 star, well not by UK standards. More like a 4 star hotel. But a good one at that. Rooms not very lavish or large, but had all was needed and very clean.

Spa is fantastic in Hotel and whilst they charge for much of their treatments as you'd expect, you can still use the indoor pool, sauna etc foc to hotel guests.

Food in hotel was excellent. Great variety at mealtimes and tasty, with choices to eat inside in air conditioning or outside by pool area.

The staff were friendly, always happy to help and the place was kept spotless, very very clean. The communal areas were finished to a high standard and the games room a hit with my 13 yo son who played pool, ping pong and ice hockey etc( but ex charge).

The all inclusive drinks were fine, but please the wine was awful, really poor. I simply could not drink it even though it was all inclusive.

All in this is a very good hotel, it will not dissapoint. It has enough to keep all ages happy, the food, staff and location all spot on and as long as you do not expect 5 star luxury, you will not be dissapointed.

The bus runs a shuttle to a sandy and pebble beach about 5 mins drive or 15 mins walk away. The hotel is located by the town, but everywhere is 15/20 mins max from hotel as Kemer is not so large so location is spot on for going shopping, eating out or beach. No taxi ever needed and only used bus first day to get my bearings.

Arrived mon pm to be told the hotel was full . This wasn't the best start but we was taken to another hotel that was definitely more than 5* we stayed there until wed am . Then as promised we got a lovely room with wine fruit and free safe this was the start of our fantastic holiday . This hotel has a great animation team they are all very friendly without being pushy we especially loved Dogus he made sure we all had a brilliant time , but the whole team were great .
The only downside is the lack of available sunbeds which are reserved each day at the crack of Dawn then left unused ... Annoying.
The food is good with plenty of choice and on Wednesdays at the gala night it is fantastic .
This has to be the cleanest hotel in Turkey too the cleaning never stops
In fact just go to the Viking Star you won't be disappointed we can't wait to go back
In fact just visit the Viking Star and see for yourselves we can't wait to go back !

the hotel is lovely definitely a 5* hotel very very clean, friendly staff and the spa is a must!
room was a good size and comfortable, travel cot was fine. plenty of towels and room clean to a high standard everyday.
food was ok plenty of choice but did get a bit repetitive towards the end of the holiday but for buffet food was high quality.
swimming pool was fine not very child friendly as all on one level.
spa down stairs is excellent i had a facial and full body massage which were both great.
overall a brilliant hotel.

kemer itself is not the best area not much to do and the shops are all tourist shops just after your money and can be a bit rude.

beware of the places in the town selling trips they are not what they seem and we got ripped off... if you want to go on any trips my advice is to do it through your hotel!!!

Just back from a week in this hotel. We arrived at almost 5 in the morning and were obviously concerned having read reports of over booking however we were checked in quickly and shown toour rooms by very attentive staff. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The only gripe i have about the hotel was the lack of available sun beds around the pool. They were reserved by towels from early in the day despite this being against hotel policy and some days they wete never used. The food at all times was amazing and never showed the usual recycling that most all inclusive restuarants do. Make use of the a la carte restaurant which is free once during your stay. The food was excellent and the staff were so customer focussed it was a wonderful experience. Drinks here cost and look at paying almost 20 pounds for a bottle of wine but it is worth it. The week were there tempetatures got up to 47 degrees in the shade and the air conditioning struggled to cope but all in all a wonderful holiday in a lovely hotel that was absolutely spotless.

The Viking Star in Kemer is beautiful. We had a super holiday!

The food, cleanliness and entertainment was outstanding!
Both beaches were lovely - however we preferred the pebble beach.
We would both highly recommend this hotel to families or couples wanting a relaxing holiday.
The staff were fabulous - especially the waiters and entertainment staff, they work very hard!
The view from the pool was beautiful and almost surreal.
The Viking Star is a great place to go!

Literally just got back from my holiday last night, and I had to write a review! It was one of my favorite holidays in a while! Everything was excellent, the food the pool the spa, service from the hotel and not to forget to whole of the entertainment team.

The food team we're always efficient and always had a variety of foods, I never got hungry as there were always food out there. I was so surprised but, the cleaning staff cleaned everyday 24/7, it was always clean!
Everyday, there was a Gymnastic water aerobics class and it was so refreshing to do twice a day! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, I felt like i was part of a family.
It was also nice to have things to do in the evening, watching shows in the amptheatre most nights provided by the animation team. Another great thing was there was a mini club for the children, run by Alex - the most wonderful person in the word! They always involved the kids by having a mini disco. as well as having a Piccadilly disco, at 11 for adults.

Overall my stay was amazing, felt always happy and coming back next year without a doubt! Thank you Viking star, miss you already!!!
