It's normal hotel with normal interior, normal views, normal food etc. Annoying was how almost all of personal tried to accost to all of feminine gender. It's unacceptable for staff.
Second big irritative factor was that a local guards made the remark to us for the 5-minute loud laughter in the room, but they didn't wanted to do something about all night shouting and noisiness from other rooms despite our requests on the reception. Most animators (without girls and beach personal) just are making money on campers (in club issues) and if you don't follow them - they go on strike to you.

This large hotel was our place to stay one night after visiting the chimearas on Mount Olympos, and just good enough for that. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious but they need to improve the quality of their mattress. Breakfast is offered in a huge dining hall, large variety of good food, which is the norm in Turkey.

A good hotel for a 3+ star not 5. Our weekly rest was nice - good varied food, great fun animations, a nice spa at HOTEL.
In my opinion the hotel is more suitable for young people, families with children (older).
Perhaps the only negative - is the sea in 10 minutes on foot or by minibus FREE 5 minutes. On the beach is always the staff, free soft drinks and a beautiful sea.

Just came back from a stay at the hotel, and I've got to say that some of the reviews here shocked me.

It's a very nice hotel, with pretty good rooms - although a bit on the "empty" side (We were put in a family room which was bigger than we needed). Room was very clean every day, no complaints there.

The food was excellent. Enough choice for everyone, and I especially liked the desserts. Of course, the food becomes "repetititve" after a few days but the same applies to other hotels. The A La carte restaurant wasn't open so I can't judge on that.

The staff was very friendly. While they are more comfortable speaking Russian (and Turkish, obviously), I've never seen anyone "bothered" by us speaking English. We've also never been ignored because of it, either.

And then there's the swimming pool, which I spent most of the holiday in. While it was a bit on the cold side, it was very big, and very very clean. Cleanest outside pool I can remember ever swimming in!

The location was 'good.' Kemer is basically a Turkish version of Las Vegas where you see one hotel next to the other, but we were on walking distance from the city center where most of the bars / shops were located, and a shuttle drove us to the beach every hour (it's off season).

No complaints here. Had a great experience and would go back any day. Didn't mind the horde of Russians staying there one bit. ;-)

Room Tip: A room facing the swimming pool. Better view, less noise.

My friend and I have just returned from Meder resort, a 5 star hotel, I think not. Surly , rude staff that pander to the Russian clientele. Didn't come across any other English guests. We are just invisible when it comes to service at the bar. Food only satisfactory, but restaurant more like a canteen, you have to hunt round for clean cutlery, and seeing bare chested men sitting around you when having dinner is not a pretty, or acceptable sight in any star hotel. The debatable rated 5. Star hotel seemed to have no dress code in the restaurant , and if it has, it isn't enforced. Could go on and on about unsatisfactory issues. In a nut shell, don't go there.

Room Tip: I would say, rooms not facing the pool, and also on a higher floor.

Hotel is not a 5 star. And here are my comments

Location: In Kemer. Around 15 minute walk to the city center and 10 min walk to the beach. Located in a quite district of Kemer

Food: Selection of meals is not great, but overall the food is tasty and fresh.

Rooms are dirty, toilets are not cleaned well. 3 star hotel toilets are much cleaner.

Service: You will be surprised how ignorant and rude waiters and reception stuff is. You get a feeling that these guys are forced to work against their will.

Entertainment: If you are a old couple and wanna get quite place to rest Meder is the right place for you. it's not recommended for young people and families. The only thing entertainment team of hotel (or they call Animation team) does is takes you the Kemer's disco bars at night for double price. Such a morons. Families with kids should avoid Meder Resort. Hotel is small and no place for kid to play. Look at the pictures of the pool and you will understand.

Overall I would not ever stay in this hotel. It's boring, quality of service is low, rooms are dirty. You can get better deal for the price of Meder Resort.

P.S. Hotel is full of Russians. Most of them are drunk the whole day and noisy.

Room Tip: Pay a 20$ bribe to Reception and they will provide you with decent room.

Although my daughter and I did have a good holiday there were a lot of unsatisfactory issues. We are not being overcritical but just have personal expectations. We arrived at the hotel at 1am very hot and tired. Our room was hot, shabby, dirty and the fridge was filthy and empty, not even a bottle of water. Daughter had a stained sheet on her bed. Top sheet was like sleeping under a large tea towel! The room overlooked tanks and generators and the smell was awful. The air conditioning was not working. We did ask to be moved and this was dealt with satisfactorily the following day. The rooms and bathrooms are definitely not 5* more like 3*.

We were the only English people staying there and they definitely do not cater for the Brits! No information in the room about anything! Very poor. Most of the staff were delightful, friendly and helpful but there were quite a few rude, unhelpful staff who made you feel as though you were invisible.

The rest of the hotel was good and food generally very good but they were not very good at replenishing food when it had all gone and there were a lot of greedy guests!

The evenings at the hotel were very boring with nowhere set aside to sit outside and enjoy a drink, music or any proper entertainment. Disco started at 11.30 but most of the youngsters go into Kemer to the clubs.

The pool and surroundings were excellent and that is where we spent most of our time.

The beach was a 10 min walk/5 min bus ride and we went once. Beautiful.

The spa was exceptional and really made the stay a memorable. Thoroughly recommend the peel, foam and massage and hot stone therapy. You get a proper massage and amazing value for money. The staff are all very friendly and attentive.

I would not return to this hotel but will return to Turkey!

Room Tip: overlooking the pool 100%
