“Pure relaxation!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2009

Small all inclusive hotel with friendly hard working staff. Good choice of food at breakfast and evening meal (but this was often only lukewarm). Dinner very limited food choice but good salad bar. If you have a bithday or celebration while there, tell the reception and they will arrange a special table, cake and bubbly....nice touch. Pool adequate size for number of guests and sunbeds always available. If you like more space go to the beach but beware it is NOT very sandy! Entertainment was of usual Turkish standard...dire! However the entertainment staff did not lack enthusiasm and there was the odd funny/entertaining moment. Rooms were cleaned daily and mini bar restocked with soft drinks. Fresh towels every day and bedding changed regularly. Iron and ironing board on every floor ready to use which was very useful. Surrounding area lacked any character and the shops were all selling similar items. Definitely NOT a shoppers paradise! Made lots of new friends and the majority of guests were English. You will be disappointed if you expecting an action packed holiday but if like us you want pure relaxation then this is the place to visit!

Now that I'm safely back on the home front, I'd like to offer the following points for future visitors:

Good points:

• The staff are superb – very helpful, hardworking and polite.
• The ‘welcome’ and ‘leavers’ tables are beautifully set out. The setting for meals is in general beautiful, around the pool or otherwise in the open air. The linen and table decorations are changed every night, and the waiters wear different outfits to indicate what the theme of the buffet is to be.
• The rooms are cleaned very well, and the chambermaids arrange the bedcovers very artistically! The soft drinks in the fridges free, and replaced every day. Ev
• Contrary to what previous contributors have written, we found that our air-conditioning was on constantly.
• Our rep, Tashan, was most helpful and pleasant; there if you needed her, not obtrusive if you didn’t.
• The food is pretty good – they vary the menu a fair bit and cook all sorts of things in front of you and to order. The chefs, like the rest of the staff, were immaculate in their whites.
• We met some very nice people indeed, whom we remained friendly with throughout the holiday.

Not so good points:

• The entertainment (apart from the troupe of Turkish dancers on the 2nd night, who were terrific) is such as would not amuse an 8-year-old. It is amateur beyond belief. That being said, the chap in charge of it (who also conducts the water aerobics in the morning, keeps the music going all day, doubles as a bingo caller and no doubt fixes the plumbing if he has a spare moment) is very enthusiastic and welcoming, and you can’t help but like him.
• August is almost unbearably hot in this part of Turkey, so be warned!

Helpful hints:

• Don’t take an iron, there’s one on an ironing board on every corridor.
• If the heat bothers you at all, take with you a hand-held battery-operated fan. I wish I had.
• There’s a notice saying not to put towels on sunbeds to reserve them, but everyone does; you’ll need to look a bit lively about it though, they’re normally reserved by 0700hrs! Big plus point for me - hardly any kids around, this is a middle-aged person's hotel.

That being said, I would like to say hello to all the terrific people we met on holiday (Mike and Paula, Jason and Elaine and their girls in particular), and especially a huge hello to Dave and Tracy from Southend – don’t forget, chaps, 11 o’clock at the Ritz! Hang on in there!

What can one say apart from absolutely fantastic! We stayed at the Pasha Princess for two weeks this August and we had an amazing time, there were six of us ranging from 19 years old to 78 years olds and all our needs were met. We wanted two weeks relaxation and that’s what we got.
The hotel itself is absolutely wonderful, exceptionally clean, the locals call it ‘The Pink Palace’ and we were certainly made to feel like royalty, it is small and very friendly, reception is open 24hrs, it has three bars (they open at 11am) one in the pool area, one situated inside the dinning area, and one in lounge (Lounge bar only opens during cooler seasons as no one sits inside to use it). The bars do shut at 11pm, but there are several bars outside the hotel which will serve you till what ever time you want. Soft drinks, tea and coffee are available 24 hrs.
The bedrooms are spacious with one double and one single bed, and they are equipped with mini bar which is replenished daily (with soft drinks) Hair dryer, telephone and TV and free safe. Each room has an en suite bathroom (shower no bath), there is a daily maid service which is extremely efficient, and they have little special touches with decorations, flowers and sweets in your room. They have a free pool towel service these are replaced free of charge weekly but you can replace as many times as you like during that time for 0ne Euro at reception.
The food in Pasha is very good with an excellent choice (you do however get the typical Brit who moans because there is no meat, potatoes and veg, and possibly may have been better suited to Skegness). Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 10 am with a wide selection of continental dishes, pancakes, eggs cooked in a variety of ways, (No bacon, they don’t eat pork) but lots to choose from. Lunch is at 12.30 till 2pm this is salads, fish, meat, pasta etc (Much smaller selection than evening but still plenty of choice) then the evening meal, 7.30 onwards has a wide selection of foods, each night has a theme and the food is fantastic. Each evening meal the tables and the decoration are different with a lot of attention to detail, (far better than some expensive restaurants). Those are the main meals BUT there is more, in the afternoon you have ice-cream, fruits, local breads brought round to you at the pool, cold hand towels and many other little touches. And there are midnight snacks if you haven’t already eaten and drank enough.
The Pasha also has a private beach which is about 5 minutes walk from the hotel, there is a beach bar which opens at 10am till 6pm and also serves food at lunch time so you don’t have to walk back to the hotel if you don’t want to.
The pool is kept very clean it has a Jacuzzi situated in it. There is a sauna but this is not open during July and August, (with temperatures reaching 52 you don’t need a sauna). There is a Masseur who comes highly recommended, and there is also a small gym.
There is evening entertainment with Belly Dancers, Turkish dancers, live music, lots of fantastic Turkish music and dancing for the adventurous amongst you, and then there is the animation team comedy sketch nights, this team work so hard and they put their heart and sole into entertaining the holiday makers, they don’t claim to be professionals and say if they were they would be on stage somewhere earning lots of money, but it is good slapstick comedy.
The staff in Pasha Work so very hard and they are all really friendly, English isn’t fluent but its 100% better than most Brit’s Turkish. We had a really good holiday and want to say a very big thank you to the staff for making it such a special time.
Outside the hotel there is a good choice of bars and shops, Camyuva Bazaar is on a Wednesday and 5 minutes bus ride away where the prices are a third of those in the shops, you can catch the bus directly outside the hotel.

....... that peformed on the first night we were there and were EXCELLENT, because for the rest of the week the entertainment was DIRE!! Some bloke playing a weedy sounding keyboard to accompany a woman singing Abba songs in a less than enthusiastic fashion; and best of all, the hotel's resident DJ Talent performing 'comedy' sketches ..... oh how we laughed !!! A charming man and a fun DJ, Aqua Aerobics Instructor and Bingo Caller, but .......

We were tempted to dig a tunnel through to a neighbouring hotel, just to see what was going on, but felt restricted by the green bands clamped to our wrists on arrival, labelling us as Pasha's Princess inmates.

As for the staff, they were all wonderful, helpful and friendly in the extreme. The evening buffets were marvellously presented, with all the waiting staff relevantly attired (e.g., in sailors' outfits on Seafood Night). The food was pretty good too; lots of variety. Could have done with having some ice cream available at lunch time (no puddings except fruit), and some cold meat, perhaps, but I would give a definite thumbs up to the food. The drinks were a bit hit and miss; the gin was disgusting, the vodka and white rum decidedly 'weak', the cocktails too sugary and syrupy, the brandy excellent, the sparkling wine most palatable, etc etc.. the biggest disappointment was not being able to have proper wine with dinner, as the one choice of red and and one of white from a cask were both seriously Chateau Sarsons.

Now I'm back in Old Blighty I have to say that it's good to be cool again, as I found the heat completely sapped my energy; my sister and I would have liked to go on some excursions but it was simply too hot to do anything but lie around in the shade waving a fan, much of the time.

Another good thing for internet addicts such as myself is an internet cafe next door to the hotel, charging only 4 lira per hour.

Oh, and don't bother with the gym facilities. The excersise bikes don't even work .....

To sum up, I was well fed and watered, met some wonderful people and had a good loll around in the sumptuous and relaxing surroundings, but was glad to be leaving after a week as the boredom was seriously kicking in by about the 5th day. For those still on the inside, we will be sending you a Red Cross parcel containing a pack of cards and Trivial Pusuit.

Eleven o'clock at the Ritz, my friends!!!

Pasha's Princess Hotel was fabulous.
The staff are hard working and always happy to help.
There are lots of staff on hand whether its to serve or to clear away.
HOTEL:
The hotel is small and friendly so you get to know most of the other holiday makers. The hotel is kept immaculately clean at all times.
The hotel has a small pool bar open from 11am - 11pm that you can get soft drinks (fanta, coca cola, sprite) alcoholic drinks including coctails (beer is Tuborg lager), water, tea and coffee and friut juice available from drinks station 24hrs (wine available at station 11am -11pm)
The restaurant also has a small bar at meal times (serving hatch)
LOCATION
Camyuva is quite small but there are shops, supermarkets, bars (Cici's recommended) and a couple of restaurants (Monte Laras recommended) and disco it also has a weekly market for your GENUINE FAKE bargains (haggling is a must!!!!) Dont book trips through rep can get them 1/2 the price from local trip shops (Iceberg recommended)
Kemer is a short bus journey away (cheap) this is the main town closest to Camyuva packed with shops, bars restaurants also a weekly market.
The back drop to Pashas Princess are moutains and a 5 minute walk to the beach (pebble beach).
We didnt spend anytime at the beach (we like the pool). The hotel does have its own area of beach with a snack bar (look for the big white tent)
POOL and RESTAURANT
Pashas Princess pool area is very nice there are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas but they can be quite tightly packed (get up early to get space) It was very hot when we were there but there is plenty of shade at the seated area at the pool bar.
The hotel has special tables set up for 1st night and leavers night for evening meal this is a really nice idea as it gets you talking to other holiday makers.
We never had any problem getting a table at meal times and there was no massive queues that you sometimes get at All Inclusive hotels.
All meals times you would never go hungry (even the pickiest of eaters) fresh pancakes and omlettes available at breakfast (dont expect English Fry Up)as well as hams, cheeses, breads, cereals also some hot items varied
Lunch and evening meal fabulous salad and fruit bar and always chips available the rest of the food varied rice, pastas, chicken, beef , fish (they love egg plant?)
The evening meal was on a 2 week rota with every night having a different theme (menu was on notice board so you could see what was going to be on )
BEDROOMS
The bedroom and bathroom were spacious, the mini fridge was filled daily by maids (water, fanta, coca cola), our air conditioning was fab (had to even put the quilt on at night) but did hear some people complaining about their aircon beig noisy, not cold enough etc) the aircon is set for specific time so not on 24 hrs but after evening out you come back to a refreshing room
Maids very good and respected you if you put Do Not Disturb up they would come back later.
ENTERTAINMENT
This is the worst part to the hotel the staff are very trying BUT....
Hotel not really for children under 15
Also book yourself a massage very nice!
All in all this hotel is great would prob not go for 2 weeks again but definately 7 -10 days

From the minute we checked in to the minute we left we were amazed at the hardworking friendly staff, the spacious clean well appointed room ~ Top service at both poolside & beach.
We did get a little bored with the food & drinks at the hotel & spent a few days eating out at one of the numerous friendly bars (Delux cafe & CC's).
The Pool activities; water volleyball, Polo etc were good fun ~ The night time entertainment was awfull.... musicians miming & dire comedy sketches, 100% effort though.
Will definately return to Turkey, but not all inclusive.... gets boring after a week or so.

generally the pashas princess hotel was average, the hotel itself was lovely and the staff were extremley helpful. The food was a let down, there wasnt much choice and it tasted horrible, the umbrellas around the pool would fly away if there was a gust of wind which was annoying and dangerous. We found some of the other guests were rude and had staring problems. The actual location of the hotel was nice as it was surronded by mountains and the coast. There was quite a good nightlife and shops surronding the hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel was inpeccable. The hotel entertainment was quite disapointing but ten out of ten to the staff who put it on for enthusiasum. The hotel was quiet and peaceful and no one bothered you such as the hotel staff pestering you to do the activities. overall rarting 6 out of 10.
