“Spoiled by Perverse Aircon Policy”
Reviewed May 6, 2014

I have waited nearly a year before making this report because of my mixed feelings about this hotel. Let me start with the big black mark that I am forced to enter against Pasha's Princess. Air conditioning. This hotel has a policy whereby air conditioning in the guest rooms is only available from 17:00 to 19:00 hours and from 22:00 hours to 06:00 hours daily. With midday temperatures around 37/38 deg C, the restriction meant that the rooms were uncomfortably hot to the point of being unusable throughout much of the day. We would never return to Pasha's Princess while this policy remains in place and if we had known about it in advance we would not have booked in the first place.

Happily, there are very many points of praise earned by this hotel. The staff (most especially the bar staff but also the restaurant and kitchen staff) are absolutely brilliant.

The food was good, making allowance for the inevitable repetition of a fortnight's buffets. Excellent special variations every night, though, prepared by happy, helpful cooking staff whose genuine appreciation of the small tips which we left was self-evident.

Location was okay, but no better than that. 150 yards walk to the (rather crowded) private beach section, but the adjoining garden/cafe area was relaxing and much appreciated.

Guests seemed to be a broad western-European mix and there was a powerful positive esprit de corps. No Russians, so far as we could tell.

Excursions: Cable-car trip and Eco-restaurant tour were good fun and good value for money. Boat trip out of Kemer hugely enjoyable. The local buses (dolmus) are cheap and frequent - best way to visit Kemer town.

This was our first visit to Turkey and in the main we enjoyed it and would visit the country again, but not this particular location - will probably try a different region altogether purely in the interests of variety of experience.

Room Tip: Ci-ci's bar (within a hundred yards or so) is well worth a visit - really good live music and a...

A great place to stay after a relatively short, durable flight and one hour coach transfer we were welcomed and shown to our top floor corner balcony room that was clean, pleasant and secure. The hotel does mainly cater for European guests with a lot of food choices aimed at the German guests but the staff made everyone welcome, were on hand to help and were generally very pleasant. The entertainment leaves a lot to be desired but that isn't what we went there for. We wanted to relax. Unwind, get a tan and generally switch off which is exactly what we were able to do. We did spend a day in Kemer, taking our lives in our own hands boarding the dolmus that stops right outside the hotel and enjoyed bartering in the huge market. We would happily go back if we get the chance, its a lovely place for a quiet stay.

Can't say anything bad about this hotel! Rooms were quite big and clean with mini fridge with drinks (refilled everyday). Food was really good, lots of choices and not too repetitive (stayed 10 nights and always found something different to eat). The special tables for arriving guests and leaving guests it's a good idea I think, something extra from the hotel, a nice 'surprise'. The night entertainment was amazing, couldn't stop laughing! Also day activities were brilliant, water volleyball, water polo, aqua aerobics, darts etc to keep guests involved. The location is good too, however better for people who look for more peace, we didn't find any good night life/ clubs (small town) but still really enjoyed our stay! Hopefully we'll be back! Would definitely recommend!

We stayed at Pasha's princess in October 2013. We got there quite late and it was a bit of a trek from the airport. The bar was just closing as we arrived so we were told we could get 2 drinks. We then went to the bar over the road which was nice. the weather was lovely but apparently just before we got there people had been wearing coats and it was very cold. This is not somewhere to go if you are looking for nightlife and non stop excitement. The average age is probably about 55 so we were one of the youngest there but some of the people that we met were just lovely. John and Jean we miss you :)
Ennis the entertainment guy was lovely. He was called "too late" the whole time we were there because he was always late for his activities. Crazy darts in the afternoon was hilarious. Bowls down by the beach - beating the germans and then later that night having them sing to us and fireworks being set off. All just good fun. We did very little all week and the food was lovely. Pool was absolutely freezing! All in all a nice relaxing break

Room Tip: ask for a room looking over the pool

The hotel is in a very quite area not in the centre of Kemer, however there are good transport links to other areas and near a nice beach. The hotel itself was very nice, good food, spacious rooms and nice pool.

Old world charm service and style with a smile and old fashioned charm. Different pace of life in a fast moving world what a nice place to be for a relaxed and slow paced holiday. Good food but you do have to be faster than the Brit OAPs the speed of the Zimmer's is amazing and the operation scars by the score.

Great place to be no kids apart from the oldies but hay ho...there nearly as bad as the kids, it is a great holiday once you get into the pace of life in the hotel and a free towel on leaving

Room Tip: All good as the shops and bars close at about 11,00 so sleep is not a problem. Over active OAPs on t...
