“Very clean and friendly hotel...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 20, 2011

I didin't pay 5 star prices so I didn't expect 5 star accomodation. It did what it said on the tin! The room was clean, big enough, comfy beds, good sized fridge, efficient air-con, good storage and well located for restaurants and beach. The hotel manager (Sinan...sorry if that's not how you spell it) was more than helpful. We did have a couple of queries (we are Bristish after all) but he always did his best to help us either straight away or as soon as he could and what's more...he was honest with us! We did laugh when he couldn't supply us with an aerial for the TV so suggested using a fork instead...it did actually work! I would point out though that true to his word, as soon as he could supply one he did! There wasn't any English channels on the room tv but you could use the restaurant tv if you wanted to watch the news. We found it amusing to try and work out the Turkish anyway.
If you expect English TV, large buzzing bar and union jack towels on the balconies then this is not the hotel for you but if you want a clean, friendly, typically Turkish run hotel then I would certainly recommend it.
Sinan and his father even came to see us off and we felt like we'd made some new friends.
Thanks for a lovely holiday and I wish you well with the rest of the season. Please don't think all us British are moaning minnies.....some of us live in the real world!
Lynne and Richard xx

Tips for travellers:-
Beach: we loved moonlight beach which is a 10 minute stroll from hotel. Akva beach bar looked after us. free sun beds if you eat or drink from them. They even gave us a lift back on their bus after a day at the beach if you wanted.
Restaurants: We liked Leon's and Friday's both 5 minutes away. If you've never tried Turkish food then you have to try Menemen and the casseroles. As a veggi the mushroom casserole was to die for but my partner enjoyed the chicken one too.

Well where can i begin with the orange garden? Just Terrible.
We traveled in a group of 7 - 4 Adults and 3 children 5 years and under to share 2 1 bedroom apartments. We arrived early morning on June 27th 2011 and were given 2 apartments on the 5th floor, we had to struggle these 5 floors of steps with all lour baggage and with no help whatsoever from the staff. So not a good start The rooms we were given were filthy with dirt in every corner of the apartment, walking bare foot in the apartment literally turned the soles of my feet a dark brown colour! yuk. In our apartment there was 2 adults (including me) and our 2 young children aged 2 and 3. we were given 2 bath towels to last 4 days in 40 degree+ heat and we were only given 2 pillows and bedding for 1 bed. No bedding was provided for the sofa bed n the living room. When we complained about this the manager agreed it was not adequate and said more bedding and towels would be provided - they never were. In the end we bought more sheets and towels. The room was supposed to be cleaned every 3-4 days and new linen/towels provided. The towels were only changed if the maid felt absolutely necessary and the sheets were not changed throughout the whole 16 day stay. The sheets were simply taken off the bed turned over and tucked in!. The last issue with the hotel is that it should not be classified as being safe for under 5's it is not safe!!. There were hazards everywhere. There is a baby pool/ pond measuring 1meter by 1 meter and the slats (sorry dont know technical name!) around the pool was broken if a baby had got their leg caught in there it could result in a serious accident. Overall if you are considering booking the orange garden, think again! it may seem cheap but you really get what you pay for and in this case a lot less than you pay for. Just Terrible never ever again.

I can realy recomend this nice Hotel. Very Nice Owner and Wife. Very clean and nice rooms, and a little nice restaurant with exelent food.
I have been living this hotel 4 times, and I be back again in september.
Close to shopping and close to Markets and only short walk to the beach, make this hotel the best choise of living in Kemer, if what you want is nice relaxing holliday and family feeling in your hotel.
5 stars from me.....

Room Tip: I like to have my apartment in the top of the roof.....very nice apartments

My wife and me stayed in Orange Garden for 8 weeks. I can work from everywhere i just need some stable internet connection + notebook, thats why my wife and me decided to spend this may and june in Turkey...because the weather is better than in Germany and we wanted to see some new places after spending several vacations in other places of Europe. We decided to rent a apartment in Kemer and we found the Orange Garden Hotel on the internet. We had a 2 room apartment in the first floor of orange garden. View from balcony was very nice. Everything was very clean and the staff at the hotel very friendly. Internet is available via wifi in the restaurant, reception, outside at the pool area and inside in the room also. The moonlight beach is just 10 minutes away by walk. Directly next to Orange Garden is also some supermarket...24h open :) Orange Garden is situated in one of the best areas of Kemer...it is quiet, but not far away from the center. Our 2 room apartment had a nice big size. The aircondition was working good and the fridge was big (standardsize) in comparism with minifridges which you often find usually in Hotelrooms. In morning before we went to sightseeing or to the beach we always enjoyed the tasty breakfast in some good and relaxing atmosphere in Orange Garden. If you need a taxi...taxistation is just 200 m away...or ask the friendly staff in orange garden...they can call you a taxi also. In conclusion we can say that we enjoyed our stay in Orange Garden very much and would always come back again

upon arrival at the orange garden apts, the hotel wasn't much to look at : small pool , small bar and sewer smelling hall ways. we did not expect much for the price that we paid but what we found at this hotel was cockroach and spider infested rooms. the walls are very very thin!! you can practically hear people whispering upstairs. we asked for a top floor, balcony room and was placed in a basement room right next to the pool!
avoided the food at the hotel as we ordered a coffee and it came with extra to what we thought was PUBIC HAIR!! in the coffee!
dont even try to ask for help from the manager as he is just unhelpful and arrogant! to quote the manager 'i cant help you , call your agency''!!!

overall a very unpleasant stay!!!

Room Tip: horrible basement rooms , ask for top floor rooms!

Hello I wrote this text from norway.
I have been that hotel on may 2011 and it was excellent, except the weather some times. Almost everyday we had open buffet breakfast and was very clean and fresh.
Next time i would like to go there with my all family.
when we want to go centre of kemer its take only 5 mins by walk from orange garden apartmants.
The beach is take 10 mins by walk and last things
we went some times to other restaurants but we paid a lot of money.
Price and food is very fantastic in this apartmant. Everyone shoul visit there.
There is realy lovely place and friendly staffs.

This Hotel use to be one of the loveliest hotels in kemer but not anymore!..
Where did Hasan, yusuf and team go?
it seems that it is under new management and boy has it gone down hill! the new staff have run it right down. The food was awful! the steak i orderd was crunchy, and My Husbands turkish brekfast came with a raw egg and very stale bread!
When we complained to the staff they just said that if we didnt like it then dont eat in the bar!..
Not to mention the pool area was never cleaned and full of cigerate ends!

I was lost for words we have been guests to this hotel for 5 years now it was somthing i use to look forward to every year, we wont be returning again. I am so dissapointed as is my husband and many other guests we spoke to there.
