“Great place to visit”
Reviewed August 2, 2013

Loved the place - great ambiance - locals jumping from rocks - but water was a mix of warm and cold as there is fresh water coming in from the mountain.

“nice spot for a swim, but beware of restaurant”
Reviewed July 11, 2013

The beach is small and very rocky (like, big pebbles!) and the water is cold due to a spring nearby. Not a good beach for small children. There are several restaurants and numerous lounge chairs and umbrellas. When we arrived, a waiter who called himself "Ben Affleck", told us we could use the chairs as long as we "bought something" from his restaurant, and we agreed. It was the middle of a weekday afternoon, and there were plenty of empty chairs. Because we had a six-year-old with us, we only stayed 90 minutes, and bought waters, sodas, and beer. The waiter charged us 6 lira a chair when we were leaving because we didn't buy any food. We argued with him, but he was insistent, so we paid and left, never to return. This was the last restaurant on the right side.

“Be sure to spend a leisurely afternoon at this lovely little cove!”

Very clear, clean turquoise blue water. Several restaurants provide amenities - surprisingly good food. Free umbrellas and chairs as long as you buy something from them.

“Ben Affleck”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

As you enter the beach, go to the blue chairs on the right hand side, which is where the highly amusing, very friendly Turkish Ben Affleck (as he calls himself) resides. He and his brother run the cafe bar and there is no charge for sun beds as long as you use his bar for drinks and/or food. The best homemade chips by Mama here and the brothers are so friendly with Ben being the star comedian. Thoroughly enjoyable. Take rubber/jelly beach shoes as the pebbles are hard to walk on both in and out of the sea!!

Turkish Ben offered us a beach barbecue in the evening which they will do for for 4 or more people. Sadly we didn't have enough time but would definitely do this if we returned.

“Quiet day on the beach”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

Good food available. Walk into the water from the beach - shelves steeply so not so good for non-swimmers perhaps.
