I don't really want to review this hotel as it is such a wonderful place and I want to keep it a personal secret but as long as it is quiet when I go I don't mind. This is how hotels should be,. A beautiful setting, friendly welcoming attentive staff who can speak your language. The sea views rooms have beautiful views overlooking pool and sea, with the sun setting just over the hill. The cleaning staff do an excellent job. Breakfast and dinner can be taken outside overlooking the terrace to the sea, Excellent choice and variety of meals. Large pool to swim in flood lit all night with lovely poolside sofas, loungers and cushions. An owner on site who is welcoming helpful and just makes sure everything runs smoothly.
Only disadvantage is the terrace location which means steps to pool and restaurant and so not suitable for those with mobility problems.

Room Tip: Worth the extra for a sea view room. Corner rooms have larger balconies. Honeymoon suite worth pre...

One of the best boutique hotels I have stayed. Highly recommended. It is worth it every euro or dollar you are going to spend. Aesthetics, location, service, facilities are first rate. A unique experience. Also dinner at the hotel restaurant is very romantic and food is excellent. Congratulations to the owner. I will certainly try to come back.

Been going to Kas every year for the last decade. If you decide to go to Kas, you should first decide whether to stay in the city center or peninsula. City center is more convinent if you prefer you can walk to almost all attractions. Almost all restaurants are in the city center. Peninsula is more quiet. If you have walking difficulties you should stay in the city center. Each hotel in Peninsula has hundreds of stairs or hills to reach the road or the sea.
Lukka is a new hotel located in Cukurbag Peninsula. It faces the Marina side not Meis Island side. It is priced higher compared to most hotels. It has lots and lots of stairs like all the other hotels in the Peninsula. Not all rooms have view. Stay at a sea view room or you would be missing loads. View is perfect. Sea temperature is warmer compared to Kucukcakil & Buyukcakil beaches. They have a pool filled with sea water. They serve decent breakfast. The staff working at the hotel can not guide you well enough about Kas. They don't have that kind of experience. Never eaten at lunch or dinner because so many good places to eat at center. I have doubts about price/service quality.

Room Tip: Stay at a sea view room.

We drove from side to kas along the d400 and was one of the best drives I have been on with many sights to see Myra, demra and many beautiful bays along the way.
We spent 3 nights at the Lukka hotel only 20+ bedrooms but all with beautiful decor and the views and pool area are outstanding the only bad point is the dinning room were poor both breakfast and evening meal but there are plenty of good restaurants in kas.
So give this trip a try if your in Turkey and stay at the Lukka hotel.

Well, if i have to scale this hotel between 1-10 it is something like 9.8. the height could be a little problem for those who are afraid, and it is indeed a bit windy, but in summer, you really need that.

Perfect spot, perfect food, perfect quality. Me and my girlfriend went to jeep safari, it was amazing. there was also other activites that hotel provided, but we did not had the time, this summer we'll definetely come back!

Hotel staff, location was perfect. Kas is a wonderful city, Lukka was a impressive hotel! i dont have any critisicm to make, except the little time that i had, i will come back and spend more time at Lukka

Room Tip: We've stayed at couple's suite (have jacuzzi:), it was amazing. I recommend it to couples.

The hotel is in a fantastic position overlooking the bay and is ideal for laying around with a pina colada in hand. Lunch is good, breakfast is ok, no one has dinner. Service was friendly but not city hotel style, which is no bad thing, depending on your point of view.

We hired a car through Economy Car Rentals (very reasonable and excellent service) and drove from Dalaman to Kas. Very straightforward drive on a very good road.

Arrived at Lukka to find it is a good 4.5km out on the peninsular, with not a lot else around it except a couple of equally quiet hotels and sea! I had been expecting at least some shops/cafes/restaurants within walking distance, but that it definitely not the case.

The hotel looks exactly as it does on the website, so no disappointment there. It is absolutely stunning! However, be warned, this is not a place for anyone with the slightest mobility issue as there are steps and steps and steps on a very steep incline down to the sea/restaurant/pool. In fact so many steps that we never even made it down to the sea.

We had a suite (Room 11). This was totally unnecessary, but I was talked into it when booking, by being told that a garden room (the only other room available) was not suitable for a 2-week holiday. Not sure why this would be, but I guess they were having trouble booking out the suite? The suite consisted of a double bedroom, single bedroom and lounge area. The balcony was at the side of the property with a disappointing view so we hardly used it at all. There was no chest of drawers in either bedroom, so absolutely nowhere to unpack our t-shirts/underwear/bits and pieces apart from the rather small wardrobes.

The bathroom was absolutely lovely with an excellent shower, fluffy bathrobes and disposable slippers changed every couple of days.

One thing that threw us a bit was that the tv (big, flat screen) was in the living area, so we couldn't lounge in bed watching. Also, the tea and coffee making facilities, next to the tv, were in the eaves area of the room, so watch your head!

We had a sea view from our bedroom, but no balcony from that room.

The pool area was beautifully looked after, with a small bar where you can order snacks and drinks.

The restaurant, where we took breakfast was picturesque. Breakfast was very good, with lots of fresh fruit. However, why a hotel such as this does NOT offer freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast is a mystery. Oranges are everywhere in Turkey and fresh orange juice is so cheap to buy in cafes/bars - come on Lukka, don't spoil the experience with your imitation orange juice!

Now we come to the staff. They are all very young and consequently rather lacking in character/personality, with the exception of Abdullah, at the pool bar. Abu, as he is know, is charming and chatty; he is the only person who made any effort to engage with us and he should be commended for his people skills and excellent English. Tuba, on reception, is very pretty and speaks also speaks excellent English, but she is far too young and inexperienced for this position.

Most holiday hotels are keen to offer recommendations regarding places to go and things to do, to enhance your stay, but we were not offered any information about Kas or the surrounding area. We had heard that there were some Lycian tombs in Kas and asked where we could find them. Tuba did not know. However, we happened upon them by chance ourselves. I would suggest that the hotel could do a lot more to add to their guests experience of holidaying in the area.

All in all, the hotel is stunning, the staff are adequate, apart from Abu who is great! Breakfast is lovely (we didn't have dinner here), but I would say that this hotel is not really suitable for a 2-week holiday such as we had. It is too far from the town centre and has little else to offer but its beauty.

Room Tip: Make sure you book a room with a balcony looking out to sea at the poolside of the building.
