“A diamond in the diamond.”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

Bijout has been the stand out for food on my trip to turkey. A charming courtyard as the dining area of a house come restaurant. Viewing of traditional home Turkish cooking, in pleasant surroundings. Service with attitude adds to its character and charm. The owner of this establishment is a vivacious character and I loved her hosting techniques. Do try! We had some friendly ragdoll and Siamese cats.

“Small garden of delicatesse!”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

Bijout Boutique Cafe in Kas( Antalya) is a hidden garden of special tastes! The owner Ms. Sevgül has her own delicate touch of each plate in the menu. The mezze plates, fishes and home made MANTI( Turkish ravioli) are worth to try. They serve good quality of wine. If you visit Kas, spend an evening here! Not too expensive.

“Authentic, friendly and delicious”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

This was the very nice and intimate courtyard with the 4 tables that made us enter the Bijout restaurant and we are very glad we did !
The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming.
The dishes were exquisite, particularly the lamb casserole and the entire fish served with fresh and tasty vegetables. The dishes are both delicate and family kitchen.
We were the last customers for the night and we discussed with the lovely owner for over an hour, it was a great pleasure to talk about the Turkish culture with such a nice host.
This is the place to go when you stay in Kas with your love ones.

“Fresh quality ingredients with no BS - if you want love and affection go eat home.”
Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

Situated at a remotish corner of the old town (ie 100 meters from the town center), this establishment which is housed in an old traditional building brings to mind "cute". The rather limited menu would have you think "ok... next", until you see locals (like moi!) seeming to have a good time. 4 tables, some larger than others, offer enough space to avoid overcrowding. Not that it could harbour more tables. The owner, manager and cook of this establishment, a rather serious looking lady, cooks on her own, sometimes with the help of another graceful lady that serves the dishes. All is freshly prepared, raw dishes like salads washed and cleansed to the last foreign organism, so they shine like kryptonite if green. SO DO NOT COMPLAIN IF YOUR FOOD IS LATE AS SHE WONT RUSH IT...instead eat your bread and butter and order some local olive oil antres to enjoy your intro with some pretty surprisingly good local wine. Better still visit another restaurant to see the difference in quality of ingredients. Everything is fresh, and if not, they don't serve it. Be accompanied and entertained by 3 exotic cats from siam and God knows where, and let the fish in the oven appease your taste buds. Note: call them to ask for specialties e.g "incik". Recommended for the patient soul.

“A beautiful little courtyard with a great bohemian vibe”
Reviewed August 6, 2013

A beautiful little courtyard with a great bohemian vibe and effortless style: jazz plays; a cool grey-blue cat (he knows he’s cool and beautiful) stretches and yawns; the kitchen is open. Rose prepares your plates individually so they may not arrive all at the same time, but who cares, you’re here because you want to enjoy time running at a different scale. The dishes are prepared with love and care and are delicious. Chill out; relax; enjoy.
