“excellent week”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2012

Really fantastic hotel, helpful staff, breakfast delicious. Excellent value for money. Clean and tidy. I had the optional extra at 3tl each of fresh orange juice with my fresh bread, butter and honey each morning, followed by some salad. There was cereal, yougurt with cherries, lots of choices of meat and cheese, pastries and cake. Having read previous reviews on here i was expecting lots of eggs at breakfast, and not much else, but this was not the case at all. There were boiled eggs there if you wanted them, but lots of other choices too. Not the place to go if you want an english cooked breakfast would be my guess of the unsatisfied customers in previous reviews.
The safe was free to use. The reception lady happily booked my hamam turkish bath and massage at a nearby hotel, and changed the booking as the group going grew and we had the recommendation on the grapevine to 'book the lady masseur).
Hopefully i'll be back again next year. Room 102.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. We really enjoyed our stay - the room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little small, but nothing that bothered us that much. Our room had a little terrace that had a nice view.

The internet worked for about half of our stay - there was a storm that caused problems with the wifi the first night.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. They called our diving instructor to make sure that our trip was still running, since it had been storming earlier in the morning. One of the guys that worked at the hotel even dropped us at the bus stop our second morning when we were on our way to the beach - he stopped at a local bakery and helped us pick out some snacks for the day.

I would definitely come back - the price was very reasonable. The breakfast was also really good. Bread, cheese, cucumbers, some meats and olives. You can buy an omelette for an extra 5 lira, but I never saw any reason to. They also had these tasty cheese rolls our second morning.

It was kind of a trek to get to the hotel from the bus stop. However, it kind of seems like all of the hotels are located in the same area, so you will probably have this issue wherever you stay. They did offer to pick us up, but we didn't have a phone to call them with on our arrival.

Hopefully will be returning someday!

Pros
- Very helpful and friendly staff. They answered all our questions about what to do in Kas
- Free breakfast - cereal, coffee, boiled eggs, cucumber, and a bunch of other yummy stuff
- They will drive you to the bus station free of charge
- Stunning view from the top floor (and our room's terrace also)
- Clean rooms

Cons
- It's on a hill, so if you're walking there it could get tiring
- Internet wasn't totally reliable (I think due to a storm the earlier day), BUT they did let us use their laptop to look something up so that wasn't a big deal

Other notes
- The price was just right and I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Great value hotel with an amazing large terrace on 4th floor where the restaurant is situated. Incredible views over Kas and the ocean. We spotted turtles in the sea below, fish, and loved watching the boats coming and going from the port. Only a short 5 min walk down into town or the small pebble beach or 500km along to Big Pebble Beach. Lovely clean swimming pool too. We had a few hot water issues, even with running the shower for 10 minutes as instructed first. Sometimes the hot water would come through but other times it wouldn't, in which case they would turn the electric hot water on (moving off the solar water circuit) and we would then get hot water. It always pay to ask for what you need. The price is very affordable and we would return if ever back this way. Staff were friendly and helpful with some speaking very good English. Good buffet breakfast with both Turkish and yoghurt and cereals. All they need to do is put in a toasting machine so I can have toast next time for breakfast instead of fresh bread which is what you get everywhere in Turkey. The hotel does get a bit of internal noise as there are no carpets anywhere, only hard flooring which means that people talking in the corridor and slamming their doors, people walking around in the restaurant overhead of floor 3 etc is quite loud but that's what I bring earplugs for when I am travelling :-)

Room Tip: a room with a small balcony overlooking the sea is well worth asking/paying for. The view is stunni...
