Just returned from Kas - I have been going to Kas since 1994 and can honestly say this is some of the best food ive ever eaten.. including the days when Evys was still open... Lovely relaxed atmosphere.. youre never rushed and allowed to enjoy the food and the great view from the terrace overlooking the square.. We were in Kas for 10 nights in July and ate here 3 times.. Chef/Proprietor who trained in London.. and it shows.. Great service from his staff too .. made to feel like old friends.. We had Sea Bass, Beef Stroganoff(with a sauce made specially due to allergies) Fillet Steak, Chicken Ceaser Salad and the most gorgeous slow cooked Leg of Lamb and home made Lemon Sorbet to name a few.. Never had a bad meal here.. If youre in Kas make sure you get to this restaurant at least once.

we were in kas for 2 nights and ate here both nights. by this time of our trip, we had decided that when we found a good restaurant we wouldn't spend time looking for a another one. I had a delicious chicken Caesar salad, both nights, wonderful to have something familiar after 2 weeks on the road. my husband had a burger one night that he said was a 10 out of 10, with a lovely tarragon soup and tender beef stroganoff the other night. the cold bean salad and spicy gazpacho soup for the meze were delightful. we sat overlooking the main town square and watched the children playing and families strolling. this place has been open for 4 years and is one of the top restaurants. we came because of looking on trip advisor. a bit difficult to find and hard to figure out that it is a restaurant. it is on the main square. the sign on the sidewalk is in front of a shoe/purse store. one has to go into the door on the right and up steep stairs. there is indoor and outdoor seating. the cooks are friendly as was our server. the bored young lad who leaned against the podium on the sidewalk wouldn't attract many customers, I wouldn't think. the restaurant beside them have a sign up on the 2nd floor, if ratatouille did the same possibly that might help get people's attention? there were no other customers there the first night and only 2 couples for dessert the 2nd night. do go, the food is great, good view, and attentive service!

We were pleasntly surprised by this little place. For a start there were linen napkins!! The service was excellent and the menu, as presented was god. However. Two of the main dishes were off and of the specials, one was for two people only, thus cutting the choice down further .
We both chose the fish cakes, which came with a spicy sweet chutney, as opposed to tartare sauce. Not a problem, it went very well. But John Torode would have had a fit. Never mind one, my wife found two big fish bones in one of her cakes, which should never happen with hand made fish cakes.
All in all, not perfect, but it could so easily have been.
A final word of caution. There would appear to be problems with their usual access from the street which issealed off. Ingress is now via an inside room with a staircase which might be better described as a ladder. It might present a problem to those not too steady on their feet.

Went there with 7 friends for dining. The restaurant staff is well organised and kind. The food is delicious and unique. The chief who is the owner visited our table and give brief info about the foods and the ingredients. Thanks again for that wonderful night at that cute balcony!

I went there with my girlfriend and we were both satosfied. Gazpacho soup is not as good as we tried in Spain but fish and salad were excellent. The traditonal french meal Ratatoille was also good. Price was 125 TL with a bottle of wine. So it was a nice experience.
