I was able to make a visit this year. The market has villagers selling the stuff they made at home, like olive oils in plastic water cans. I bought olive oil, honey and red pepper flakes. All the stuff i bought came out to be great, we are still enjoying the tasty olive oil dipping bread into it.
Only thing you should be careful here is tourist traps. You should avoid is tricky villagers that give you tourist prices. Ask prices and see overal market pricing before buying stuff. Also Be sure you taste or smell stuff you buy. Then you will be ok.
