I found it very unnecessary. Nothing special, no added value. Even not a good example of tukish meatballs. Wouldnt try again.

I tried them when I was looking for a cheaper alternative to restaurants in town. I ate their speciality pideli kofte. It is a special very soft meatballs that are put on pide and marinated with tomato sauce and butter. I like the taste so much that I thanked the cook for the great work. I ate there later again and discovered that their normal meatballs are also great. Price? The meatballs and drink together was less than 5 euro!

We travelled all over Turkey and had dozens of Kofte this was EASILY the best.

An adorable husband and wife team make you feel super welcome.

Super super yum and wonderfully cheap, cant recall the exact price but we were really broke back packers at that stage, and we ate there every night.. Wish I could go back there now!!

Opposite the Sun Estate Office, just off the tree-lined square where that very nice man will smilingly take your car keys and park your car for you, (happily returning them at the end of the evening - no, really...) is what was described on another travel review site as "Turkey's best Kofte house". My wife and I finally discovered it right at the end of our holiday, and will definitely be back when we return to Kas. The menu is restricted (from what I could tell), pretty well to 2 items, both variations on kofte and prepared rapidly, expertly and very tastily. Deli Kofte is tiny, with seating on the pavement for approximately 8 but the husband and wife team who own it do remarkable things in that very small space. It's not a place to linger over your meal - we must have been there for all of 30 minutes, and within 30 seconds of our departure the table was cleared, relaid and 2 more salivating customers were already about to tuck into the next kofte treat. The night we were there the wife was cooking while her other half waited on tables, in a charming, idiosyncratic and slightly nervous way - think a Turkish Woody Allen crossed with Iggy Pop. The food was astoundingly good - and excellent value, every element beautifully prepared and simply presented. Try it.
