“Lovely hotel that's full of Brits”
Reviewed September 14, 2012

This hotel has fresh construction and a modern style that befits the Mediterranean view. Beware, it is as far out on the peninsula as can be so it requires time and fortitude to navigate the roads which ends in a high grade hill where the hotel rests at the very very bottom. Some of the elderly patrons required lifts on motor scooters to get to the top! Speaking of the clientele, there was one other young couple but otherwise the hotel was primarily elderly Brits who would stake out their spot on the terrace at breakfast and relax there all day.

The view is quite amazing and the breakfast was comprehensive including eggs how you like them. The room was spacious with long mirrors, a patio, and a multi-head shower.

Room Tip: Its okay to get the cheapest room despite the "ocean view" being a sliver from the patio w...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. As you rightly say the hotel has magnifcent views and people come here to relax, unwind and get away from it all. I would just like to point out that we have all nationalities visiting the hotel. Looking at our guest list from the last week in August 2012 till September 16th 2012, the date of your review, we have had guests from America, Australia,Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Holland, New Zealand, Spain, Turkey and of course Great Britain. During the season we will had guests from many other countries as well. Obviously during certain weeks there will be more of one nationality than another and this is to be expected.

The guests are of varying ages as well and everyone over the age of 14 is welcome at the hotel. For the elderly or infirm we do try to help by conveying them up the hill by car or by scooter (if they prefer the novelty element!). All our rooms have sea views and even the ground floor side rooms have views of the Greek Island of meis and the sea. The management team are happy that you enjoyed your holiday and found everything to your satisfaction.

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks in July and we were delighted with our experience. The staff treated us like family and could not do enough for us. The views from our hotel balcony were amazing. The food was excellent. While the hotel is situated out at the end of the peninsula road , there is a Dolmus bus which arrives punctually every half hour to take one to the centre of Kas. We made daily use of it and thoroughly enjoyed the night life in Kas. Had we any gripes? well there is a steep hill to negotiate when leaving the hotel to get the Dolmus but we are in our late 50's and in 40degrees of July heat managed it ok, and the view from the hotel well cancels this inconvenience out. All in all we would give a resounding thumbs up to this hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms with a sea view in this hotel are a must.

Hotel is located at the tip of Cukurbag peninsula of Kas.Beautiful view, enjoyed the food and tranquility. Its a 12 room hotel, run by 6 people. Fikri is the guy who cooks, and manages the hotel. In short I absolutely recommend the hotel Cachet.

An idilic spot on the end of the Kas peninsula. This hotel has an outlook over an incredible vista.
The staff are friendly and helpful and make you feel at home.
The food at the restaurant was exceptional and very competitively priced.
The pool is always spotless.
The town centre of Kas is a 10 min bus ride. The bus comes very regularly (every 30mins) and is cheap (2.50 TL). Alternatively you can taxi (20 TL).
The rooms are large, modern and very clean.
The cocktails are amazing, some of the best we've ever had (especially the mojito).
Swimming is quite safe in the sea off the rocks, provided you consider the sea conditions.
Over all this hotel and its staff made for a very relaxing time and we would recommend it to anyone.

We spent three nights at this wonderful hotel. Everything was just right. The staff: Fikri, Blunt (spelling??) and others made us feel so welcome with their friendliness, hospitality and help. The room was spacious and well-appointed even though a room with a view would have been better. The pool, access to swimming in the sea, the eating area with spectacular views and the restaurant all provided my wife and I with one of our most relaxing and enjoyable travel experiences. Whilst the hotel is situated about ten minutes out of Kas, buses run every half hour from the top road. If one of the staff is available they will drive you to the bus stop. We were even driven into the bus station in town on the day that we left. The fact that there are only 12 rooms also makes for a more personal atmosphere. We will be back.

My girlfirend and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owner, the staff and the Chef are great. Everyone wants to make sure you have a great experience. The restaurant is one of the best (if not the best) food we had in Turkey and prices are very honnest. We ate there twice and were only 2 or 3 couples at a time. The chef always came to make everything was perfect.
The pool area and bar are great and the view is amazing, I would advise to get a sea view room.
I recommand to everyone that want to relaxe or have a good diner to step by. In fact, I already recommended to my parents and collegues.
It was a pleasure to meet you guys, merci pour tout!

My family and I had dinner at Hotel Cachet while staying in a villa across the street. The meal was incredible - excellent variety of cuisines and flavours. We were particularly impressed with our meals arriving on a flaming plate (it kept the food steaming hot) and the tomato lanterns. The owner was extremely helpful and gave us many suggestions about the surrounding area plus offered us the option of using the pool and water-front swimming area even though we were not hotel guests! It was the off-season when we visited so the place was very quiet and a new waiter was being trained during our meal but the service was still excellent! Highly highly recommend!
