everything was just great! the rooms, the atmosphere, the incredible view, the great clean turqouise-blue sea, the SERVICE ******, the meals, especially the breakfast which mostly consisted of self made food - marmelade, gözleme, pohca, bread (organic marmelades of every fruit available in the mediteranean area) fresh fruits. Everybody was very kind and willing to help especially Mrs Sema who gave us a case of her fig marmelade to take home to Austria :-) and also the waiters and the other staff! Even extra wishes were fulfilled without demanding any extra payment.
Tesekkürler Lycia hotel! We'll come back!

Have just recently had a wonderful stay here in this lovely hotel. It is a family run establishment which gives the place a lovely homely feel. From the time we booked Mehmet was help ful and pointed us in the direction of some lovely restaurants in Kas and organised us a lovely boat trip to Kekova. We stayed in the panorama suite which had a fabulous view across to the island of Meis. It was lovely to sit in the hot tub with a glass of wine and just while away the time. There was a nice deck area with two beds to relax on and read a book or just to have a snooze.

It was fairly quiet time in the hotel, but that was lovely. The staff at the hotel were excellent and service always of a high standard. A special shout to Mustafa who was lovely and made excellent coffee. Breakfast was a large banquet of cheeses and olives and fresh vegetables and beautiful homemade conserves. Each day a different addition was presented like cheese pasties or fresh watermelon. My partner likes muesli and Mary made sure there was some available every morning which was so nice....

The room was cleaned each day and always fresh clean towels, the shower room was a hamam which was a heated shower room. The walls and floor were heated. The room had a large comfortable bed which was great. The air con was nice when the weather was a little warm.

It was about 7km to the main town, so you really did need car, although I'm told a dolmas went by every hour. I think if you have a problem with mobility then there would be difficulties for some to get around. There is a very steep hill to come down to the hotel and it takes some skill to drive up it. You feel like you are in a rocket about to be launched into space when you are at the bottom waiting to drive up..you will know what I mean if you get the chance to stay here. There were a lot of steps down to the sea but it was lovely down there although there were some decoration of the facilities at this time so it did restrict our visits.

We also had some really nice meals in the hotel and in the centre of Kas, we did like the hospitality and friendliness of the Cinnalar restaurant. Prices were good although we did find the alcoholic drinks expensive so we had a fairly dry holiday, but it did seem appropriate as we're were in a Muslim country.

I really couldnt find a fault about the place although sometimes the wind did rattle the folding sun shade on the balcony and did wake us up in the middle of the night as it was rather windy at times.

I would thoroughly recommend the place to stay, it was a pleasure to stay in your lovely hotel. Thank you for your kind hospitality

We can't speak highly enough of the exceptional service we received from the team at the Lycia hotel. The hotel is immaculate with fantastic views of the sea. The food served at the restaurant was absolutely perfect - we had planned to eat out in Kas most of our stay but the fresh, locally sourced food served at the restaurant couldn't be beaten so we returned every night for dinner. The breakfasts are also amazing, with a vast choice of mezze served to you at your table, with barrista coffee and fresh orange juice. Mehmet arranged a private boat tour for us to view the sunken city - would really recommended this and the price is over reasonable. Would also recommend hiring a car for flexibility and visiting Kas market on Friday. A fantastic stay and must be the best in Kas from what we saw.

Room Tip: The penthouse apartment is with the extra cost with it's own jacuzzi

Loved everything about this place - the spacious, clean rooms, the comfortable bed, the great location atop the sea, the private beach area, and especially Mehmet, the most caring and friendly host you could possibly imagine. Baby cot was of excellent quality too. Pool area was very nice, altouh we were not able to use it - a little too cold in November. Be sure to bring your own transport though when travelling off season, as the restaurant may close down later in the evening.
Would definitely stay here again!

We have just spent 2 weeks (mid July) in Kas, Turkey and stayed at what is now the Lycia Boutique (Butik) Hotel. As we wanted to avoid the larger style hotels that are so prevalent in some of the larger resorts the Lycia was exactly what we needed.
From the first phone call to the hotel, the willing and helpful nature of the staff was evident. We wanted diving and boat trips and car rental etc etc and these were all taken care of before our arrival or immediately after.
The hotel is terrific - great staff, great views, good rooms, good food and I'll say it again about the helpful attitude, especially from Mehmet and Onur (not to underestimate the rest of the team).
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Family rooms can easily cope with 2 adults and 2 teens.

We have just returned to Australia after visiting Turkey and Iran. After much sight seeing and travelling around we decided to rest in Kas, where we found the Lycia hotel. our intention was to stay about 5 days but after 1 day we quickly decided to extend for 2 weeks, such is the atmosphere in this wonderful hotel. The rooms are light and airy, the pool and cabanas by the sea make for excellent relaxing and swimming. Onur and Mehmet made our stay so relaxed, organising efficiently and without fuss what ever we needed, whether that be parra gliding or pedicure in your room.
The breakfasts are fast becoming famous, however the dinners are also not to be dismissed.
Its an easy ride on the local bus, going into town every 30 minutes on the dot!!!
A special thanks to Onur for a wonderful stay, I musn't forget the rest of the staff who were all so friendly and helpful. Jude

The Lycia boutique hotel and the town of Kas were fantastic. We highly recommend both!

Room Tip: Tip: Upgrade to the family room, worth the 20 euros extra!
