“Just wonderful!”
Reviewed January 30, 2017 for a stay in May 2016

Villa Kahili was recommended to us by a friend - and we were so grateful! Beautifully presented, spacious, really clean and well maintained throughout the two weeks we were there (twice weekly cleaning and bed linen change) with a lovely out-door BBQ and eating area that was cleaned when the pool was daily. There is lots to do in Kalkan and although you are 10 mins walk up the hill from the resort the taxis are so cheap you can happily wander down the hill during the day/evening and get driven back uphill later on if you don't fancy the walk. We'd love to come back one day.

“Villa Kahili - a real gem of a villa!”
Reviewed October 24, 2016 for a stay in September 2016

This was our second visit to Villa Kahili and it was just wonderful to return, this time for 3 weeks. As per our previous visit everything was in order and ready for our arrival. We were delighted to find that a couple of suggested "it would be nice to have" items, had all been incorporated. The positioning of this villa provides fabulous views towards Mouse and Snake islands and some draw dropping sunsets, especially from the roof terrace. The pool is and surrounding area is spotless and cleaned daily and bedding / towels changed regularly.
The walk into town is about 15 mins but is pleasant and takes you past bars, banks (ATM m/c's). We cannot recommend this villa enough and will definitely be heading back there in the coming years.

“Excellent Villa”
Reviewed August 31, 2016 for a stay in August 2016

We have just spent 10 days in Kalkan at this lovely Villa. Sheila, the owner whom we dealt with, has furnished it and kitted it out so it is really comfortable and has everything you need. Little touches like a welcome pack were a bonus, and a much needed cup of Turkish tea after a long flight went down very well! Use of a washing machine was also great so we did not have to go home with suitcases for me to deal with full of dirty clothes (bonus!).
This is by far the nicest Villa we have stayed in in Kalkan in terms of everything being provided; Dishwasher, DVD's for the teens if they need to get out of the sun for a while, books to read, nice music on hand, and lots of cooking equipment as well. I even found a bluetooth speaker, but hid it from the teens over our stay in case we were bombarded all day with their music!
The pool is perfect, overlooking Kalkan with lovely planted areas around it, and it is just what is needed to cool down on hot days, and we loved the outdoor dining area for both day and night. We lived in this area most of the time as it is shaded, yet you can still see the lovely view of the sea. We ended up so relaxed that it hard to drag ourselves out and about sometimes.
Inside the villa, the bathrooms are especially impressive with large showerheads and lots of storage space. There is lots of space generally, and the master suite was beautiful.
The Kalkan/Villa guide left at the villa is really comprehensive. We already know Kalkan from prior years, but found new things to do and other new information very helpful in the folder. Sheila was really helpful with the booking and kindly arranged transfers for us that were very good.
Every morning and evening the pool was checked, plants watered and so on, and done very discreetly so we were not disturbed. When we did meet the gentleman who tended it, he was very sweet.
Kalkan is a lovely place to visit, and the villa is sited very near the centre, so it is an easy walk downhill in the evenings, and a very cheap taxi ride home at the end of the night if people don't want to walk uphill. We went on lots of boat trips and to Meis/Kas this year, and Kalkan is really well placed for exploring the surrounding areas.
Kalkn was very quiet this year compared to prior years and it was a shame to see the Turkish people and their businesses struggling as a result. I really hope that tourism picks up next year for them, as this is such a beautiful place with friendly locals and lots to do and see. We will definitely always have holidays in Kalkan and the surrounding areas, but I can safely say that I am over the handbags now (much to my husband's relief!)
