Went to Bread and More for a pizza and was very disappointed. All the reviews seemed good but there were only 3 other tables occupied so there was no atmosphere and we had a pizza each. The base was probably out of the freezer nod not sure here the toppings came from. The Turkish food served elsewhere seemed better but the flaming plate seemed to frighten one of the guests as the flames were quite high. There are lots of better places.
Nice view though.

We "discovered" Bread & More last year when we ate there on 3 occasions in a fortnight and we have eaten there again this year twice in a week. Soner, the owner, is a great guy with a ready wit. He makes you feel special and has a stock phrase of "anything is possible" if you ask for anything out of the ordinary. His Mezes are wonderful and the quality of his other food is excellent also. His wine is good value for Kalkan and although he has reduced the variety of wine stocked you will get a good bottle for a good price (compared with other Kalkan prices). My brother, my father and two of my daughters have also eaten (on separate occasions) at Bread & More earlier this year and all agree that this is a restaurant that you should visit if you are dining in Kalkan. It has become a family favourite and Soner plays a leading part in making it so.

This restaurant does excellent Turkish food and Soner is an excellent host. I recently visited Bread and More in a party of 9, including two grandchildren, a 3 year old and a 3 month old. We were made to feel extremely welcome. The meze here is to die for and quite honestly out of the 8 mains we ordered, all were delicious.

Staying at the Asfiya, we used Bread and More very often on our way back to hotel. We ate there several times, from lunch to evening and the food was always superb. Soner and his staff are lovely. One day my husband had a fancy for double egg and chips with baked beans (I know, don't even go there!!). Anyway, without a moment's hesitation up came the goodies and he reckoned they were better than home! Sandwiches are gorgeous and all come with accompanying garnish. Evening meals have a great selection. Prices are on a par with other establishments and the quality is very good. Soner has just received his Trip Advisor certificate and it is displayed proudly on the wall. He also is involved with the property market in Kalkan so, if you're thinking of buying a property, talk to him. The villas are stunning. Oh for a lottery win!! And definitely don't miss the cheesecakes - mmmmmmmmmmm

Stayed in Kalkan during August and September and stayed on the Kalamar road so we passed Bread and More two or three times a day. Visited several tmes during our visit and it was alway a pleasure. The owner, Sonar was always welcoming and cheerful as were the rest of his staff.

Went for evening dinner twice and several times for lunch and the food was always delicious. One of our party was not very ambitious when trying different foods but there was always a alternatif from the delicious turkish cuisine which the rest of us enjoyed. (She especially enjoyed the very large BLT sandwich)

I would recommend the 'Bread and More' speciality meatballs, best meatballs in Kalkan!!!

If you need sustinence to give you the energy to climb up the Kalamar Road try one on Sonar's chocolate ice cream or lemon and ice cream pancakes (delicious)

Did not have a bad meal in any of the restaurants in Kalkan but Bread and More difinately ticked all the boxes for us.
