We were tempted by this restaurant due to the idea of 'traditional Turkish dining'. The upstairs terrace comprises of low tables and cushions to sit on and the signs and manager boast "traditional Turkish cooking". However, once our meals were served it became blatantly clear that traditional means premade! The casserole was obviously freshly made in the kitchen but using prepackaged ingredients such as tinned mushroom and a save that had obviously come from a packet.
We ate what we could of our meals, quickly paid the bill and went elsewhere for a pizza.
This restaurant honestly had the potential to be one of the best in Kalkan purely for the novelty of eating in the traditional Turkish setting. However, if they want to improve then the 'traditional turkish cooking' should possibly actually be COOKED rather than heated up!
