Cheeky staff. Nice food, good location overlooking the harbor. We ate here a couple of time both at lunchtime so can recommend it for lunch. The meze to share was particularly tasty.

This restaurant has an excellent position just slightly raised above the harbour.
They served us a small dish free of charge before our starter, which was 2 very thinly sliced pieces of bread and some oil with Balsamic vinegar in it. We were little bit surprised at how minimal this looked, however the bread was slightly salty and tasted very nice with the oil and vinegar.
We then shared a starter of humus, which we both thought was excellent. It came with a very thin piece of unleavened bread, which was still warm, and was absolutely delicious.
My wife then had The calves liver; she asked for it medium rare, but the waiter said she should have it medium! She reluctantly agreed, however when the liver arrived it was very tough. Full marks for the favour though, but it was very chewy. In a UK restaurant it would have been sent straight back but we thought that perhaps this was the way it was served in Turkey. I had 4 jumbo prawns with potato wedges however they were not what I would call Jumbo, I would call them king-size. There were only two potato wedges, which was a bit minimal! however, the sauce was delicious. We then had the chocolate surprise, the surprise being that it was 20 minutes late. However, they did explain that the chef had misheard the order and only cooked one, hence the delay!
The only other problem we had was that only two of the waiters really understood good English, and it was difficult talking to the others. the meal cost 173 lire plus we added 17 lire service charge making 190 lire this is the third most expensive meal we had in Kalkan and was not brilliant value for money.
