We stayed at the Samira Garden Hotel in September and what a real gem this hotel is! The hotel is spotless with the rooms cleaned every day as well as fresh towels everyday. The staff especially Nazan are very friendly and will do anything to make sure you have a pleasant stay, there's even homemade cake! Whilst staying at their sister hotel last year we came across this hotel which is smaller but much nicer, there's always spare sunloungers around the lovely pool area. The hotel is in the perfect posistion for all the fabulous restaurants bars and beach clubs of Kalkan. We were only home 3 days when we booked again for next year!!

Room Tip: Rooms on the ground floor share a patio, rooms on higher floors are larger with their own balconies.

We really enjoyed our 2 weeks in September at the Samria Garden Hotel. It's a small but very friendly place to stay, the staff were extreemly helpful(hope JJ is happy with is new bride) with Naz, the manageress, having her hat parties and making cakes. We met some very interesting people when we were having our breakfast on the roof top terrace. This hotel is well placed being within a short walk to all the shops, resturaunts, town beach and the habour for the little ferry boats that take you to the beach clubs. The evening meals are very good and well priced but have to be ordered approx. an hour in advance.
We will return to beautiful Kalkan and the Samira Hotel.

Room Tip: Don't accept room 101

just returned from 2 weeks at samira garden. Only small hotel absolutely great time. Staff were really great and couldn't do enough for you . Special thanks to naz, hassan , ehtiram and jj. Hotel very clean and ideally placed for everything. Met loads of nice people who helped to make our holiday enjoyable. This is out second time in kalkan previously stayed at the number one ranked hotel but in my opinion the samira garden is a better option enjoyed it that much already booked for next year can't wait.

We stayed at the Samira Garden for 2 weeks in August - we got a really cheap deal with Thomas Cook and having visited Kalkan before we knew the hotel was really well placed for town etc and in a lovely area. The rooms were cleaned every day and the roof terrace where you have breakfast had great views. The hotel is simple but has everything you need and has a lovely pool area and bar with a terrace looking into town. We were staying B&B as there are so many places to eat in town and the breakfast was fine. The staff were very friendly and generally the atmosphere of the hotel was relaxed - there were things like BBQ nights but you were free to join in or not - so no pressure. The only disapointment was that we only had a tiny balcony - no room for a chair even - but actually not too bad as we had just booked one room for us and our son but we got a room with 2 bedrooms and seperate bathroom so lots of space! I would reccoment this hotel as it is extremely good value and really relaxed and in a fantastic spot in town.

Room Tip: Some rooms have big balconys etc - worth checking when you book

Just returned from a week at the Samira Garden hotel. It is a lovely, small, spotlessly clean hotel set in a really good spot in Kalkan. We had a double room which was reasonable in size. The shower, however, was a bit erratic in terms of the water temperature but we got used to it eventually! We ate breakfast every day in the hotel and found it adequate for our needs, plenty of fresh fruit, usually water melon, cheeses, olives and lovely bread. We did not eat at night in the hotel as there were so many lovely restaurants to choose from. There is a really nice pool and plenty of sunbeds for everyone so no need for the towels to be put in place hours before anyone actually uses them! Just one more thing, the staff are lovely and really helpful. I would have no hesitation on staying at the Samira Garden again.

Arrived here for a 2 week stay, was greeted after a tedius transfer with a cup of coffee at 430 am which was nice, after this we were taken to our room which was large with a double bed and a single one.......but beware not all the rooms are large and some people were not happy and changed rooms. It was spotlessly clean with a nice balcony with only a very feint sea view. We went half board but only used it about six times firstly because the food was not outstanding and because kalkan has loads of brillient restaurants, on from this breakfast was turkish and was very poor if you went down at 9 30 very often there was little left and the chef was reluctent to top things up which wound me up, some mornings there were no clean cups and no coffee..anything extra you wanted had to be paid for even water....Also a word of warning the showers either came out cold or boiling hot i was scalded twice, its only a matter of time before someone with children is going to get injured......despite all this i would say Naz the manageress and here staff were fantastic arranging hat parties, a barbacue on wednesdays and a cake night to introduce new guests to others we made loads of friends, but if this is nt your scene you dont have to get involved..i would stay again because the atmosphere was so good but i would ring before to make sure i got the same room.....kalkan as a resort has everything, after going to greece for 20 years we were worried about going to turkey but the people in kalkan are super friendly and you are not dragged in places all the time...unless you go to the market...there are nice shops excellent restaurants, lovely harbour, nice shops and it is still cheap there is something for everyone theres even a club if you want to be more rowdy, patara beach is also worth going to about 7 miles long with sand dunes and a cafe ..good food...and an easy bus journey this holiday was so good we stayed on an extra week arranging new flights and accomadation......

The hotel was very very clean and the staff couldn't do enough to help. Situation was great for the town and all amenities. Pool was never crowded and enough sun loungers and shades. Breakfast a bit limited in choice and had to pay to keep room until 6p m for an 8p m transfer. Would go back again despite these minor faults

Room Tip: Ask for room 302 it has a jacuzzi!!!!!
