My family and I stayed at the Delphin Palace from June 23 to July 3. Our experience started off bad. At check in we were given a " unique" family room, which had a sea view overlooking the pool area. What we were not told is that this was a smaller family room, one bedroom with a queen and another bedroom with a twin. A problem since we were traveling with our two children. A roll away bed was provided which solved that problem. Unfortunately the room overlooked the Amphitheater, which has very loud show going on until approx. 10:45pm, no good when your children are used to going to sleep at a reasonable time (9-9:30pm). We tried to change rooms that night but were told to come back the next morning, when we did we were told we came too late and to come back tomorrow. On the third day we were moved to a regular family suite on the 5th floor and on the side of the hotel. The regular family suites are bigger than the " unique" , so don't take any offers to upgrade to " unique". Unbelievable the difference. No noise from the music and our kids were happy, which made us happy. Now to the positives of this hotel which are many. The pool area is big and great. Pools are clean and there are roller blading hosts that get you anything you desire and very quickly. The buffet restaurant can be summed up in several words, incredible, wonderful, and wow are just a few. We were shocked by the quantity and quality of the food in the buffet. Everyday, three times per day, there were different foods to try and more than anyone could eat. The hotel is all inclusive and they really mean it. Everything from the food to soda and alcoholic drinks were free. There were many snack shacks all around the property with diverse food option and drink options. Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms were very clean and the house keeping did a good job every day. One day we decided to eat at a a la carte restaurant specializing in Turkish food and I must say it was delicious. There is also plenty of shopping around the hotel. The beach was ok, but we stuck to the pool area for most of the day. Most importantly, if you have any problems go to Guest Relations not the reception.

Room Tip: First floor rooms are smaller than others, so try to get a high floor. Also if you are traveling wit...

Stayed here end of May in a large group of 12. It's a wonderful resort, with excellent facilities, which never felt crowded or too busy with plenty of sunbeds to go round.

The food, in terms of of availability and quality was fantastic and both my two young children were consistently happy with the choices available even in the a la carte restaurants. My only recommendation would be to allow large tables like ourselves to book a table for dinner in buffet restaurant in the evening as you do feel slightly guilty when you start re arranging the furniture.
The evening shows and entertainment staff were great, and the beach party amazing.
Service wise I thought again it was excellent, the staff we're friendly, helpful and great with the children. English is not their first language, but theirs is better then my Turkish and we never had any communication problems to speak of (pardon the pun).

Our room, was large and airy and my only criticism was that the patio door need to be refitted for a tighter fit. Air con was one of the quietest I've ever come across.

Basically it was fantastic and one of the best holidays we've ever had.
Thank you Delphin Palace!

Just returned from a fabulous 2 week stay at the Delphin Palace Hotel, we have stayed there before and the standards and service are still excellent. The staff work really hard to make your holiday the best ever. The hotel is kept extremely clean and the grounds are beautiful. FOOD, well there is just too much to choose from and it's all delicious, WARNING, serious dieting may be required on return!!

Room Tip: we had a room on the 8th floor, the view was spectacular.

We dont normally go to any hotel in the world more than once. But find ourselves being drawn back to the Palace every few years as it is just what we are looking for.

Good food, friendly, helpful staff and plenty to keep the children happy.

It was our 10th wedding anniversary so we travelled without the children for the first time. So we got to see it from a couples perspective rather than a family one and found it just as good.

We arrived and where checked in quickly and greeted with a smile and noted we were repeat guests and asked if we needed any information, we didnt, so were in our room within minutes.

Our room was on the 5th floor with a side sea view overlooking the imperial and obviously the sea. Mini bar was restocked daily and room cleaned to a high standard with some lovely towel art being left most days.

We found a spot we liked and settled down next to the main pool but the top section near the entrance to the indoor pool.

We chose this spot as the relax pool we find too quiet, the bottom end of the activity pool too noisy but here was just right, we could hear some of the music and sound of the fun with the animation team but without it being too in your face.

We managed to get this spot daily and weren't always up early and always saw plenty of free sunbeds despite the hotel filling up considerably to almost capacity after our first couple of days.

Around the pool staff come round regularly with either fresh fruit or carrot and cucumber they will peel for you, also staff on roller blades who will take your drinks order so if you fancy a lazy day, you really need not move from your lounger.

Food during the day is a plenty, there is the restaurant , the snack bar, Ice cream counter, waffles, gozleme, fresh made pizza, donner kebab, chicken kebab and other things I cant quite remember there is so much!

In the evening there is the main Buffet which we like to sit outside, and now they have put on a retractable roof and some glass panels it can be used all year and also stops the birds coming in.

The buffet has an extensive range of choices of hot and cold food, kids corner ,diet corner,so many types of fresh fish you can choose and have cooked in front of you. Normally a carvery of somesort as well as all the other dishes, definitly something for everyone.

There are also 7 a la cartes and we made more use of these this time as we didnt have the children. There is the Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, French, Italian, Turkish and Fish.

We enjoyed the Chinese and the Mexican best, the italian was also nice.

The restaurants dress policy was enforced as well which is good, I did see people in sports/beach wear being turned away from the buffet and men without long trousers being turned away from the a la cartes.

Drinks- Bottled water is available in fridges and cool boxes all around the hotel and the pool and pier as are other soft drinks and and a large range of juices and slushes.

Bottled Effes light and normal is also available at most bars and bottled becks at a couple.
Spirits, International we saw, Johnnie Walker, Absolut vodka, Tia Maria, Malibu, Gordons Gin but the rest were locally produced but not as bad as some places I have been such as Egypt.

Almost all bars and the disco have the branded spirits but you will need to ask for them at certain bars as they arent always visible.

Cocktails were good, I enjoyed the mojitos and pretty much tried all the menu and enjoyed most but do think a staff training day for consistency might be an idea as they were never the same I found.

Entertainment we found this to be the biggest improvement, last visit we found it to be good but not great, they now bring in many different acts from all over the world and really enjoyed all the shows. There was an Ice skating show, a team of roller bladers and bmx bikers doing stunts and jumps, on gala night there was like a acrobatic show, Brazillian style samba dancing and synchronised swimmers in the pool, also a fire breathing show with some other acts also.

Before the shows there was the mini disco for the kids with popcorn and candyfloss.

They also have a beach party every other Thursday and this is a lot of fun, after the show everyone goes down to the beach, is greeted with cocktails then a they do a short show before they light the bonfire and the DJ plays some music and everyone dances and they start up a foam cannon and literaly cover everyone and the whole beach in 4ft of foam. Lots of fun as long as your over 4ft!! Some of the kids were disappearing, but the animation team were all on hand to keep an eye on safety.
They also had a bar on the beach and the party went on until the small hours.

The animation team were always around playing games but were very sensitive towards guests and there wasnt any hassling to take part. They announced the activity and then just got on with it. Which was nice as I have been to some hotels where they try and drag you up.

One of the activities was human tble football, where you are inside a giant blow up football table, strapped to the poles and everyone in your row must move together like in real table football. This was great and always drew big crowds.

To summarise, I love coming to the Delphin because you can do as much or as little as you please. The staff work hard and even though they have to speak many languages we didnt ever find this to be a barrier and always managed a chat and got correct drinks etc.
The choices of drinks and food is vast and 24/7 room service is also included between 00.00-06.00

You dont need to spend a penny as everything is included.

The pools are always clean and floor has been re-laid since our last visit. There are also many of the same staff and they always have a smile and a joke which is good and shows they are happy and relaxed in their work.

Management are always around asking for what can be improved and act on it.

A great hotel were the staff care and make sure you enjoy yourself I think the biggest praise anyone can give a hotel is by returning and at the repeat guest cocktail party there were plaques being given out to people who had stayed 10, 15, 22 and 30 times!!! The hotel only opened in 2005!!! They must almost live there but it shows how hard they work to ensure customers a happy.

We were going to try the Delphin Imperial but after spending most afternoons over there we think it may just be that bit to big for our family, you feel safe to let the children wander round the Palace, you would never find them at the imperial!! Although I must say it is a beautiful hotel and there is a great little Irish pub with some great cocktails and the childrens slide and pool area is also top notch just a little impersonal due to the size. We still may try it, who knows.

We will be back soon Delphin Palace...............

My husband and I went for a relaxing time and that is exactly what we had.We found all staff extremely sociable, I think learning basic turkish words does help, and they seemed to appreciate that you have triied. The food was plentiful, canapes starters and desserts could have been more chilled in my opinion but others got tucked in and did not seem to mind.I felt every one was treat the same. whatever your nationality was. This is a family hotel so noise and child like behaviour is to be expected. We were lucky that we could spend our time at the relax pool where it is quiet, but we also ventured to all pools and beach which are also good. The alcarte restaraunts are easy to book the mexican and chinese was our favourites if you are not sure what to order ask the senior waitor for suggestions. The room we had was basic, on the 5th floor partial sea view overlooking relax pool hence it was peaceful. I will reiterate the comments re mosquitoes this is the first time I have ever been attacked by these blighters so call to see your chemist before you fly. All in all a good holiday where we laughed with new friends, and returned relaxed and guess what we even managed to bring back the sun with us.

Room Tip: room 5129 over looking relax pool is quiet this is located on 5th floor

I stayed here with my husband and 3 year old son from 13th -20th June and the hotel was recommended to me by a friend.
On arrival we were quite disappointed. We did not receive a very warm welcome. Just a quick check in and then the keys to our room. In other places we have had a welcome drink and then someone has sat down with us and explained where everything is and what facilities there are. This would have been very helpful as the hotel is huge and as a result we had no idea where anything was or what food was available. We also enquired about upgrading but were told by a very rude manager that nothing was available.
Also on the first few days, we found hardly anyone who spoke any English. It seems that mostly German and Russian are spoken the most. Again we found this really hard and basically had to figure out for ourselves everything that was available.
On the plus side, the rooms were clean, the facilities are very good especially for children. If you want a cabana on the beach, you will have to bag it very early. It is highly competitive to get one but the pool ones are fine.
The food is good and the a la carte restaurants are a nice idea although again we were given the wrong food due to language barriers.
All in all, a good hotel, but would I go back here? I think not

Dear Has33;

We appriciate your taking time and writing your positive and negative feedbacks. You mentioned that you had not have a good welcome and we think it is due to intensity as in high season sometimes it can happen. We still keep teaching english to our staff as it is very imortant for us and as it is international language. We would be glad and would be appriciate to serve you here again. We never want you to leave our hotel with bad emotions.. We are looking forward to seeing you again.

Stayed from20-27th June 2013. We are a well travelled young married couple and have stayed In many five star ai resorts. I am shocked to see the reviews over past week!! We had fabulous time at this hotel.
We were shown promptly to a large 4 bedded room (only two of us) with sea view (had not paid for this). Room was clean And in keeping with hotel. Free mini bar. Beds were most comfortable I've ever experienced (excluding America).
Drinks selection was excellent and huge amount of choice of food! Easy to get into all al la carte restaurants. We were a little disappointed as we had read a la cartes were adults only... This is incorrect!
Buffet food was of v high standard! But spoilt for us by being like a zoo, with ill behaved children running circles around our table and picking up food with fingers from buffet. We found a la carte much more relaxing. I feel they need adults only section in buffet.
Lovely swimming pools and quiet adults only one. Lovely big beach with pier. Service around pool was hit and miss but generally good.
Excellent entertainment and numerous bars open in evening. They invest Alot of time, effort and money into this.

Make sure u take mosquito repellent. I have never been bitten In my life but I am sporting around 20 bites on one leg!!

Lots of activities but they do not constantly pester u!

Really enjoyed our week at this hotel and would recommend it! Just a few minor tweaks needed. Good value for money! Would go back in the future!
