We have just returned from a two week stay at the Delphin Palace Hotel Lara Beach Antalya, this hotel is the best we have stayed at in Turkey so far, their staff our some of the best that we have ever been looked after by & it has been a pleasure to meet them, nothing was ever to much trouble, there are also some staff who will go that bit further for you so much so you feel you are with friends, we found three such people in a very good lobby bar team Melek & Teoman along with Tekin from the pool bar team, there are others who were very good from the restaurants & pool areas along with a good Animation team, the Customer Relation team were also very good.
The hotel areas & our room were well laid out with good AC throughout which was needed as the temperature reached 51, NOTE the only fault that we think people should be aware of is the bath/shower in our room was very high due to the shower screen being mounted on top of the bath this made it very hard to get in & out of without slipping, the shower screen also prevented there being any secure hand holds which could be a problem for some people other than that this is one of the best rooms for comfort we have had.
The main restaurant was well laid out & the food was some of the best we have ever had which was the reason we never tried any of the a la carte restaurants, the one fault we found with the main restaurant was that no area was set aside for adults only, we felt there should be an adults only area as some nights there was a lot of children.
The grounds were well laid out with plenty of shade around the pool & beach areas & once again the service in these areas was some of the best we have had, I think the pool areas could do with life guards on duty to police the hotel pool rules making it safer for all users, it was good to see that most of the drinks were served in plastic cups but I think a total ban on all glasses around the pools would be a great improvement as twice we had to get glass broken by others cleaned up. NOTE this was not so much the hotels fault but more to do with the holiday makers who would keep bring gasses to the pool side & just leaving them any ware, possibly the same type of holiday makers who encouraged there young children to use the pool side showers to pee in rather than take them to the WC which would have meant they would have had to get off their sun bed or out of the water to take them, the same holiday makers who demand a drink rather then ask for one & think they should be served first at all times, we do not know which nationality they were, but I am glad they were not English.
Animation team did good job with the activities but it would have been good to have had some adult’s only activities, but overall there was plenty to do or watch throughout the day & night for all ages.
Overall this is a very good hotel for family’s & couples but if you want less children & cooler temps we were advised to try April/May or September/October which we will hopfully do next year.

Room Tip: Go for the relax pool view side of the hotel we thought that was the best position

The hotel is superb, is the best choice for a family. We stayed at delphin hotel for a week to 17 June and had a great time. Rooms are clean ,very big and confortable ,with classic furniture with all you need inside. I liked the minibar available in the room, refilled every day for free.
Pools are very big and clean and the watter inside is very warm( aprox 35 C).The slides are great fun and the kids enjoyed the funfair.
The food was very good and tasty, very varied. Every day there are different dishes & lots of show cooking. We only tried the Turkish a la carte so cannot comment on any of the others.
The beach is very nice, we never had a problem in finding available sunchairs.
The staff were polite & very obliging. Our thanks to the staff in restuarants for their help, care and kindness.
We have a great holiday and my doughter was so excited and want to come again.

Room Tip: Rooms on the south side are quieter.

This was our first time in Turkey and we had a very nice vacation at this hotel. It was one of the best hotels we ever spent our vacations. Big and confortable rooms with all you need inside. Minibar was also available in the room for free (every day was refilled with 3 bottles of beer, 3 Pepsi , 2 chocolates, 2 nectar juice, 2 bottles mineral watter). TV with many channels in many languages (english, german, turkish, romanian, russian). Food was very good and tasty; there were plenty of food types so you can always find something for your taste. The desset corner was my favourite, here you can find many many types of sweet things. Pools are very big and clean and the watter inside is very warm (they are in the sunlight all day so the watter temperature is like 35 degrees). The watter slides are very fun but they are open only 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. The problem is that there was no timetable for the slides printed anywhere. Beach is very nice and clean and we never had a problem in finding available sunchairs. There are many bars around the hotel, the pools and the beach so it's always easy to get what you need.
All the hotel personel is very nice and helpful, we found a lot of hospitality here.
I will consider this hotel again for my next vacation or at least another hotel form the Delphin family.

Some minor negagtive points: 1.Sometime, the cleaning of the rooms is done in the afternoon (14:00 - 16:00) when the childrens are slepping. We complained about this and the problem was solved. 2. WI-Fi is extremely slow, in fact it is almost not working, I needed 2 days to read one email.

We visited four times Antalya (Belek and Side) and we spent this summer holiday in Lara-Kundu. Turkey is the best choise for a family with kids because of "all inclusive" concept; At Delphine Palace Deluxe Resort we found luxury accomodation ( very big room with classic furniture), nice seaside view ( eventhough the vacant land near hotel was an ugly part of view; the new Imperial Delphin which is across, distract your attention from this arid plot ), good food (the desserts were not so tasty/healthy-I reccomended the turkish delights only as: baclava, etc; very big and clean pools, slides for little and big kids, sunbeds and umbrellas everywhere, real nice pontoon bridge, clean and private beach, very good spa, shop-mall nearby. The only thing that I evaluated unsatisfied is the animation who have a very short and poor shows, an unpleasant look of the team who scream a lot without consistence and make lot of rough jokes. A la Carte restaurants were nice with lovely view on the terrace and for the children we could choose lot of fun activities/places.

This was our first Turkey holiday. Pleasantly surprised and disappointed at the same time. Hotel itself is grand looking, Rooms are clean and comfortable. Choice of food on ultra all inclusive varied and tasty. Plenty of entertainment for kids of all ages. So what's the problem?? Personally as a family of three ( tot), we found the hotel even in sept. overcrowded. so much so that at meal times you have to fight for tables. Especially for breakfast at the main restaurant if you don't want to sit in the sun. I will know what to look for next time. Not a hotel with 500 -600 rooms. Overall Turks got it absolutely right when it comes to all inclusive holidays. Great food, great weather, beaches are decent. It's just that if you prefer more tranquil holiday this is not the place for you.

The hotel is lovely, the food was lovely normally I struggle with food but it was very tasty.
The swimming pools are clean and the slides were fun. The beach is nice and has sunbeds on the pier which is good if you like the breeze. Please bring an iron with you as they do not have these at the hotel due to "health and safety". The room service is NOT 24/7 it is free from midnight to 6 in the morning. The staff are friendly and speak good English. It is more a family resort and very busy bearing in mind I did go in June.

Turkey is a nice country and hot. The only excursion we did was horse riding, this was fun but you travel through the fields which was extremely hot. I would not go back here unless with family who had children. I would rate it 4* if I am being totally honest.
