We arrived in this hotel in September with our friends. We booked this hotel with Aplharooms and seeing amazing reviews about this place.
Lets get some real message to people who are coming to this place. I agree with the lady commented on here earlier. Really bad maintenance of the room we had and bad customer service from the receptionist who ment to welcome us on the arrival day.
We arrived in the morning and we get friendly welcome from the receptionist Sarcan Topkay. We were wrong!. When we came back and finally get in our room in the afteroon , he just took us to the room and left us outside to discover it on our own. Standard room we booked in was tiny, double bed, small bathroom with not attached sink and shower which we discoved later leak all around ( not mentioning it needed a proper clean). We wanted to find a space for our clothes but with one wardrobe full of dovet and bedlinen you would hardly get anything in.No table in the room and not even a fridge to use for any cold drink. ANd yes trust me , you would need one after finding out you havent got an air con. Unless you pay for it which alpharooms dont mention it , when you book a room via them!. Being disappointed with our sub standard room and not finding air condition , we finally managed to contact our friends who stayed in another room finding out what a horrible room they got as well with tiny window (better be in jail if you feel like). We went to the same receptionist and told him about the issues we had and about the air con.He responded we have to pay 7Euros/day if we want this on. Aplharooms did not have any charges on our booking!. In terms of us telling him about the rooms we had and how sub standard they were,, he just replayed what do we expect of what we paid for!. NOthing to do with what we paid for 6 months ago,,, it does matter if you get bad service and the rooms werent standard rooms though. OUr friends have mentioned their room too and not having any fire evacuation point with tiny room on the 2nd floor. What do we do in case of fire? The receptionist wasn't interested and said he has got nothing to do with it. ANd if we don't like it, we can go! We had horrible start of the day, Hot night with no air and above all we ended up facing to the main road which every staff, visitors and cars used ,with main electric box behind the door which made such a noise every 10-20 sec, you couldn't sleep all night .We have spoken to the manager and told him about the bad customer service and the rooms we had. There was no help either from him or the receptionist. Antalya is lovely place and has got loads to offer but would definitelly not come back to this hotel , This boutique hotel is only on outside but the inside (rooms ) are not and it is sold out for package holidays. Not good for people who wants some rest , friendly welcome .

Room Tip: dont book through alpharooms

This was a charming small hotel with character, a lovely variety of food and brilliant staff who made me feel incredibly welcome and could not do enough. Hats off especially to Suat (restaurant manager) and Gem (the day receptionist) always on hand to help and give tips. The location is fantastic, right by cash machines, several restaurants and bars (some playing excellent live music), the tram and just a few minutes walk to Kaleici. The pool area is a lovely place to relax with plenty of sun loungers available. If you want a hotel with a personal touch then the Oscar hotel is the place to stay!

We arrived late at night at the Oscar Hotel and were escorted to our room by a fairly friendly receptionist (we weren't given his name). He disappeared pretty quickly and left us to look around the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. All rooms are twin beds and apparently very basic. We had no balcony which we had requested when booking the holiday (we were told by reception that there are only balconies in the deluxe rooms which we were never told when booking). The beds were rock hard and the blankets scratchy. The light fittings and plug sockets were hanging out of the walls, which i thought was quite dangerous. There was one very small dressing table and one small upholstered stool that was very stained. There wasn't a big enough wardrobe to be able to store away our suitcases so we spent our whole holiday tripping over our clothes and luggage. The bathroom was tiny, and although we weren't expecting anything grand, the shower was disgusting. There was mould growing all round the edges and the glass sliding door had broken off and was lent against the inside of the shower. The walls were like cardboard and in need of a serious lick of paint to cover up the many years of dirt and grime. We also had no fridge to be able to keep water bottles cool overnight. We tried to have a shower the night we arrived and realised after many minutes of waiting that there was no hot water. We did request a different room the next day but were refused and no apologies were given for the lack of hot water. Most of the staff were lovely and friendly however there was one man on reception who was rude and abrupt with us and one man working on the bar would not even let us borrow a pen to write some postcards.

However, The pool and dining area was lovely and relaxing. The pool was absolutely freezing but did the job when you needed to cool down. The majority of the staff were friendly, if not lacking in attentiveness. We found there was great choice in food as we booked half board. The hotel was in a good location, just round the corner from one of the main shopping streets before you get to the old town.

We didn't let our stay in this hotel spoil our holiday and I would definitely recommend visiting Antalya (especially the old town and harbour), but i wouldn't recommend this hotel.

We booked a number of cheap hotels for 2 night stays around the wider Antalya area (Kemer, Side, Alanya) and this was by far the nicest.

It was difficult to find, and difficult to park, but once we had done so we had no problems what so ever. The room was nice enough (we had a double w/ en suite), the staff friendly and helpful, and the pool area clean. We booked half board so breakfast and evening meal (buffet) were included, which again were nice enough. Nothing that is going to blow you away, but it filled the hole with no complaints.

The rooms of the hotel surround a central courtyard in which you will find the pool and buffet/bar area. It is a nice setting with a modern feel - not something that hasn't been updated since the 1970s, nor is it something for someone looking for more traditional/"old town" hotel.

The location is good enough, not quite in the centre but easily within walking distance, even in the summer heat.

the rooms at oscar were very cosy and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, tasty and scrumptious. The hotel was situated very close to the beach which made staying there all the more enjoyable. There was a pet dog who was very playful with each and every guest who would like to play with him. I would always recommend this place to others and will definitely stay on my next visit again.

Room Tip: choose a room with a balcony

Thought when we booked it was within walls ,but outside in old area . Lacks the charm and vibrancy of Kaleici but also has plus benefits. Quiet at night !Available parking nearby and spacious gardens and pool area.
Staff are very friendly and helpful. Meals are relaxed affair with an amazing range of starters. Drinks expensive (common hotel prices) which is a pity as more people would stay on evening if they were more competitively priced!
Room clean , basic and would benefit from mini bar/ fridge. Towels white and fluffy! Should have booked room with a balcony to totally chill. Value for money

Room Tip: Pay extra for superior room with balcony when booking.
