We had such a great time at this hotel last year that we went back with a group of our friends last week. Everybody agreed that this a fantastic all inclusive hotel well deserving of it's 5 star rating. It has everything you can think of for a family beach and pool holiday.

Well where can I start, from the moment we arrived at Limak Lara we were treated like VIP's, we were greeted from the coach by the friendly bell boy who collected our cases, check in was quick which was great after being delayed and not arriving until 4am. we were shown to our room, we had a standard room as that was all that was left when we booked, this room was by no means standard when compared to standard rooms we've stayed in before, it was huge, the decor was lovely and things like the mini bar, free electronic safe, slippers and robes were a welcome touch. The room was cleaned to a high standard and mini bar replenished daily. The only thing we found with this hotel is it is so big that there is a risk of missing out on something, we were only there a week and feel it really was not long enough. You will get lost in this hotel but as we were advised its actually the best way to find everything. In saying that everything is well sign posted so once you get used to reading the signs indoors it all starts to make sense. The pool areas were lovely, very large and very clean. There was no shortage of availabe sunloungers even though the hotel was very busy it never felt overcrowded anywhere. The beach area is also lovely, we enjoyed sitting in the area overlooking the beach watching the games and watersports. The food in the hotel was so varied and delicious there was not a single day or night where we struggled to find something we liked. The late breakfast option was our favourite as its served 10-11 which allows for a longer ly if like us you enjoy a late night in one of the fantastic bars. We found there was not many british people staying in the hotel which I have noticed people have complained about in previous reviews. To be honest we really didnt find that a problem as most people there were friendly enough anyway and we dont go abroad to meet other british people. Now the next thing might not be a problem to others but it was a bit of a problem to me as I hate cats. There are quite a few roaming around the hotel, while we were there everyone else seemed to love them, even feeding them at their tables, this kind of thing turns my stomach but if that wouldnt bother you then ignore my mini moan. I would return to Limak Lara in a minute, it really is an amazing place to visit and there is no shortage of bars and restaurants and things to do. We went on the med boat trip one of the days there and to be honest I wish we hadnt bothered, it was rubbish, we were two hours each way on coach (which we were not advised about by our rep when booking) and the boat trip itself was a total let down, the food wasnt nice and the boat was covered so our plan to go and get a good tan was ruined. If I could choose again I would have hired the sultan for a day instead of going on the boat trip, that way your treated even more like a VIP and your guaranteed decent food and drink. I think I have covered everything but I could rave about this place all day. If you have booked already or thinking about booking please ignore the moaners and enjoy the countdown to your holiday here, it really is amazing!!

We spent one week at this hotel. We returned back to Antalya after a year (last summer we slept in Delphin Palace). I said this can´t be better but after the fact that our friends with 3 kids couldn´t be accommodated in a standard room and didn´t want to pay for family room, we explored Limak Lara Hotel.

This hotel has very nice interiours in the ZEN style and it´s not quite ´theatrical´ compared to hotels in this area. I was suprised that even the hotel has a big guest capacity, we had no overcrowded feeling. The staff is fully helpful and I didn´t meet rude staff. Always perfect service, people working there are king, nice to kids and professional.
Furthermore, cleanliness! Perfect. And entertainment. I´m not a person who has to do everything but water zumba or different kind of water activities is warmly welcomed! Nice evening entertainment.

Food...delicious. I can´t believe that at such a big hotel they are able to prepare excellent, but excellent thematic dinners. Also breakfasts and lunches - enough of everything for everybody.

If you have kids, go there. Both babies and kids have enough activities and the kids club is open the whole day with animatours. Superb minidisco in the evening.

Everywhere you can find toillets, also in the pool area, incl. toillets for kids.

The only negative point was that entertainment in the other hotels is noisy and you can hear it in the night.

To sum up, highly recommended!!

Room Tip: Book a room with the sea view.

We returned to the Limak Lara in August for the second time. We had such a great time last year that we decided to book again. Once again everything was brilliant...the food, the cleanliness, the staff, the service and not forgetting the entertainment! Every member of staff works so hard to make it all perfect. We booked the cabanas before we arrived this time to avoid disappointment. They were fully booked nearly everday last time so made sure we were well prepared. It was nice to see so many faces from the previous year.....especially Aykan! The kids love him and he works so hard but still manages to stop and say hello.

We would all love to come back again and have already recommended it to our friends.

We booked a week long all inclusive holiday with Thomas Cook. We have never been to Turkey before but after this holiday I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the travel agent, the country and especially the Limak Lara Hotel.

We were met from a very late flight to Antalya by a very friendly Thomas Cook Rep, who put us on our transfer bus. The bus was air conditioned and the journey to the hotel lasted 10 minutes. Arriving at the hotel at 1.00 am the reception staff were waiting for us, our bags were taken to our room and we were given the option of eating in the bar.

The hotel is beautiful, large, modern and spotlessly clean. There is a lovely friendly, relaxed atmosphere about the hotel. There are numerous restaurants that serve food ALL day. The Zen is the most popular and while it does get busy there is always some where to sit. The waiting staff are very attentive. The food itself is varied and delicious, there is something for everyone. During the day we would recommend the restaurants around the pool area and on the beach.
Our room was made up everyday, with fresh sheets and towels. There are slippers and bathrobes provided. The mini-bar is included in your all inclusive and is restocked everyday.
The location of the hotel is wonderful a quick walk through the grounds and you are on the beach. A swim in the sea is a must, the water is so warm. There are numerous places to book water sports, again we would recommend the company associated with Limak Lara, they offer a really friendly service.
The weather was fantastic, there are several pools to swim in and although busy we were never stuck for a sun lounger.
The highlight of the holiday was the entertainment team. Like all the staff at the hotel they work exceptionally hard. They provide entertainment throughout the day but the highlight is the shows in the evening. A special mention to Aykan who was so welcoming and looked after us so well. The entertainment team are such an asset to the hotel.

Overall we would recommend the Limak Lara to anyone, and would definitely holiday here again.

* Party included 13 year old child.
* Thomas Cook told us to take Turkish Lira as currency, don't - take Euro. All souvenirs in the hotel, local and airport shops price everything in Euro and it seems to be the currency of choice.
