Stayed here from 8/11 - 18/11, was a bit wary of the hotel already from some of the reviews then when we got there first impressions weren't to good as there was another Brit there complaining about there room being filthy when they have just checked in. So we were checking in and they tried fobbing us off with 2 rooms instead of 3 as we booked telling us we had only booked 2 instead of 3. Either way we checked in and went for a quick drink as it was quite late, found no staff spoke English so it was a quick 1 then up to bed. One of our party was also having a lot of trouble with her safe and it took 2 days to get the maintenance bloke to come up to unlock it. Over the course of the 10 days we realised there were about 15 Brits including us 5. Barely any staff spoke English and you couldn't really talk to anybody. The lobby is beyond huge, just loads of wasted space and the lobby bar is disgusting, it smells like somebody had been rubbing coffee into there armpits, it smelt like that every single day. The hotel seems to be stuck in the 80's with its neon lights and very very old music. The restaurant is very nice, different choices every night, especially liked the Turkish nights as there were lots of kebabs. Breakfast was alright, as you would expect with most foreign places it's more of a continental breaky, couldn't really complain. the beach bar was good, nice choice of food, plenty of space to chill out and was set out nicely. The beach had a lot of sunbeds but was covered with ciggy butts, the water sports are a bit of a rip off as it cots £30 for 10 mins on the jet ski but where I live you can pay that and get a half hour, other than that it was good to go for a swim. The pools are poorly designed IMO. There is a quite pool at the side of the hotel which gets covered in shade my late afternoon so is pretty pointless, the main pool with the slides is ok for kids as it is only 110cm deep which TBH is just stupid. When you ome down the slides you hit the floor and even when your swimming you can touch the floor. The wave pool is really made for younger kids the waves are more like big ripples but I suppose there all ok for a quick dip. There are 2 full size football pitches right in the middle of the grounds which I think is a complete waste of space as 1 of them only gets used for an hour at 4 for the guests to have a kick about. They really should have put a huge swimming pool whe the pitches are and just put 1 pitch up the side with a a 5 a side court. The spa...is brilliant had a Turkish bath on the first day which I enjoyed, also had a proper massage on my last day which was tip top, the girls make you feel welcome and know what there doing. The gym though is old and outdated, I did use it a couple of times while I was there but it's equipment looks second hand from the 80's. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are freezing, basically used it for a couple of laps then back into the sun. The rooms....are small with a small 12 inch fat back tv with about 3 English channels so it was either the news or the news.
Overall I wouldn't stay here again, I would pay the extra 100 or so and stay at the miracle next door as it looks and sounds stunning
