Owner description: Descend from Kaleici to the Antalya Marina via very steep stone steps. Bring sturdy shoes so as not to slip. It's well worth the effort because the marina is a lovely crescent-shaped place where fishing boats rub shoulders with smart yachts. Watch the fishermen sell their latest catch and chat with yacht owners. A few small cafes offer coffee or tea. Look back up toward the plateau, which forms the basis of Antalya and get a special view of the landmarks from down below.

“Antalya Old Harbour”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

Kaleici marina is located at the center of the city. You can also visit old town where is located near marina. There is a narrow streets and a lot of local shops. Dont forget to make bargain during the shopping. Harbour has a spectaculer wiew and you will see a lot of Gulet ( wooden style Boat ) which are going short or daily boat trips. Antalya's most important restaurant ARMA also located there and l can recommend to eat seafood there if you are going to marina.

“Fantastic Historic Harbour”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

Wandering through the narrow streets and browsing the shops was so enjoyable. Started out high above the harbour and gradually was at harbour level. The shop keepers were friendly and not pushy. The old sailing ships picturesque. The historic architecture so interesting.

“Charming”
Reviewed January 24, 2014

The harbor district in Antalya's old town is a charming and quiet place walk and watch the boats, to sit and watch the sunset, and to enjoy a raki.

“Small, colorful and Peaceful.”
Reviewed January 20, 2014

The Good: You will find more locals at this harbor than Tourist, it's directly under Kaleici, so it's very easy to find. Many Cafes, Bars and Seaside Eateries with fabulous views.

The Bad: The city is very poor and depends heavily on Tourism, so the Tour Guides and Boat personnel are PUSHY! Walking down any street is like walking down a gauntlet of Sales Persons and Shop Keepers DESPERATE for your Euro. Just kindly say "No Thank you" or "Nein Danke". Do not accept Tea from anyone unless you want an hour presentation on rugs, cheese...or water. lol

“Best part of the city to see”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

This unique little harbor was the most interesting thing to see in Antalya during our 1-day visit to downtown from our resort in Lara. We descended from the old city and walked out onto the end of the sea wall which reaches to the harbor mouth. From here, you can see the steep cliffs which surround it. Plenty of wooden historically-styled ships were moored there trying to sell short sightseeing rides, but we didn't have time to try them. There are several cafes on both ends of the harbor where you can sit on the cliff's edge and enjoy a view.
