Owner description: Descend from Kaleici to the Antalya Marina via very steep stone steps. Bring sturdy shoes so as not to slip. It's well worth the effort because the marina is a lovely crescent-shaped place where fishing boats rub shoulders with smart yachts. Watch the fishermen sell their latest catch and chat with yacht owners. A few small cafes offer coffee or tea. Look back up toward the plateau, which forms the basis of Antalya and get a special view of the landmarks from down below.

“Stunning views of incredible periods”

The harbor and surroundings are incredible. There is an outdoor cafe that overlooks the harbor. The view is outstanding.

“Nice but unexceptional town”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 9, 2013

I think we were lucky to visit out of season, it must get very busy. Too many souvenir shops, not a lot of history, nice seafront views but 1-2 hours is ample time to visit

“Pleasant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2013

A lovely pleasant spot to wander around and have a drink. The steps are a bit steep and slippy so it best to use the road.

“Pretty Harbour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2013

Pretty harbour overlooked and complemented by Kaleici Old Town. Plenty to see and a variety of retaurants and bars to visit and if you ignore the steps and take the steep street back out, then you are right in to the "bazaar" area which will take you all the way up to the clock tower. You might get hassled to go on a boat trip, but a smile and polite no thank you will see you on your way. A very pleasent adjuct to the old town.
