This was the 1st time we,ve visited the Tat, and the 6th course we played in Belek this week, and I have to say it was disappointing. On arrival everything looked and felt good, very impressive clubhouse, friendly staff, outstanding quality course planners & scorecard, was looking forward to play. Course in made up of three 9s, with holes 1-18 we had been told the best, and were told on arrival that was what we were playing, and we headed to the 1st. The tee didn't look too bad, but when we got on the 1st fairway, oh dear, worst fairways we,d seen by far, very patchy, preferred lies a must. Then we reached the 1st green, looked a bit like the greens at the Sueno PInes, but worse, very bare and extremely slow, they looked in a very poor way. As the round went on, the course became very bland and not very exciting, with the overall condition of the course not improving, poor fairways, bare greens, over sanded bunkers and not very inspiring holes. Yes there is quite a bit of water, but overall not a very exciting course, there is much better, and nicer courses in Belek. In the clubhouse after we had a bit of an argument with the waitress who tried charging us for drinks we had no had too!! Disappointing end to a disappointing day to what had been a really good week of golf at different courses in Belek. We will return to Belek, but not the Tatty Tat which is how we will all remember it as.
