I saw the aquarium on the way to Kemer from Antalya. A nice drive, by the way - about 45 minutes. Beautiful scenery all the way - reminded me of Nice or Carmel.
Typical aquarium - claims to have world's longest tunnel. Tunnels are great because the fish are all around you. The little ones that are often hiding in big tanks, but seem to be able to find spots where they are safer from the bigger fish but still visible from the tunnel.
Snakes, lizards, tarantulas, etc ... I say worth a visit. The kids I saw there were absolutely enthralled.

Had a wonderful half day visiting the aquarium. Was very impressed by the layout and the range and number of different of species. The viewing tanks were amazing. The tunnel was absolutely fantastic, it was wonderful to have so many fish, stingray and sharks swimming overhead. A truly impressive aquarium and well worth the very reasonable fee of 26tl per person (less than 10gbp at time of writing). I would definitely visit the aquarium again!

Entrance fee is pricey, however, the tanks are very wonderfully arranges with many creative themes. Our children loved visiting the aquarium and were amazed at the sights, but had to get over the initial cost. Also, easy walk over to the Mini City which is right next door.

it was the very first time in an aquatic museum( so the comment it s posted only to illustrate my first impression about such places and not to compare with other aquariums) and i felt overwhelmed by the structure and the smooth running of things.
From the entrance you will be impressed by the modern acrhitecture and good organization-which is a good point for such a crowded place: a lot of people of different nationalities, many children and one purpose:passing through the largest tunnel-I thought it would be more opulent but the feeling is wonderful.
Each area has bathroom facilities and every stage of the museum is well inscribed so there you can't lose yourself!
Aquariums have short stories and information about aquatic environments that mimic and details about the great variety of fishes(fish origin, the type of water, type of food).
Likewise you'll find few souvenir shops, restaurants,a photography workshop (children are invited to pose with pirates,parrots)-surcharge.
I can't say much about the ticket price because we had the transportation included from the hotel and back but i think is more advantageous to buy a ticket form the agency you travel with(a specialized guide accompanied us).
i would recommend the Antalya Aquarim for fun, leaisure and some general knowledge

The aquarium is all right, although I've seen better ones. Unfortunately, I got cheated there.
First of all, the prices in the restaurant at the entrance are in USD. You only notice it when paying - well, yes, there is the small $ sign, but normally in restaurants you only notice amounts, not really currency, right?
Secondly, the entrance fee was 35 USD. USD, not lira. I paid with the credit card and was very disturbed already with the situation at the restaurant, so I did not notice they charged me (1 adult and 1 baby 2 years old, who should in fact have admission for free) 139 lira, ie about 50 EUR.
A total rip off and robbery. Not recommended, never again.
