Supposed to be the longest aquarium tunnel in the world. 131 meters. Interesting fish every where, floating around you. We saw an eel being fed by a diver.
Also has a snow area with real snow. You are provided with boots and waterproof clothing before entrance. Kids can toboggan. Has various eating places within the complex.
A bit expensive

Although the exhibits are elaborate and impressive, this was an expensive way to spend our last hours in Turkey before flying home. Would probably have been more fun had we had children or grandchildren with us. The exit through the gift shop was not a big surprise. An ok activity on a rainy day, I guess.

We went to the aquarium with our kids a week after it had opened and it looked like the place had been in operation for at least 5 years. There was black skuff marks all over the white painted walls, open electrical sockets, unpatched holes in walls, terrible rendering and painting...quality control on the building aspect was non-existent, we could not believe the price they charged to go into this place!

Fake painted rock to give the illusion of coral, fish that looked sick and dying. I could not believe the high ratings this place had gotten from visitors - in the end put it down to the fact that they probably haven't been to a high quality aquarium where things are tip top (i.e. Singapore). C'mon, if you're going to boast the longest tunnel etc etc, you have to make sure the place looks first class. Another thing, the place could do with getting more friendly staff, especially ticket sales staff and customer service...you could not get away with such rudeness in staff in the country I'm from.

A lot of it is still to be built, but it's a nice place to take your kids for a couple of hours of fun and exploration

The aquarium is good - particularly well-decorated tanks, but the fish aren't that impressive in terms of size compared to other aquariums I have visited. I am not sure if we got ripped off, but it was really expensive - it was well over 100 tl for two people - so about £35, which we felt was seriously excessive. The ice-cream restaurant is well worth visiting, on the plus side!
