stayed in this resort on April 4th of this year for 4 nights with my family.. we all enjoyed this resort and the activities, view of the swimming pools, the garden, the view surrounding the hotel. kids enjoyed to the fullest in the pools and the night club for kids, disco dancing.. they've a huge buffet for all the meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner with also snacks, drinks, etc between the meals and all is included in the room price.. when we wanted to leave and go back to Istanbul.. kids didn't want to.. wanted to stay longer.. I'd love to visit this resort again, and as there are more similar resorts in Antalya, so we may try next time Delphin Imperial as ppl said it's also a good resort.

Room Tip: nothing special about the rooms except the balcony where u can set and enjoy the view.. the bed is c...

we stayed for 9 nights in March 2013 (thomas cook). Weather not great but plenty to do and staff were wonderful. if you go please use guest relations. you 'll find them excellent and really helpful. they even sorted us out with tickets for a turkish league match. Fernabachie game and wow do the turkish love football (a real experience). Thanks to Thomas Cook rep (stephanie) for helping out re inforamtiaon around travel to and from the game (steph you were amazing)

back to the hotel. our room was spot on. clean and big. the food was really good. lots of choice and everyone should try the mexican in the Kremlin. remember think of this as one big complex comprising both hotels. the water parks (althogh not open when we were there) are a big plus and great for kids and adults too.

the beach is great and there are plenty of sunbeds and space. the pier would be great for the summer and beach tents looks like great value and fun.

big plus is the choice of food and for an All Inclusinve (24 hours) the beer and spirits are good. The draft beer was Tapps (istanbul beer) which i liked, but its been changed to draft and bottled effes (good quality). the cocktail bar is great, watch as they dont hold back on the vodka in the bloody marys. The staff at the cocktail bar are funny and friendly.

the place is big enough to cater for everyone and space for everyone too - there are plenty of bars and service is good (can imagine some waiting in high season - but with so many choices of places to order - not a long wait) The on site amusment areas (pool, table tennis, bowling and games machines) are good and well equiped. they have a bar area as well.

its very easy to get out and about and Anatalya only 70p away on the bus. the bus stops right outside the hotel. Lara market on a saturday easy to get to and a good morning out (after the market go to a local bar or one of the local big shoppign centers (Shemal or terra city)

would recommend the topkapi - most any one would have a great break. need to be aware its a big complex and lots of different natioanlites holidaying there. Different cultures have different views of food, entertainment and queing etc -. Difference is ok - can be annoying re jumping lines but its not a big issue.

would like to thank the staff at the hotel - they have a difficult job at times but i found them friendly and really helpful.

as i said at the beginning - speak to guest relations if you have any questions - they l(ike the whole team at the Topkapi) are brilliant and are there to help you enjoy your holiday.

also a big thanks to Thomas Cook rep - Stephanie - she couldnt do enough to help and helped impove what was already a great holiday

going back to the hotel in late June and cant wait (if you go - get out and about, its easy to explore lara and antalya)

This was the first time ever, i went to turkey - and i was pretty surprised about the hotel - or should i say resort. Theres almost everything you need in one place. A very big resort, with lots of apartments to stay in. Very nice and clean all the time - and with a minibar that is filled everyday with pepsi, sprite, beer and water. Outside, you will find lots of place for sunbathing, besides all the different pools. Theres also a waterpark indside the hotel, which was controlled by lifeguards and it was really fun. Then theres a hairdresser, where you can also get your nails done. Then theres plenty of restaurants, where you can taste all kinds of meals, and then there´s the big buffet/all incl. restaurant, which is one of the best i´ve ever tried. Especially the breakfast. I loved the fact that all the cooks were standing outside and serving you. All you have to be aware of, is that this restaurant is like any other all incl. restaurants - very crowded. I think it´s a cosy one though. All day long, you´re able to get soft drinks or alchol servered in the bars around the hotel - and the staff was always very friendly.
Theres also a disco and a place to go bowling inside the hotel area. I thought it was really nice.
Last but not least, they have their own beach.
We only went outside the hotel 1 time, since everything you need is in there - and theres nothing around the hotel anyway. It´s in the middel of nowhere - but other hotels. So you have to take the bus or a taxi - to go shopping for example. It´s a place to go, if all you want is to relax and have a good time - not if you´re the type that wants to go out and see loads of things.....

Worth a try!

Went for the first week in April 2013, the hotel was lovely but nothing was open, we knew it was out of season still but we was told that stuff would start to open up, there was no entertainment on of a night time, the rep told is there was but it was just a piano player, the food is not catered for English people which you would expect but it was the same every night, there is a bus that you can get into Antalya which stops right outside the hotel which we ended up using a lot as we got bored of having nothing to do in the hotel, however there is nothing in walking distance of the hotel or a beach to walk too, even though the hotel has its own there was maintenance work happening and the pier had been taken up! This was consistent around the hotels as the whirl pool and slides were not open, we were disappointed that all the facilities were just not open and felt like we had wasted our money, luckily the weather was nice. There was not many English people in the hotel as it was mainly Russian and German and not a lot of people speak English also signs are in other languages! It is definitely catered for Russian and German people as they even use euro instead of lira!

this was by far the best all inclusive we have ever been to check in was great and luggage was taken to room for us which was great we arrived very late so didn't go for food or drinks which are available 24 hours the fridge in the room had juice water and beer in it which was great and was replenished every day .room was very clean but a bit dull it had everything we needed and had a massive double comfy bed and we were happy with its location.the food in the main resteraunt was excellent with so much choice at every meal so much so we didn't use any of the others available except for the beach bar where they serve snacks of burgers, hot dogs ,salads and chips our friends used a few different food places and said they were very good too.they don't advertise the icecreams they do in the afternoon but we just followed the trail of people coming back and found the place no problem it also does afternoon tea and cakes there.the slides were very good although only open set times as it was early in season but open enough.the cocktail bar in the kremlin was very good although the first night I went in the barman kept ignoring me and then when he did serve me banged about I nearly never went back but the other nights it was different very friendly happy staff a completely different atmosphere and they have music some nights too.the staff in general were very good the resteraunt at night and lunch time is table service for drinks and this was a bit erratic some times we were not asked about drinks at all there is a bar in there which I went to but it only has some drinks and not wine which is what I wanted the bar man then located a waiter who did then get me a glass of wine this could be made easier by having a wine and beer dispenser in resteraunt as they do in some all inclusive hotels we did on one occasion go in and the waiter recognised us and put our drinks down on the table with out even asking what we drank which I was pleasantly surprised at.we would def go back not in middle of summer as I think it would be to busy there is plenty of space and pools and things to do all in all we had a great holiday at this hotel

Just returned from Topkapi. Lovely presented Hotel but wouldn't return. I will start with good points: All inclusive was brilliant, couldnt have asked for more, alcoholic and soft drinks on tap all day long, minibar in room stocked every day not just with water but pepsi, sprite and beers. I thought that was fab. Food was good, we didn't venture into the other restaurants as we had our 10 month old baby with us, so buffet food was easier. Pools and water slides were brilliant too - kids loved it but being only April, the water was freezing. The hotel was very relaxed and you were able to get about and do your own thing. Our room was fine, very clean and cleaned daily. Nice balcony overlooking the relax pool. All in all great value for money.
Bad points: Hotel was very noisey at night. We tended to go to bed about 10.30/11.00pm as we had a baby with us who woke early. We would always be woken a few hours later with doors slamming, people's footsteps, drunk football teams cheering and making a racket. This would have been acceptable if it was all going on around the main pool and reception, but we heard this all from the quiet side. The walls in the room must be very thin as we could also hear couples having sex in the night. We travelled with friends who also had a few bad nights of being woken up with guests moving furniture and slamming doors in the early hours.
There were also loads of football teams staying over all week. Not only did they seem to make a lot of noise at night, the buffet restaurant stopped us sitting at tables some nights as they had been reserved for the football teams. Most annoying as we were a party of 9 so also needed a large table too, so had to hunt for tables before eating. I've travelled to Turkey before and found the local people really friendly. However, the majority of the staff in the hotel looked miserable and were not very friendly, so it made me wonder what it must be like to work in Topkapi. By all accounts, not the best of jobs! We were aware that we were travelling early in the season so wasn't expecting loads, but the entertainment in Topkapi was non-existent. For evening discos and stuff going on at night, you had to travel across to the next Hotel, the Kremlin. We didn't bother! It was a shame that the kids funfair and activities on the beach were all shut down too. I thought April was the start of their summer season, but it seemed there was still a lot of work going on.
In summary, a good place to go if you like resort hotels, but if you like to venture out and about, there's nothing to do. Having said that, we had a great week away, but for us personally, not worth a re-visit.
