I've just arrved back on Saturday after 2 weeks at the Aspen Hotel, this is the 2nd time we've been there and loved it even more this time. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, the waiters are the best, nothings a problem for them. The food at the hotel is lovely... the room are aren't huge but a decent size and the air conditoning is so effective... I can't recommend this hotel or the surrounding area enough. We'll certainly be going back next year again,, a big thank you to Umit and all the other staff at the Aspen, Can't wait to return

Room Tip: If you want a double bed make sure you request this, othewise you'll most likely be given a twin...

The hospitality we received at this wonderful little hotel cannot be faulted. The waiting staff especially were exceptionally friendly and helpful and pretty much adopted our five year old girl who adored them. The food was fantastic, evening meals varied and delicious especially for me as a vegetarian. Although our bedroom was basic, it was always spotlessly cleaned every day and the shower nice and powerful. The location is also perfect, quiet and away from the noisy bazaars but in a prime position from the harbour. We spent some time at a local sports bar 'Paradise' to watch the Olympics and were treated like friends when we returned. Be sure to explore up the hill towards the Hidirlik Tower for fantastic views and 'no hassle' shopping.

Very convenient to all at Old City Marina. Pleasant hotel, very nicely decorated, small but adequate room. EXTRAORDINARY HOSPITALITY: Terrific helpful staff; we were taking a late night flight out of Antalya; when checking out that morning we said that we would be spending the day at the marina and the front desk manager suggested that after our daytime activities, we return to the hotel to shower and change before our flight. We were shown the showers in the sauna, massage room and given towels; shampoo, soap and technically we were no longer guests, as we checked out earlier in the day. We were delighted! PS. When you confirm your reservation ask for specific directions into the Old City Marina, it’s a little tricky.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view.

The rooms are basic but clean. The staff are very nice and helpful. Not many English guests. The only negative is not being able to bring your own soft drinks in the hotel to drink. It works out quite expensive as you have to buy everything in the hotel. Too hot in July for me ...and I love heat. Air con units in rooms were not the best positioned. I would recommend this hotel but not Analya. Antalya harbour is a bit scruffy

Stayed at the Aspen for 10 nights in June 2012. We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony ( which we had requested in advance but weren't holding out much hope as there are only 4 rooms with balconies). The room was plenty big enough with a large, comfortable double bed and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They even let us keep our room until 2pm on our departure day.
We would definitely stay at the Aspen again, its a little gem!

Excellent.. Don't look at the bad reviews! This is the nicest place I have ever visited. The rooms are clean and although not large, are more than adequate. The food is amazing, the service is extremely friendly and polite. It is quiet and private but in the centre of the busy old town. If you want relaxed .... This is it! We will be coming back. Antalya itself is unspoilt by your typical British tourists who want all inclusive "pissed" and I love a drink as much as the next girl! Charming, quaint, cultured ancient town but surrounded by a thriving busy city if you want it.

Me and my girlfriend wanted a nice early summer getaway (May) and after a bit of searching settled on Antalya, and the Hotel Aspen. In honesty, we didn't know exactly what we were getting, we just knew it was very reasonably priced and close to the centre of town.

It turns out the location was perfect. So close to local markets, 2 minutes from the old harbour and lovely private beach and 1 minute from a taxi rank that takes you to various Antalya sights, will wait for you and then bring you back (all very reasonable fixed prices).
The hotel itself was basic, but if you're like us and out all day you won't really mind. When we arrived we were given a choice of 2 rooms, the only shame being the nicer room (that we settled for) didn't have a double bed. Oh well. The only negative with the room was that the bathroom started to smell damp if you left the door shut, other than that the air conditioning kept us cool and the calls to prayer were a captivating distant sound.
The grounds are really nice as is the pool, if a little cold! Food was good and fresh, breakfast being the same every day - a good selection of hot and cold, and dinner providing similar cold dishes each night but different hot foods (all buffet style).
The staff were very friendly and the guy on reception when we first arrived spoke very good English and introduced us to the town, giving us an annotated map. Lovely guy.
But the main attraction was the location. In the evening there were plenty of places within walking distance to eat or just grab a drink (for cocktails i'd recommend Vanilla bar) and you can't help but find dozens of places that overlook the old harbour - a lovely sight at night.
I would definitely recommend this if you're after simple but convenient.
