“The most fantastic hotel! Can't wait to go back!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 17, 2011

If you're reading this..dont hesitate...book up and stay in this amazing hotel!

Me and my partner stayed at the Hillside Su in Septmember - it was the most fantastic hotel i have ever stayed in.
The staff are extremly helpful and attentive, they are almost one step ahead of you before you ask for something.
We spent most of our days lounging on the amazing sunbeds ( which are so comfortable!! )
staff will bring you free fruit, breads, apple tea and we were even given a free thai massage whilst sitting in the sun. They also offer a free sunglass cleaning service! They really do think of everything.
The poolside music is very relaxing and if you need something to eat or drink, there are buzzers on your sun umbrellas and they will arrive very quickly to take your request.
There is so much to do at the hotel!! The beach area is also fantastic.
Definitely recommend ordering a pizza from the pool area as taste amazing! We rented out a jet ski which was £30 for 30 mintures - absolutely brilliant fun!
There is a pier that you can jump off into the warm sea which is brilliant. For those of you interested in snorkelling you are able to buy a snorkelling set from the supermarket up the road from the hotel (expensive to buy in the hotel shop) - and for the complaints on here about the pebble beach - absolulte madness as the beach area is lovely and there are wooden walkways for you to walk around on.
There is a happy hour at the beach bar every day and the staff are very friendly! They have music on every night and we saw some great singers and live bands.
The spa area inside the hotel is a different level! i had a hot stone massage and it was trully amazing. My partner had the traditional turkish bath which he also said was brilliant. We both drank apple tea in the lounge area afterwards and both enjoyed the sauna and steam room together.
The gym is absolutely amazing - i am a regular user at home and it really is out of this world! they have free yoga and pilate classes through-out the day which you can attend and they also have free fruit in the gym.
There is a big sports screen in the hotel for the football fans out there. We watched a man utd game and they brought us all out free popcorn - very nice touch!
They hold outdoor cinema evenings twice a week (during peak season) i highly recommend this - brilliant fun and they also give out free popcorn and blankets so couples can snuggle up under the stars.
The food..............absolutely incredible! like everyone else says on here...go half board! there is something for everyone and more. Vegetarians are well catered for along with children. They really have everything you could ever want.
I would also recommend going to the sushi restaurant one evening!! The chef is absolutely incredible and an extremly lovely guy. we sat drinking with him at the bar one evening. His sushi really is incredible!!!
For younger people, the water park is worth doing just for a couple of hours. It has a few good slides and a wave machine in the pool area. It isnt the most amazing water park in the world but definitely good fun to break up your day.
There are table tennis areas, board games you can take to play by the pool, bike hire and there are lovely hammocks you can lounge on whilst reading your book.
The rooms are very new age and clean cut. The white look is amazing and we also enjoyed our pet goldfish and the lava lamp in the room. The showers are amazing!! Also you can turn the bed into either a twin or a double as the matresses pull out.
I would recommend a court yard view or sea view room. We were originally put into a water park side room which is very noisy so we asked to change and they put us in a fab room which over looked the pool at no extra cost.
The hotel food and drinks are the same price as back in england but if you want to stay in an upmarket hotel, expect to pay a tiny bit more because the service and surroundings make up for it!
Head to the supermarket which is a ten minute walk away up the road. We did a bit of clothes shopping in here and got some really nice pieces for a good price!!
The old city is only a ten minute drive up the road, there is a lovely marina also. We sat and had a drink overlooking it which was lovely.

This hotel really is amazing! we still didnt get everything done we wanted in our week but we will be back!

BOOK UP NOW!!! :)

Room Tip: Ask for a court yard room

Had an amazing time at hillside su. My husband and I needed a break and we booked a two week holiday to Antalya. We decided on hillside as it just had such great reviews, was on the beach and it seemed like there was lots to do.
The location was just fantastic and the views were stunning.
The big positives and highlights were: huge rooms, very clean, wonderful breakfast which is included in the price, close to the old town, feel good hour every day at 5.30 at the beach bar (half price drinks for an hour every day ), the outdoor cinema, cocktail making workshops and the fantastic seafood restaurant on the 5th floor.
The staff were fantastic - there ate many of them and they were so helpful. We loved the indoor pool as well and jacuzzi. The hotel also has table tennis and squash facilities.
We stayed for two weeks which was a perfect duration - first week just got to relax but second week went sightseeing etc.
The only negatives I can think of were that our beds were two singles /mattresses put together

We booked through Thomas cook and everything from their service to the hotel was 100%.
We are both well travlled and have stayed from 3-5* hotels but the Su was our favourite to date.
So what makes it our favourite:
Transfer time only 15mins
Modern, stylish relaxing yet fun and vibrant at nights
Amazing food
Wonderfull staff
All 5* facilities you would expect....gym,pools,etc
My list is endless

For us, we could do as little or as much as you wanted. Yes, I agree its not in a 'buzzing' area but thats not what we went for....we paid for a good hotel and we wanted to spend as much time in that hotel as we could.
For the ones that said the food was average....and the floors were to hard and to bring your own slippers....think you should realy think about staying at home! As for compalining that your goldfish died...well as that not what happens over here when you go to Blackpool and win a fish on the 'hook a duck'?
So, my final point is.....amazing,vibrant,luxury,chic,modern,wow! IGNORE the ones that will never be pleased!

Just got back from our second visit to the Hillside Su. We went in July for a week and were so impressed, we booked another week in September! To our surprise, we were told that as we had been before, we were to get a 15% discount on all food & drink ! If we came again, which we will, we will get 25% off and any further visits to the hotel we will get 30% off! The prices are really reasonable for a 5 star hotel any way so this is a real bonus!
They treat you like a celebrity and you feel special.
Places to eat outside the Hotel are; Lara Balik Evi Restaurant in Konyaalti [Fish] and the Vanilla restaurant down at the harbour [Meditteranean]. Another little local one a short walk from the hotel is Ali Baba 2. They were very friendly and the food was excellent.

From start to finish the 2 nights i spent here were my ideal of perfection.
I love the white stark decor and slightly kooky lighting etc.
Rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, loved the double bed on the balcony for lounging.
Staff are polite, helpful but never intrusive and nothing was too much trouble.
The spa facilities are top notch , with a great range of treatments on offer.
This is not a budget place but then we were not on a budget.
If you are looking for something a cut above, this ticks the boxes.
Complimentary slippers and toiletries in the room.
Minibar prices normal for the kind of place it is.
We are already planning our next visit........and the next and the next.

Room Tip: All the rooms are good !!!!

This hotel is trying very hard to be 'hollywood' type glamour but just does not convince. Nice location opposite the beach but other aspects leave a nasty taste in your mouth. The staff were very friendly, especially toward our two young children which makes a change from the child-hating UK hotel owners. We personally loved the buffets for breakfast and evening meals, huge choice and varied. Had to really nag though for a high chair each time for our toddler for meal times - they need to buy more of them. Downsides were the drinks...outrageously expensive, you'd have to be well off to buy more than one round. The in-room minibar was out of the question price-wise, almost £200 for a bottle of that blue sapphire gin that sells for £6 in Tesco! why on earth would you even consider buying it??? the goldfish in the bowl started to float after 24 hours and we complained - when we returned from our day out there were new fish in the bowl...they did not last through the night. Someone must be making a fortune selling goldfish to this hotel. Poor things. The rooms are white gloss-painted concrete - no rugs, no carpeting, just a very hard solid floor that makes your feet ache after a while. We did not use the disposable slippers in the wardrobe in case we got charged for them, take your own soft-soled shoes or slippers especially if you have flat feet or you will suffer.

We found the cleaners did a good job although I advise not leaving anything lying around the room that is of any value as we heard another guest complain about a theft from their room - lock your suitcases when you leave the room. This place really needs to rethink their policy on banning the taking food and drink from outside the hotel into rooms as being searched by door security is not welcoming - we managed to defy them by tucking bottles of water and cordial, crisps, etc, in and around our child's stroller - also on my person too - you need your own water and snacks as the hotel's small water bottles are UK£7.00.

In all, not a bad place to stay if you are impressed by blingy decor and very, very harsh coloured lighting - so long as you dont scratch below the surface you can believe you are staying in a luxury hotel. But it's like a xmas tree that's been over decorated...
