Very good hotel. Definitely recommended. Placed at a perfect location. very close to the city center. Good clean rooms. good services. great view of the sea from the room. Staying here we could enjoy the city of Antalya.
The buffet spread was not very great, the choices were far less. You have a lot of eating options right next to the hotel. So not to worry.

I was pleased with the accommodations at the very modern (but bland) Khan Hotel, only blocks from the old city (Kalieci) of Antalya. Our room was spick-and-span, and the restaurant was also very clean, though the food mediocre. In their defense, they had a great selection of desserts. The lobby is small, but everything else about the building was just dandy.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor with a view of the harbor.

My husband and I holidayed here for one week from 23rd Nov 2012 to the 30th Nov 2012.

The Khan Hotel couldn't be in a more perfect location for enjoying the city of Antalya. It sits just a couple of hundred yards away from the old town of Kaleici and the harbour. It is a similar distance from Cumhurriyet Square (which faces Kaleici), where you can sit and sip cay (Turkish tea) or coffee and people watch - highly recommended!

Our room in The Khan was huge. We went for a corner suite (Room 401) which gave us a small sitting room and a bedroom. There's a TV in both rooms. Our balcony overlooked Antalya bay, the Bay Mountains and Kaleici (and several rooftops and mosques).

The bed was the biggest I've seen - possibly superking? Very comfortable and with a choice of pillows and extra blankets to top the duvet. There's air conditioning/heating in the bedroom that you can control yourself. There are also tea and coffee making facilities. Praise for the plentiful supply of sockets, something we have found lacking in many hotels. Internet access in the room too.

Large bathroom with a good shower over a very large corner bath - magnified shaving/make-up mirror and all, like the rest of the hotel - very clean and in good condition.

Breakfast is buffet style with a huge choice of food items and is very Turkish cusine based, so please don't expect a full English! We had no complaints about the breakfasts.

As is to be expected I suppose, Antalya is full of Doner Kebap eateries. This isn't our food of choice and we found that the buffet style, self service dinner at The Khan (7pm til 9pm) was by far the best choice of dishes and best value. Our dinner for two came to around TL75 (approx £25) for which you could eat as much as you wanted.

There is a mix of clientele at The Khan. A lot of business people and some businesses conferences going ahead whilst we stayed, along with a lot of Turkish couples enjoying a city break.

The staff are unobtrusive but helpful and very polite. Most of the Reception staff speak English and are very helpful in guiding you around the city.

There's a small supermarket directly across the road from the hotel entrance and unlike a lot of the smaller boutique type hotels in Kaleici, The Khan do not have any problems with you bringing food and drink to your room. As Turkey has an abundance of homegrown, extremely delicious fruit and nuts, this was a very welcome rule!

Antalya is a large city with a population of around 1.5million. We both remarked that we have never seen any town or city with as many shops as Antalya. Every main road and side street is lined with shops. Some are chain stores and there are many, many independent shops. The city is worth exploring on foot - the layout of the roads meant we never got lost once. And even if you do, taxis are plentiful and cheap.

We went to Antalya for a city break and so did not stay in the city's 'resorts' of Lara Beach and around Konyaalti - however, we heard from fellow British travellers that these resorts were very good and most were planning on returning.

For the history lovers amongst you, well, you are spoiled for choice in the region! We took up the offer of Ishmael the taxi driver (there's a taxi rank directly outside the hotel entrance) and he drove us around various places of interest for the day for the princely sum of TL200 (approx £70). We especially enjoyed the historical sights of Side (pronounced Seeday), where you walk among spectacular ruins of the Temples of Athena and Apollo in a most glorious setting.

The weather during our stay was a little mixed but expected for the time of year. We had gloriously sunny warm days and some cloudy days. The temperature dropped to a comfortable sleeping temperature at night.

All in all, a very enjoyable week long break - Antalya is a buzzing city, with shops and cafes open til late - and made especially enjoyable by the excellent Khan hotel. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: The higher the floor, the better the view. The corner suites are excellent value.

This hotel is superb in terms of location, service, facility, food, and price value ratio. It is right beside the clock tower, which is the northern border of Kaleici. Highly recommended. To get the best rate, try the official website of Best Western.

One tip: If the AC doesn't work, close the balcony door. They are connected.

A great hotel to stay at in Antalya. Its located right at the heart of the city centre and just a few minutes’ walk to the old town area of Kaleici and the Kaleici Marina.
The room was spacious and clean. The staff were really pleasant and helpful and informative. All that you could want from hotel staff. Special mention to Sinan who was extremely helpful with all kinds of information.

The hotel has complimentary drop off to the beach where they have a private beach area too. And you really can’t complain about that kind of service.( And while you’re there, do try out the Khan Burger)

Had breakfast for a couple of days at the main restaurant. Its decent spread, enough to get you started out for the day.

Great place to base yourself when in Antalya.

We had a very pleasant stay during our holiday. The corner room we had was very spacious and clean, towels were changed daily.

The location was very good, in about 10 minutes you were in Antalya 's harbor or the area of the old town with all the interesting sightseeing and restaurants.

The hotel offers a private beach, you have to use a free shuttle to get there, but it is worth. The beach is absolutely wonderful, although you have to be aware, it is not sandy, but a little rocky.

So my advise, if you have the chance to book, do not hesitate, you will not be sorry.

Room Tip: "Corner suites are large and sunny"

This hotel is within walking distance to all local attractions and Kaleici. The hotel pool was a welcome retreat after a day of walking, touring or shopping as it was close to 30 c when we were there in August. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was repetitive, but a good start to the day. We did not have dinner in the hotel restaurant, but checked out the Buffet one night and decided to dine out. Parlak Restaurant just down the pedestrian street, before reaching the Clock Tower and in an inner courtyard is a great restaurant.

The rooms were clean and spacious, compared to our next stop, Istanbul. If you get a pool/mountain view room ask for a high floor as the pool deck is on the same level as floor 2 or 3 so you would have your drapes drawn when you are in the room. Our rooms were on 6 & 8 (3 rooms in total). One suite faced the Harbour/Kelici/Mediterranean on the 8th floor and the view was great. Being a corner room it had windows on two sides, but sun all day. The AC had a time keeping up with the weather and in fact it broke down(entire hotel) the last couple of days we were there. The AC system also seemed to draw in the smell of cigarette smoke either from the main air intake or from other rooms. Although all rooms are non-smoking some travelers disobey that rule.

There is a little shop across from the entrance to the hotel where you can buy water etc. There are fresh orange juice vendors all around town. Just be sure they don't mix it with water or ice. In the Clock Tower Square there are some good OJ stalls offering a small bottle of fresh juice for 3tl. DON'T shop next door to them on the right. They rip you off for water, charging 2tl for a 1.5 l bottle of water that you can get most elsewhere for 0.50tl or less.

Shopping in Kelici for the bazaar atmosphere is good. Conventional shopping is good along Ataturk St. (follow the tram line). You will also come upon Hadrian's Gate along this street and a large pastry shop that's so good. There's also Terra City Mall (20 min by taxi) Enough said.... enjoy ! We certainly did....hotel included! Oh and the Antalya Museum at the end of the tram line, just above Konyaalti Beach is worth a visit!

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor for the view. Either side of the hotel is pleasant.
