“To be or not to be in Imperial !”
Reviewed April 8, 2013 via mobile

We spent 8 lovely nights in mid of march as a group of family and friends in Imperial.
Hotel is really luxurious . (rooms , lobby, resturants,...) but service? What can I say? Not the way it has to be as a 5 star resort, ofcourse its my personal opinion maybe its fine with other guests.
1- Beverages are local not branded.but they  are  all branded in Diva , we have been there too.
2-hotel is crowdy, many tours came from Azerbaijan, with all my respect I dont get what are they doing in a beach resort?! No drinks,, no dance , no swimming ?just film and dazzle to  other guests?!!! Maybe other destinations is better for them.  I talked to service & guest managers both seemed surprised by the situation like they are guest here!!!
3-animation team do nothing special in days beside pools & other corners , no excitment for joining the games which in compare with diva we really enjoyed every day.
Of course as I said at the beginning hotel is really fab and we really enjoyed our holidays , the quality of food was so good and  tasty all day , many snack bars and skate rollers who serve you what ever you like till evening.but after spending one week in Diva I think service  was much more better there,We relaxed and enjoyed our time. No crowd , no tours... although this delphin sister is a little bit elder and smaller.!
Dont worry !  you're Gonna spend lovely time in Imperial too.

Stayed as a family of 4 for 5 nights crossing over March/April. I think if my stay was all summer concept it might have been 5 stars. That said, if you go to Lara Beach at this time of year, the Delphins seemed a lot more summer ready than some of the hotels on the strip.

We had a couple of problems, but it's how they are dealt with, and in this case, very well. Firstly we got a dreadful room by lift shaft and service room. I knew it would be land side, but the view on this section of Lara Beach really is grim. We were told that economy rooms from Travel Republic (didn't say this on booking but interestingly website now changed!) always get these rooms but for a small fee we could upgrade. All dealt with very efficiently and we got a seaview room twice the size. Lovely. Be aware families though that the sofa bed is really only suitable for a child up to about 10, it's dinky.

Second problem, I knew there were only 2 a la cartes under 15s can use, and I don't disagree with this policy but on arrival, these two were closed and I found they had been making exceptions but the exception had stopped but they still didn't open the other 2! I was a bit cross as I had phoned in advance to check all this out and would have gone to Barut Lara had I known. Guest relations, lovely girl from LA and the Operations Manager were very kind and sorted it all and we enjoyed a meal in the Italian.

Problems sorted, on to the good stuff. Excellent food and service. The 24 hour food offering in the Camelot bar was super, management constantly checking, refilling etc. Loved the drinks trolley at dinner, Hennessey and coffee every night, delicious. These were the only times I saw premium drinks, but then I wasn't looking for them, mostly being a wine and beer girl. Wine and sparkling wine good quality for Turkish hotel btw.

Tried just about everything - slides, fair, games room, spa, nightclub (briefly ha ha) even haircut!! Brilliant. Our kids are 9 and 16 and this hotel is good for all age groups.

Hotel could promote its services and activities much better. We only found out from another guest when it was too late about the shuttle bus to Antalya, tennis coaching for kids etc etc.

Absolutely nothing to stop you going into the sister Delphins either side which we did. I don't think you could go wrong with any of them but I will say, the elder sisters have much nicer landscaping. I understand the Imperial hasn't had a chance to mature but it's just a large strip with pools either side whereas the others are more interesting, and have better outdoor food offerings and places to sit. But that's just personal opinion.

Highly recommended, and very jealous of anyone who has this booked!

Stayed over Easter (1st week in April) as a couple.
Cannot find fault with anything. Wonderful room with large balcony and views over pool and grounds out to sea.
Early in season so I guess only 50% full but fully staffed and always greeted with a smile within a minute of sitting down anywhere inside the hotel or extensive pool areas making sure you always had a drink.
Main Buffett was good with plenty of choice and always fresh and fully stocked. Tried also the al la carte Chinese, French and Italians all delicious.
Food and drink available 24 hours and room service menu from 12.00 midnight through till 6.00pm for the late night party people.
Really nice touch was the drinks girls around the pool areas who whiz zed around on roller blades making sure you always had drinks.
We travelled as a couple but the kids were well catered for with their own Pool, kids club an indoor games areas.
Plenty of sun beds (hundreds) all around pools and beach and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean.
Well worthy of its 5 star luxury resort label and would highly recommend.
Mainly German guests (80%) - Entertainment was low key as season was just starting
Perect time for us to visit as not too hot and a very pleasant 23 degrees
The entire hotel staff were polite and friendly and a real credit to the hotel which made our holiday to Turkey a great experience and we will return.

I was looking for this hotel from last year and I thought I will go to a real imperial resort, unfortunately not. we were group of 10 adult with a child and inf, my third trip to Antalya and first to delphin.
In one view: check in was disaster it takes from 6 am till 4 pm, food is average, service is poor, house keeping is disaster, building is perfect, rooms are very simple, front desk manager rude, staff rude and anger all the time. It was my first and last time in Delphine's.

Firstly the people who complain about this hotel must have their head in the sky. Doesn’t get better than this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for 1 week in mid-march. The hotel is beautiful from every angle possible.
This is now 4 times at Lara Beach and have to say I have now found the best.
Check in was quick and staff were very prompt. Rooms very stunning. Very classy indeed!!
Very spacious rooms. Bedding was very quirky.
I have read in previous reviews that there isn’t much choice for breakfast. They must be very fusey eaters because there was plenty. Anything you eat in the morning is there!!
The real deal fresh orange in the morning is delicious.
Lunch and dinner and similar. always plenty to choose from. chicken, turkey, lamb, beef, fish always available, in all different kind of dishes.
Plenty of fresh salad, side fish dishes, fruit, cakes, Turkish deserts, everything looks and tastes great! Good kitchen team there!!
Staff were always running after you taking your plate to your table for you, and if you never had a table they would make sure you had one within seconds!!

Staff were always helpful, always asking if they can do more for you. Workers always hard at work. Was definitely 5 star treatment.

Walking on the lovely beach. We walked the full beach (to the rocks) and Delphin Imperial was definitely the most well-kept area on the beach!

Outdoor heated pool too. I haven’t had this on any other hotel on Lara. Was so nice to know there was a heated outdoor pool.

The gym was very good, plenty of machines and very good machines. The gym man in there was a little intimidating. He did think he was something. Was more scary to me!!

The Camelot bar downstairs was very relaxing, nice little Irish bar, can get food there when restaurant is shut.

Never went to for a massage etc so can’t comment on that department, Sauna steam room was very pleasant, never too busy!

Decor of the hotel was stunning. Every little detail about it was very classy. The big chandelier at the lobby area is just a stunning view. Very beautiful!!

Toilets were stunning

Hotel is kept super clean.

Entertainment was mostly good. Something different every night.

One thing that put the holiday down was Iran new year. They come to Lara beach for their festive holiday. There was 500 Iranians in the hotel.
Will make sure I won’t be going back when it is Iran New Year. Majority was very ignorant, no manners, look you up and down. Never smile at you! VERY greedy with food.. waste so much. Would have on their table for 1 meal what I eat in 1 week (that is alot). Don’t know how to que for food, get in a lift when its full before letting people out of it.

OVERALL THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST HOLIDAY I HAVE HAD. FANTSTIC WEEK AT THIS HOTEL. WILL BE BACK!!!

Well done to everyone at Delphin Imperial.

the hotel- amazing. the decor, furnishings, dining space all above average
the rooms- superb a double bed, a single and a divan. the bathroom is large with a waterfall shower and bath
the food- delicious (the best dessert we have ever had). we were vegetarians and didnt have any problems for a week.
the staff- very friendly and efficient
the pools- enough of them and the service around the pool is great
evening entertainment- a bit weak in that department
beachside- cosy 2 person beds or single loungers are aplenty. clean beach.
cleanliness- very very clean kept
the hotel is not far from the airport and we paid 40 liras for a taxi

Room Tip: try and get 7th floor, sea facing. the garden facing rooms are not bad as excellent views of snow ca...
