“Absolutely fantastic! DONT HESITATE TO BOOK THIS HOTEL!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2011

Well...What can we say?? This trip was for our honeymoon and we are so glad we picked this hotel to go to! First impressions were amazing and the hotel is stunning-inside and out!! The staff were absolutely fantastic and really accomadating. They really tried their hardest to speak English and understand what we were saying. Contrary to some reviews on the staff and their English we really felt they made the effort with not only us but also with others staying at the hotel. The food was beautiful and always a different choice but there is definately something for everyone , adults and children (and this is coming from one verrry fussy eater!) The bars serving food in the day were brilliant too! We did have to one free a la carte that you get complimentary on our last nights stay but we actually preferred the main open buffet!! There was always food available throughout the day and evening. This hotel has so much to do we only ventured outside once and that was only for an hour looking at the market! The pools were lovely and with the heat you definately appreciate the coolness of the water! There were slides if thats your thing too. We found one of the best parts of the hotel was that you could walk through the complex straight onto the beach where there is also a jetty into the sea with a bar and sunloungers etc STUNNING!!
We would for sure come back to this hotel and would also bring our little boy next time as there was so much for children to do !! We didnt even get to explore all of the hotel as there was so much to do! The evening entertainment is great and is for both children and adults.
We cant believe how lucky we were to get such a great hotel where everything was available all the time and the entertainement , food and staff was exceptional!!!

PLEASE DONT HESITATE TO BOOK THIS HOTEL AS IT IS A GREAT HOLIDAY!!!

Room Tip: we had standard and it was still brilliant!

We have stayed at royal wings royal dragon and just come back from royal holiday palace. Do no stay in duplex room the heat is unbearable.rooms are huge but let down by the Aircon.
Food is very repetitive all in all good value though going back in august stopping in a suite this time.

Well what can i say but what a fantastic hotel
the rooms were very spacious and decor everywhere was very grand.
the main pool was enormous, with two seperate pools for the toddlers with one with slides into it.
the main slides were brill, which opened twice per day, they also had single rings and double rings you could use on two slides.
the lunchtime food court was superb,Toasted sandwich, baked potatoes, freshly made pizza, doner kebab then waffles and ice cream.
we tried the Hashi Far East restaurant which was good (7 courses) but service very slow.and the italian one (also 7 course) which was superb service a lot better.
the funfair was good for kids with dodgems, big wheel, trampolines and pirate ship.it ran twice a day about 3 ish and 9 at night i think.
the games room was good for kids,it had a fair few games and air hockey, pool tables and bowling alley, etc also internet for 2 euros for 15mins or 4 for 30 mins i think.

Alll in all i would definitely go back again ,but next year the price is sure to go up.

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Royal Holiday Palace, what a fantastic hotel. The hotel in general is fab, the rooms, pool area and especially the food courts around the pool are flawless. We ate in the Hashi Far East restaurant and food and service here was amazing. The entertainment staff are always round the pool chating with you and trying their best to get you to join in with the games. We had young children with us who loved evenings at the funfair. After travelling to the Royal Wings last year we probably found this hotel had the edge over the Royal Palace, but would still not hesitate in coming back here in the future. All staff were very friendly and had no problem in speaking and understanding english. Overall a very enjoyable week away with fantastic weather!!

in a short review-
hotel very nice
decor excellent
services excellent
if you have children you might find yourself staying in the hotel rather then going outside
food 24/7
drinks 24/7

only bad things - lack of english entertainment and two english channels on the tv too much emphasis on russians

but very nice

I stayed at the Royal Holiday Palace in the middle of May for 1 week.
Its all-inclusive drinks and food 24 hours a day (you don’t use wristbands)

The room we stayed in was on the side, overlooking the Lara Beach hotel but you could also see the sea. It was a good side as you got the sun in the evening. The rooms are big and the beds are very comfortable. Free safe, free mini bar stocked daily with water, soft drinks and beer. They had only 2 English news channels but I had a pc lead with me so I could watch films on it from my netbook.
Food was very good, something for everyone. With the main food hall having chefs cook fresh food in front of you , big salad bars etc. The only time there was no food available was between 9pm and 12. At 12 a bistro opened till 7am where you could have a 3 course meal or just have simple things like burger and chips.
In the day there were several counters by the pool which served sandwiches, jacket potatoes, kebabs, pizza, toasties, ice cream and cakes. So we would have smoked salmon at 12.30 as a starter from one of the counters then ate around 1.30 at the beach restaurant. (There was too much choice in the main restaurant at lunchtime.)
You could have a drink 24 hours a day. Local drinks were all free, spirits, beer, wines, cocktails, soft drinks .You had to pay for imported drinks, but the selection of local drinks was so vast we never paid for a drink.
The animation team were really friendly, always saying hello and coming to talk to you. You could opt in or opt out of the games easily. There was a nightly show at 9.30 in the amphitheatre, some of the shows were good, and others were that bad that they were funny. Although there was a children’s show on beforehand.
There was live music available most nights either in the lobby or the pool bar.
Pool was very long and a bit cold; even thou the weather was boiling. I could swim for about 15 mins max before needing to get out. 5 adult waterslide were fun. There were 3 children slides in a different area. Small free funfair with big wheel, dodgems, pirate ship etc. Open 2 times a day. There was a bar on the pier on the beach but we only used it once as we preferred the pool. On the beach were water sports but didn’t use them as I thought they were expensive (30 euro for 10mins on the Jet Ski, 50 euro each for the paragliding).

All the staff spoke English and found them very friend with bar staff with no real waits for drinks..
There was a games room with a bowling alley (5 euros per person) pool was 2.5 euro per game and games machines which took tokens (20 tokens 20 euro)

Even though a lot of prices were in Euro I recommend only taking Lira as they give you a better price if you pay in Lira. I.e. bowling was 5 Euros (£4.41) per person or 10 lira (£3.80).
There was a hotel shuttle bus direct to Antalya 2 times a day (5 Euro return)
You could eat in one of the 5 Al a cart restaurant’s for free per week. They all are 7 courses .We chose the Mexican which was excellent.( The local wine was free by the glass, if you ordered a full bottle you would be charged ).
The nightclub was fun open 11.45 till 2.30. A bit quiet as by then most people had gone to bed.
Late checkout is available for 10 Euros per hour after 12. But you can’t book it in advance and only get to know on the day of check out in case they need the room, otherwise you would have to use the indoor pool changing rooms. (You still get to use the all-inclusive).
There is Wi-Fi available in the lobby but often didn’t work but hopefully this should be sorted out as I did make them aware of this.
I would definitely go back, wasn’t bored once in the whole week I was there. There is nothing outside the hotel, nowhere to walk to, as its just hotel after hotel, but I was very happy just staying in the complex. Airport transfer was only 30 minutes.
