Description: This is the most wonderful family run restaurant specialising in fish. It is tucked away in the courtyard of a house which has been in the same family since the mid nineteenth century. The chef/patron was a delight and truly card about his guests and his food. It is a far cry from the tourist traps elsewhere in Antalya's old town and well worth a visit.

The place is lovely, a 19th century family house, and the food was actually OK, but this restaurant is sort of a tourist trap, considering the prices.
The house wine is terrible, our shrimp casserole was mediocre (overcooked shrimp) for 35 TL, the grape leaves were bad, and while our sea bass was good, we were charged 75 TL for it: ridiculous.
I have been eating for a fraction of the price elsewhere and without compromising on quality. Stay away from here.

“A restaurant scented with orange blossom”
Reviewed April 14, 2013

This is a small, family-run restaurant in an old Turkish house in the warren of streets leading down to the harbour. The tables are set under the orange trees growing in the courtyard. The six of us were the only party there on a wet, early April evening - just as well, as there is only one table under a roof. We were so well looked after by the waiter, one of the brothers who own the restaurant. He advised us on our choice, made sure everything was OK, and seemed delighted that we were happy, but was never obtrusive. The food, chosen with his help, was delicious. He recommended against our ordering a dessert each, saying that one between two would be plenty, as we had been unable to finish our main course. He was right.
We had intended finding a restaurant with a sea view for the final dinner of the holiday, but the charm of the courtyard and the Turkish menu convinced us to alter our plan. It was a memorable evening, scented with orange blossom, and superb value for money.

“Fabulous traditional family-run restaurant”
Reviewed October 26, 2012

This family-run restaurant in Kaleici old town is off the beaten track, but well worth making a detour to find it.
The tables are located in a lovely courtyard, open to the sky, and with beautiful citrus trees.
The food was truly home-cooked, and delicious. Do take advantage of recommendations from the restaurateur. I particularly enjoyed a main course called 'Guvec Sote' - this was a dish of fried beef, peppers, onions, and turkish spice. The fruit platter was also lovely, and very generous. All in all, a fabulous meal, and fantastic value for money.
