Found this old family restaurant in Old Town, Antalya, and we were the only customers in there - but dining in the small cosy courtyard with the lemon and orange trees was really great. The proprietor who speaks very little English recommended a Turkish dish, pasa kebab, a sizzling lamb and vegetable dish with a cheese covering - excellent!
One thing - check whether the card machine is working if you want to pay by card. We checked that they took cards before the meal but were then told it was not working when we came to pay. The proprietor was very good about it - and gave me a lift to the nearest cashpoint - on his scooter! Roaring through the alleys of Antalya clinging on to an elderly scooter - without a crash helmet - is not an experience I would recommend or wish to repeat!!!! Certainly a meal to remember - but we'd be delighted to go back.
