My friend and I found Otantik during our budget-conscious trip to Turkey. We were thrilled to see affordable meals and wine on the menu, and even more thrilled by the quality of the food, wine and service. We went back twice in our four days there!
The first night, a woman was celebrating her birthday. Whether or not she was a close friend of the waitstaff, we could not tell, but she was treated as such. It was a joy to be a part of what seemed like a beautiful celebration.
Our second night, our waiter greeted us on the street and teased us about our street-worn clothes - it was all good-natured and familiar, and he made it up to us with free wine and dessert that night.
