the SERVICE ---- SUPER good. I missed my bus , and the staff helped me to changed the ticket. very thoughtful and kindly.

the ROOMS ---- the dormroom for 4 people is very good.if you go with 4 people together, choose it.

We were fortunate to get one of their larger rooms, but in any case we found the Abad hotel staff/family warm, welcoming, and helpful in every way. We'd booked into a more expensive hotel that we found dreary, and when we stumbled on the bright, clean, modern rooms of the Abad, we were more than pleased that we'd made the move. The breakfast was great, and the lunches (very inexpensive) were beyond compare. We'd definitely go back, and the money saved will go into carpets--their shop is across the street.

Room Tip: Ask for a large room when you book--rooms on the front are brighter.

Although the staff were welcoming and friendly, I would not recommend this hotel simply because the bedroom was so small. There was only room for a double bed, no bedside tables and barely enough room to stand beside the bed. We could not put 2 suitcases on the floor at the end of the bed. We moved hotel to a competitor close by and paid less for a much larger room and better breakfast. Dinner at the Abad was very good and reasonably priced, but unfortunately they have made a big mistake with the conversion of the rooms into doubles. Perhaps a single room or the 4-bunk bed rooms would be okay.

We stayed for just one night since we stayed for just one day in Antalya. Our room was very small with just barely enough space to put our luggage on the floor and walk around. However, the room and our bathroom was very clean (can't say the same for the common toilets on the main floor). Staff were helpful even if they didn't always understand English. The best part was being able to use the pool at the other hotel down the street. It was the perfect solution after a hot and sunny day walking around town.

We had a slight problem with breakfast. It said it starts at 7 AM but we eat it at the other hotel down the road (the one with the pool) and their breakfast starts at 7:30. So it wasn't really ready yet and we had to leave to catch our bus, so we just sort of ate what we could of what was available at that time. The only other problem was our street facing window. Since we slept with the window open for fresh air (I didn't notice any air conditioner in our room), we got a lot of the street noise from people talking and walking by, so bring your earplugs for this place.

I suppose I would recommend this place unless you really need a spacious room since overall, it was good value.
