The traditional entertainment which is provided is by no means intrusive, it is gentle, soothing and interesting to experience.
The meze choice is truly fantastic. a help yourself option for a starter which you can easily share. We had so many tastes of delicious salads, I could have just ordered that! This is one of those restaurants retaining the old custom of bringing you a fruit selection at the end of your meal too.
A great evening, have the meze, the locals do too!

Having only two nights to spend in Antalya, me and my girlfriend wanted to eat somewhere special on the last night (but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg). We considered the highly rated restaurants on Hespaci sokak (such as vanilla lounge, villa perla etc.), but decided against them because of both price and the fact that you can find european-style fine dining anywhere in europe. Instead we took a chance on Hasanaga, and it paid off. Service was relaxed, casual and friendly and the food was good and arrived quickly. But the atmosphere was what made our last night in Turkey so special - a three-person band played traditional songs in the garden all night, and the majority-turkish (about 80%) diners frequently joined in on the favourites (it was never so loud as to drown out conversation, however!) When the bill came, it was only 95 TL for a shared meze platter, two main courses, a bottle of turkish wine and two double rakis (and we were given a complementary plate of fruit). We were dancing when we left the restaurant!

Nothing in Kaleici is cheap but the Hasanaga is as good as you will find. The restaurant is busy with a high proportion of Turkish customers and, refreshingly, they don't feel the need to hassle passers-by. It has a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere and there was live music when we visited. Food, service and value were all good. Of the restaurants we have frequented in Kaleici this is the only one I would actively recommend.
