“Great Location, Fantastic Value”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

This B&B has a beautiful veranda and garden in which a delicious mostly vegetarian breakfast is served (they also offer eggs.) The view from the 3rd floor terrace is priceless. It was mostly very quiet for the 7 days we were there, we had one noisy neighbor one night. We had the Archeology Room. Next time we would pay more for a bigger room with a view of the ocean. Our room was small but clean, nice windows, no view of anything remarkable. The bathroom very small. The location in Kaleici (old town) was perfect. Close to everything, great shopping and restaurants. Over an hour by bus to the airport. Taxis are available for about $15-20 dollars. Mehmet helped us rent a car during our stay and we got a really great deal on it. The staff was very friendly and helpful alway. Would definitely stay here again. One of the best views in Kaleici, Very romantic. <3

Room Tip: Pay extra for an ocean view room, would be well worth it.

We had initially booked with a so called boutique hotel in old Antalya but after our reasonable questions were ignored and any answers were too short to be intelligible, we looked around and found the Villa Tulipan. And what a great selection we made. Friendly staff, an amazing room (No 23 - The Water Room), great views (own balcony) and lovely, leisurely breakfasts made this 6 nights that we will remember for a very long time. The location is perfect with great amenities close by; who would have thought that you need a 24 hour bakery but baklava and Turkish coffee at midnight is an experience not to be missed!

Room Tip: Check out the website as all the rooms are shown but No 23 (The Water Room) is hard to beat

£ wonderful night in Ottaman suite. Spacious and interesting decor. It felt like our little home. great roof terrace with view over the bay to the mountains and over the old city. Breakfast enjoyed in garden was pleasant. perhaps polythene on dishes a bit wasteful but no doubt a practical reason for this. The owner was very helpful trying to work out buses for us. Nice quiet location certainly at the time we were there.the staff were always very willing too.

Room Tip: Lots of nice ones just look at their web site to see which suits your tastes and budget !

This is a great B&B. We stayed for 3 nights in the Archaeology room. It is really quite small, with a very, very small bathroom, but it is nicely decorated, exceptionally clean and so peaceful. After five days in Istanbul, this was such a welcome retreat and an oasis in Antalya old town. The owners were very friendly, as was the dog. Breakfast was very well presented. The roof terrace is beautiful, although we found much to explore in Antalya and regretfully didn't spend so much time there.

Mostly I enjoyed the good quality bed linen, cool tranquil room, relaxed atmosphere and great sleep. Recommended.

Needed a hotel for a night before our flight out of Antalya. The old city is bit touristy but I thought the night lights really beautiful.

The room is nicely updated with new bathroom fixtures, great water pressure and very clean. It's a bit on the small side, like a studio with a bed as the main and only attraction of the room. Wifi is near non-existent.

If you're driving into the hotel and don't have a gps, the directions they give aren't great. Traffic is a bit hairy around that area. I wished I had printed directions and asked for landmarks as there are few road signs up. Basically, when you're on the road bordering the old city, look for a brown sign that points to the old city. You'll have to go through a parking toll gate and grab a ticket. The hotel will take care of the parking fee when you leave.

We have spent a few days at the beginning of our holiday in Villa Tulipan and because of the perfect location, the charming room with balcony and the warm welcome, we returned at the end. A feeling as if we came home. An important thing was that Emmy and Mehmet gave us a lot of information and good advises. A perfect mix of service and hospitality. And it was very comfortable for us that Emmy speaks her languages well. Mehmet made a delicious spaghetti for us. We will certainly return to this place.

Sitting in comfortable Turkish sofas on the roof terrace of Tulipan Villa in Antalya while admiring the view to the see, my soul pauses and I enjoyed the
beauty of this place.
But not only the roof terrace, the entire three-story pension, situated in the old town, gave me, arriving exhausted from the Lykian footpath the impression
of being guest in Oriental culture and feeling at home at the same time.
Each room is a little treasure itself, decorated with love and professional artful hands to match individual mottos that join both occidental and oriental styles and fine pieces of artwork.
The garden invited me to have a delicious breakfast. But the best of all
is Mrs. Hetty, she gave me a warm welcome and a competent help to find in
the city what I needed.
