Stayed here between 21st Sept 12 and 2nd Oct 12.... overall I have nothing bad to say so I am just going to summarise the good very few bad points;

The French a la carte - give it a miss, made myself and my boyfriend slightly unwell but the Guest Relations arranged a lovely private meal for us on our last night as way of an apology so at least they made good.

You do have to get up early for the sunbeds on the pier (have to be down there by 8am latest) I am not sure about the staff removing the towels business before 8.30, we never had this problem and left our towels on the beds every day while we went for breakfast.

It is carnage in the dining room at breakfast, lots of pushy people rushing in front of you as if it were a matter of life and death, we just laughed it off and made a joke of it but can imagine it would stress some people out. This is pretty standard in all AI's in Egypt/Turkey etc that we have been to....

BUT, these are just small niggles we had, on the whole we absolutely loved this holiday and are already planning to return, may try the Imperial next door as this did look even more impressive than the Diva!

Tip: Try a turkish bath from the man who walks around the pool, we did a deal with him and had the bath plus 1 hr swedish massage for EUR75.00 for both of us which I don't think is bad for a hotel spa.

Tip: Try the outdoor restaurant behind the pool for lunch, much nicer selection that the main restaurant.

Tip: Don't bother with the French or Chinese a la carte, all the others were lovely and made a change from the buffet.

Tip: They serve fresh waffles for just 1 hour between 1400-1500 near the pool outside the nightclub...they are amazing, we had one every day but they are not advertised or brought around the pool....we only found them by following the smell :-)

Tip: If you can get up early enough get a spot on the end of the pier, you will get an amazing tan and its a lovely breezy spot for when its 30 degrees

Tip: Try the speedboat tour from the watersports guy on the beach, great fun and nice to get out of the hotel, he takes you down the coast to the caves and you can get off the boat and have a little swim in the sea, the driver will also take photos of you if you ask...they are all really nice guys. Paid EUR45.00 for both of us I think.

We paid GBP900.00 each roughly for 10 days inc flights so for this money the amount of food/drinks we got was a really good deal! Would 100% recommend, we are Turkey converts because of this hotel!

We stayed end of September to October and can honestly say we had a fantastic time.

It was a big family holiday with us taking up four rooms, having 1 baby, 2 toddlers and a couple of elderlys :)

The hotel is very much geared towards Germans but you are on holiday where all nationalities will be and all staff make you feel welcome regardless where you are from. The issue with the sunbeds was worrying us before but we never once had a problem and the hotel was at full capacity. We did have trouble getting a bed on the jetty which was frustrating as people would pile up 3/4 beds and drape them in towels then leave them most of the day!! We found going around 2pm we could get a bed or two so the little ones could have a nap in the shade.

Area around the pool is very very slippy, didnt see any major accidents but did see a couple of falls but these people were running. Skater waiteress service is fantastic, absolutly love the idea and felt very waited on. We didnt have to move!!

Rooms - lovely, roomy, a double bed single bed and a small sofa, clean adequate, mini bar was great and stocked well too. Air con worked a treat! Had a nice view of imperial, pool view and a sea view.

Food - choice was great and if you are adventurous you will love all the choice, fish night, veal etc, because I am fussy my standrad meal waas chicken rice salad. Through the day the chicken doner was delicious and the mini "KFC" meal haha, chicken wings and chips. You wont go hungry, food everywhere you go, waffles, deserts, buffet bars, its everywhere!! Only problem is evening meal can get chaotic!

Entertainment was hit and miss, neing there for two weeks the daytime got a little repetative but was a lot of fun! Evenings were spent in the ampitheatre, bmx show, moscow circus were the ones that stood out for us. live music every night. The best part of our hpoliday had to be the beach party, the amount of work that goes in and the fantastic night that comes out, brilliant, a big fire on the beach, staff dressed up, a massive foam machine, a waiter that doesnt know what alcohol units are all make for a good night. The begining was ideal fort he kids to get involed, they were then delivered to respective grandparents and we partied away. This then carried on into the nightclub.
Theme nights were good with the staff really throwing themselves into turkish night and the gala evening

Drinks - drinks are fine and you can definartly taste the alcohol, after 8pm I think at the pool bar they were serving branded drinks, smirnoff, bacardi etc, this was the case in the lobby bar, where they have the most alcoholic cocktails ever!!

Kids - Funfair with candyfloss, brilliant idea (great bribe for eating all their tea), kids club through the day, cool, looked after and their own food and drinks, swimming pool was great and i felt happy enough to sit on the side and watch at some points, kids buffet area, mini tables, mini buffet, mini play area so you can eat your food, great idea. games room with bowling, arcade style games, snooker etc

Spa - used the spa for a full body massage and really haggled on price, i the end we paid around 200 for 4 of us. Mother used hairdressers and looked fantasic after, i had my nails painted again nice and cheap and brightened them up for 2nd week.

All in all we had a great family holiday and would love to go there again. If you book you wont be dissappointed.

"It's full of foreigners" Who cares the place and location and more importantly the people who staff the Hotel are great. If you want to share your holiday with other Brits go to Spain or the Greek Islands, try. South Cyprus it's pretty near little Britain. If you are travelling to someone else's country to holiday, treat both the country and its people with respect. the Diva posts on al large screen and whilst we were there in June 2012 Brits were 2nd on the list but I don't really care what the mix was, we had a lovely holiday in a beautiful setting with safe beaches, daily sun and made German, Dutch and Danish friends. The Russians were a different thing, but I would still love to sit down with a Russian couple or family and get their take on things.

The Hotel isn't the biggest we have stayed at since we started visiting this. Coast in 2006 (we have found it difficult to be bothered going elsewhere" however it's gardens are well matured and beautiful, the food is excellent once you have sorted out how it all works and where what you want is. The staff are obliging, there are plenty of sun beds (although a little crammed in round the pool compared to some) but plenty on the beach plus inexpensive beach huts in fact some are free. The beach is extremely well kept and constantly cleaned. There are plenty of bars and an adequate gym. The Guest relations staff were excellent, not dressed up dolly birds as in so many of the others down this strip, they patrol and talk to guest and seek ideas to improve things for the guests (Ege deserved particular mention). Rooms-well they we clean and cleaned everyday, we sleep in our room and get out and about the rest of the time either on or of the complex, what more could we ask than our room was clean and comfortable. Some of the reviewers need to review their expectations and reasons for going on holiday. Get a life, it seems that some people are unpleasable. Thoroughly recommend the Delphin Diva to sensible, sociable holiday makers.

Room Tip: Rooms on the east side were brighter and sunny. Just chill and enjoy good food, drink and space you...

We went all inclusive , and got cheap food and cheap local drinks . no Bowmore or Jack here.
But enough food and drinks , and if you want service tip at the beginning of your stay.
The hotel is nice but can need some fixing up , and the staff speaks german mostly and the food is more german than turkish.
And another tip go outside the hotel to shop , inside it expensive , and the lady at the clothes shop stole one of our trousers when see offered to fit the legs., i cant still belive it.

Room Tip: Family rooms have space

The big issue for Brits considering this hotel is that it is effectively a German resort hotel. This is not an anti-German write up. Some of my best friends etc……. (that said; why oh why do they do play out the stereotype with the towels and the sun beds at the first glimpse of any sun?). The real issue here is the food. Again no criticism of the hotel management here, if 98%+ of your guests are German then you are going to make sure that you cater for them. The problem for the rest of us Europeans is when was the last time you said to your partner “mmm you know what I really fancy is a German takeaway tonight”? Two days into boiled fish and pickled vegetables and you are going to wish you had picked another hotel. OK granted this issue may have been compounded by the fact that 4 of the 6 ‘A-La-Carte’ Restaurants had not been closed out of season (it would have been nice to have been told that when we made the booking) but it is hard not to conclude that this hotel is possibly best left to the Germans.
Location – Lara Beach which is a bit of a hop, skip and jump from the town of Antalya. The Delphin Diva puts on a daily mini-bus free of charge but you have to book the previous day and live with the outward/return journey time specified. According to reception there is a decent bus service (we didn’t test the theory) but due to the high cost of fuel in Turkey a taxi journey to the old town will set you back the best part of 40 Euro each way.
Hotel – Well let’s get the key message on the table; this is not a 5 star hotel according to any rating that I have ever experienced. When you sit down for your first meal and they ask you “red or white?” you will know that is not going to be a 5 star experience (for the real connoisseurs amongst you will be even more appalled to know that it the self-styled A-La-Carte restaurants the red or white question is asked even before you have been handed a menu). The hotel is grand enough and the staff, and there are plenty of staff, are all jolly helpful and keen to serve; but in UK terms think more 3.5 to 4 stars at best.
Restaurants – The main restaurant is self-serve, it is clean and tidy with indoor and outdoor settings. Ignoring for a moment the German orientation of the food the food is refreshed regularly and the local ‘red or white’ is not bad. Over the new year only the Oriental and the Italian ‘a-la-carte’ restaurants were in operation (2 of the 6 options promised in the full season) and you have to book for these, typically a day in advance and you are only permitted to visit each of them once during your stay. The ‘al-a-carte’ restaurants offer a limited choice (typically 2 of each course). In my opinion the oriental restaurant was poor (sweet/sour chicken with rice and a battered ball of ice cream for sweet) but the Italian themed option was much better. We bit the bullet and paid the taxi fair to visit the Seraser Fine Dining Restaurant up in Antalya Old Town twice during the week, it was expensive when the taxi cost is added but the food was truly 5 star!). Look out for the doner kebab stand at lunch time, yes I know it is a cliché for Turkey but it will make a nice change from boiled chicken and sauerkraut I promise.
Rooms – Very good with plenty of room and a balcony. The shower pressure was good up on the 3rd floor (always an important factor for me) and the mini bar is kept stocked daily with beer, coke and a chocolate bar. The towels were a bit threadbare but otherwise the rooms are good and kept clean and tidy.
Facilities – We made use of the gym and the Turkish Spa and my wife enjoyed a full massage and she was very impressed. Sadly the weather meant that I cannot comment on the swimming pools but suffice to say that there are a lot of them and they look great.

This hotel is amazing. The staff are second to none. They are honestly brilliant. I stayed here with my partner and our daughter who was 8months at the time of our travel. We where there for 11nights from 11th May 2012.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Rooms are an ok size, and has free room service from 12:00am tilll 6:00am ( I think those times are right). The mini bar in your room is refilled daily with pepsi, fizzy orange, water, chocolate bars and nuts. There is a free safe in your room located in the wardobe. You get bath robes and slippers. There are also tolietries in the bathroom but I'm not sure how oftern they are refilled as we didn't use them. We had a room on the lobby floor which was nice as we have a pushchair so it made things a little easier. We did have to change rooms as the first on we got was right infront of the lobby lifts so it was just so loud at all hours. We could just heard people talking all night. Changing rooms was so easy we asked to change and they changed us no problem. There are signs up in the rooms saying not to plug in electical items but come on!!! haha. There was no way I was going 11nights without my straighteners.

The food was not what I had expected as we have stayed in the Titanic and Royal Holiday Palace where the food was out of this world, I felt this was not as good here. I will admit that I am a fussy eater so most people would be ok. They have a fridge in the resturant with jars of baby food. There is also a mirowave if you what to heat up bottels or sterilise them.

The outdoor pools were so cold!!!! Indoor pool was lovely and warm. I didnt go on the slides but they looked fun. The fun fair is nice, my daughter enjoyed the train. The mini club disco was brillilant, they girls are just lovely and they dont leave anybody out. They give out a pack of sweet or chocolate every night to every child. The show are good we really enjoyed some of them. They have a waiter going round the amphitheatre with soft drinks and beer, which is a really nice touch.

If you are thinking of booking this hotel then do it. You will love it, we did.

I could keep going on about how great this place is but I think this review is long enough.

Room Tip: Lobby floor is you have a pushchair. We didn't pay extra for a seaview but good one anyway.
