This small pension is in old town region of Antalya, with a beautiful garden, fresh and excellent turkish breakfast. You can enjoy the meal beside its small swimming pool or farden. The staffs are friendly. Room is very clean and comfortable with free-wifi access.

...that's what I thought, when they showed me the room. Some stairs up to a small, clean and very quiet single room in (no. 17) with air condition (if you want), a TV (not what I need in holidays) and a single bed with a normal hard mattresse and two pillows. There is in this floor only one other room opposite to it. The view is to the little pool and over the roofs of kaleici. You can hear the softened "noise" of the old part of Antalya. Even the muezzin sounds in a moderate volume. Breakfast is with a huge variety of fruit and vegetable. Enough to start the day in this very nice decorated patio with plants. Everybody can find a private place to sit and hang around. The staff is very friendly and let you feel welcome. Thanks from a single travelling lady from Germany!

We booked a twin room in the White Garden Pension around 2 months in advance directly via email. I was also in contact two days prior to our arrival to arrange an airport pickup so the Pension knew we were coming and at what time (Lateish at night). When we arrived we were taken to a budget hotel two doors down (Angel Hotel) which was clearly an inferior hotel. When asked about this he said the White Garden was full but they would move us back there tomorrow.
We did get a room in the Pension on the second night which was a nicely done-up room (although very small) and a brand new bathroom.
The owner and management of this Pension need to understand that when customers book rooms they expect to receive what they have booked, not an entirely inferior place. White Garden obviously don't ever turn bookings or people away, they use the cheap hotel two doors down as an overflow hotel. If you happen to be arriving late (even with a booking made 2 months in advance!) you're the unlucky one who gets moved.
This is a common practice amongst budget places that use similarity budget places as overflow and it is somewhat accepted as the overflow rooms are generally equal or even superior to the main rooms. But for a much nicer pension like White Garden to use this practice on guests with advance bookings, with no communication, is completely unacceptable. They even attempted to charge us the same rate for the first night (which I might add was a higher rate than that agreed on email and written in the 'booking'.
For this reason I cannot recommend booking at this Pension. If you enquire off the street and are given a nice room you are lucky!

Room Tip: The rooms facing the street do get some noise but it's usually pretty quiet at night.

This is a great find in old town. The staff are so wonderful, very welcoming and helpful. Used tour services and was very satisfied, good deal for personal service at all historical sites. Breakfast is great, good selection of fruit, cheese, cereal, and breads. You don't need much more. Stayed in an apartment, great deal and very comfy. Had chance to see regular rooms, clean and a good deal.

We stayed here for one night and were pleasantly surprised at the bang we got for our buck.

Having booked a standard room, we were asked on arrival if we would like an upgrade to a much larger room at their other hotel across the street. Whilst it was an amazingly generous offer, we declined based on the fact that the standard room was right next to the hotel pool. Their other hotel across the street did not have a pool, and trust me, you need a pool to escape the Antalya-in-August heat! However, if we had have been staying more than one night, the larger room would have been better as the standard room was very, very, very small (but still fine!).

There is nothing to complain about with this hotel. You get a very welcoming and authentic Turkish experience. The staff couldn't get any more friendlier - such lovely people. It is walking distance to the centre of town and to the Port where you can take day trips on gullets. The hotel is also in the middle of Kaleiçi, Antalya's Old Town which is cute to just walk around and explore.

Our trip to Antalya was governed by our need to get a stamp on some documents at the Local Council Office because we were getting married in the Antalya Region. We could walk to the office from the hotel, hence the White Garden Pansion was the perfect choice for us and the added bonus of being in gorgeous Kaleiçi was the icing on the cake.

This was our 6th stay at the white garden and I can't praise the place enough, big beds, clean rooms, friendly people, heavenly breakfasts. the only thing I can think of that could improve is the lighting in the bathroom and the only reason I mention that is so I don't sound too gushing in my praise. We felt as if our week lasted at least a month and will return just as soon as we have sufficient holiday time! I saw that people have been distressed by being put in sister hotels but I assure you this is nothing to be distressed about, the three hotels are merely separately branded to distinguish the buildings from one another and the type of accommodation provided (there are suites and apartments and family rooms and singles and twins etc.) Do not hesitate to book any of them directly, we are looking forward to trying different rooms each time we stay....

Room Tip: 401 and 402 are in a semi basement off the breakfast courtyard which at first seems strange but they...

Metin and his team could not have made us more welcome. A great place to stay if you want to tour the region. The breakfast is legendary and will set you up for a day of exploring. We stayed in one of the apartments which were great value for money, very comfortable, clean and peaceful. Another bonus is access to the pool which is a godsend after a day trekking the local historical sites. Couldn't leave a review without mentioning the fabulous, Mustapha, Jamal and Aygin, - you made us feel at home, what a team!! Thank you!
