“The best ;)”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

The best beach in Alanya. Clean water, nice sunbeds and good service. In addition to this, there is a very nice and interesting cave. It reminded me to Postojne Jame in Slovenia, and the only difference is the high humidity :). You have to visit it.

“Easy access, compact cave”
Reviewed August 26, 2013

The cave was easy to access from Cleopatra beach, and cost only 4,5 TL. It was small, but beautiful anyway.

Why not to take a look at it.

“Damlataş Mağarası”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

Cave in the center of Alanya. The name comes from two words, damla - drop, taş - stone, and translated as "a semi-precious stone." Inside the cave are many fantastic formations of stalactites and stalagmites. Visit the cave is useful for people who suffer from asthma, and simply clean your lungs are not too bad.

“Save your money”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

Its a hole in a mountain, where you sit on a bench in one room and stare at a million tourists for five minutes and then leave. If you want to see a cave, go to Dim cave.

“Not that interesting”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

This cave was only discovered in 1946. I have seen many fantastic caves around the world and this one was a disappointment. Hardly worth the 4.50 TL entry fee. You walk into a corridor area, go down some stairs and there is one big room, plus a small section you need to nearly crawl into and that is it. You can visit in 5-10 minutes. It was really hot out that day, about 40°C, and it was so hot and humid inside the cave and so crowded that we couldn't wait to get out. If you have children then I can see how this would be enjoyable for them, otherwise skip it if you have seen other caves, and go to the museum down the street, which is much more interesting. Access is easy as it is right next to the beach, so if you are bored and have nothing else to do then some might find it a nice quick diversion. The cave supposedly is good for asthma sufferers and those with respiratory problems and we did see several people sitting on the floor in the low section with their eyes closed and breathing in the humid air.
