If you visit Alanya and leave without coming this place, your trip is incomplete. It "is" a key place, a symbol of Alanya. Also, as other visitors had mentioned, there is a secret beach next to it, and the water is crystal clear. I was amazed seeing the water color. In front of it, there is an area to sit under shadows on the banks, and you can take very nice pictures.

We went here during the day and it was a nice walk in the tower, there's also a small "hidden" beach worth visiting next to the tower- the water there is extremely clear. Nice restaurants in the neigbourhood and close to the city. Great views to the harbour.

Interesting but only to those who are interested in history. But it is next to the harbour so there are plenty of things to see and enjoy

Wonderful piece of history, kept to a good standard. Not for the elderly of young children as the steps are very steep and few hand rails. But the views and overall experience is wonderful. The 3 for 1 tickets allows you into the shipyard and gun fort and entrance to the caves.

It is quite a climb, but it is worth it. The view from above, the narrow stairs. 13th century. Just fantastic!
